My mother and I have been going to Sharnika of Restoration Beauty Spa for a little over a year now, and we've both seen significant improvements in our skin. I have been to Sharnika twice now and have had excellent experiences each time! The first time I went I had a 60 minute facial. Sharnika discussed my skin concerns with me before hand and tailored the facial to address them. She suggested I return in 3 or so months. In that time my skin changed drastically! I went back to work and spent the majority of my day wearing masks, causing disruption to my skin barrier. Additionally I started electrolysis which has revealed hyperpigmentation around my jaw line. When I returned to Sharnika she reexamines my skin and discussed options. She was upfront with her pricing and gave me some time to think over what was feasible for me. Both services were great, leaving my skin glowing and healthy. I appreciate her attention to detail and will be following her recommendations. Today was my first visit to Restoration Beauty Spa, for a SkinRevival facial, and I was so impressed with the service I received, and the result so far. Sharnika let me know what she was doing through every step of the process, and really took her time and did a thorough job with each step. I found Sharnika at Restoration Beauty Spa through a google search for microdermabrasion treatments. I was sold with the before and after pictures posted online. The spa is located in downtown Silver Spring in a building with multiple salon suites. There is a parking garage which is free with validation. She met me at the door and escorted me to her area. There was a small wait because she stated that she thoroughly sanitizes between clients, which I greatly appreciated. I also loved that she was double masked and wore a face shield. I felt extra safe. The suite was quiet. The service was comfortable and relaxing. There was light music playing in the background and her and I opted to converse during my services which I enjoyed. Fast forward... my skin looks beautifully refreshed & hydrated. I also got a wax and appreciated how gentle she was because I've had very uncomfortable waxing experiences in the past. I found Sharnika on yelp several years ago, and this is now the only place where I get facials. I just do the basic facial and find it very relaxing and love how my skin feels after. Sharnika is so nice and I can tell she knows what she's doing. I'm always nervous about getting my eyebrows waxed, but decided to go for it today since I know she does a great job with facials. Shar was so friendly and is the best esthetician I've seen to date. She's knowledgeable and skilled. She bases her recommendations around your skin and not selling products- best thing you could get in an esthetician is honesty and trust! My skin looks great and feels great after going to see her.
