It took a while for me to get an appointment with Nicole, but I was definitely happy when I did. I have suppppper thin brows, like non existent, and had previously been burned at my last eyebrow space. Nicole did an excellent job asking questions about my skin care routine, in addition to giving suggestions on how to fill my brows and tend to the burn. She did a great job waxing, and I was nervous about getting my eyebrows tinted, but I figured go big or go home. I was extremely pleased at the natural appearance of the tint. You walk into some shady NAIL salon and they ask you what you want, you say eyebrows, *gulp* and then it feels like you are walking to the gallows. After burns, pain, and too much tweezing, you end up with thin, non-shaped brows. You pay, go home, and cry about it and vow to grow your eyebrows back, and never return again. These experiences are what let me to seek Nicole's services. Nicole is situated in a beautiful salon suite near the newly renovated (gentrified) Rhode Island Row. By beautiful salon suite, I mean CLEAN... I mean INTIMATE. It is literally just you and her which is awesome because then you can spill all the tea you want to her while she slays your brows. My first visit was for my birthday in September, Nicole made me fill out an informational questionnaire, asking me questions about my brows, which made me super happy. Nicole listened attentively to what I wanted to achieve with my brows and she also was very honest. By honest, I mean, she explained what she could do, what would look good, and what should not be done. Nicole will not perform a service that will diminish the integrity of her business and that will harm you and end up jacked in long run. All in all, Nicole is amazing. Everyone knows this thats why her online scheduling is always full and booked up - so book in advance ladies. *Nicole's price point is moderate compared to nail salons and what she provides (waxing, tweezing, cool press, tint). First, let me say I didn't just get my eyebrows done, I had an experience!! As I walked in, the room was clean and smelled so good. The vibe was calm and zen. Nicole was knowledgeable and professional from beginning to end. The waxing was painless and had me wondering what the hell they were doing to me at the nail salons!? I got a wax and tint. My brows were growing out but I still had sparse areas. Once Nicole was done I was really shocked at how awesome (and natural) they looked!! I normally take about 15 mins in the morning to fill in, conceal, blah blah blah....Now, I can go without doing all that. Then, after my wax & tint , she gave me this amazing brow massage! Newly transplant from California, I was really hesitant in going to just anyone. I love my brows and am really anal about keeping them full and shaped. After looking through Nicole's previous reviews I decided to give it a shot. The online scheduling system was easy and efficient and she is right off the metro station which is really convenient. Nicole really listened to want I wanted. The waxing was painless and she really took her time. I also got the Under Eye Collagen Mask (after not enough sleep the night before) and I noticed the difference. She made my brows look even fuller and applied the tint (which is included for first time clients). Bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. My brows looked perfect after. Def will be going back! So i got a virgin brazilian and vajacial earlier this morning. So upon arriving I was very nervous but i walked through and she was very down to earth. She was informative throughout every process that she did and was also very detailed when i meant i wanted it as bare as can be. Let me just start off by saying I live in Atlanta but I was in DC for a family event and had previously heard about Nicole Alexis and her superb eyebrow services. I knew of my trip a month before so I let my eyebrows grow out so she could fix them; they were over arched and just a hot mess. I saw her work via her Instagram page @nicolealexis and was very excited to make an appointment once I got to DC and knew my schedule for the week of events. I called to make an appointment but she was booked up so I told her I came from ATL and heard about her and really wanted to get my brows done by her. By the grace of God she fit me into her schedule and I was BLESSED by her expert hands. I got my brows waxed and tinted and they were amazing!
