When the team arrived, Shadira and Lulu started loudly talking amongst themselves and were so loud, our bridal party could barely talk over the two stylists that arrived. It seemed like it was a social event for the stylists, instead of for our bridal party. They then even rudely and loudly commented about how the vibe was "boring" and we should play better music.... We found this very unprofessional. When we were showing photos of how we wanted the makeup look to be, we repeatedly asked Lulu for less makeup because we didn't want any heavy foundation or contouring. It seemed like the makeup artist had "one mode". I walked by at one point and politely asked if we'd be able to tone down the makeup and the artist shockingly said "I don't like it when people get up in my space." The final look was then overly heavy and explicitly not what we had asked for / provided photos of. Overall, waste of money - we would have been better off doing the makeup ourselves, especially since they didn't listen to what we wanted & changed the atmosphere so materially.

I have looked into permanent makeup, especially microblading for a while but was always nervous about the technique. When I was introduced to ombré brows and how it was explained to me made me very comfortable and confident it was the choice I wanted to make for my brows. Pros: - Pain is minimal (1-2/10) - Procedure is comfortable - Results look very natural - After-care is straightforward and easy to follow - Healing time and process were painless and brief - Results last a long time - Waking up with perfectly traced and filled brows saves me a lot of time in the morning. Cons: Why didn't I come across this sooner? Nina is a very talented artist (I honestly think that you need to be an artist to work on people's eyebrows). Her salon is beautiful and welcoming.
