Some highlights: 1) I emailed her on Tuesday and my pics were on Sunday. Not only did she give me an appointment on such short notice, she is also 39 weeks pregnant! I couldn't believe she was willing to do my makeup the weekend before her baby is due. She is so passionate about her job and truly cares about her clients, even if she's never met you before. 2) I never wear makeup so I was pretty nervous about how it would turn out. Addi took time to listen to what I was looking for and we talked about some of my previous (bad) experiences with makeup so that she also knew what I didn't want. Throughout the session, she continuously asked me how I felt and always made sure I was comfortable with the way it looked. Addi is the perfect makeup artist for women who don't usually get their makeup done or are a bit nervous about wearing full makeup. 3) Her studio is adorable, really clean and organized, and all her products are top of the line. 4) She is so sweet and really easy to talk to. My makeup, including eye lashes, took a little over an hour but the time flew by because we were chatting away. She even offered to run into her house and get me an umbrella since it was pouring out. Addi is truly an incredible makeup artist, and I left feeling comfortable in my own skin. When it seemed like there could be a way forward, I asked to see a copy of her contract, and she got upset with me for asking. She then told me she would refuse to work with anything "subpar" (her word) and would not work with me. Lowest moment of planning my wedding. (For the record, she was well within my budget so this was not about the cost, and I found a much better makeup artist to work with me instead.)

She did a great job with there hair and their hair types are both so different. One granddaughter has thick wavy hair and my other granddaughter has long, but thinner hair. Paula washed both girls hair. Then, she dried their hair before cutting. After she cut the hair, she textures the hair, and then styles it. My daughter goes to Paula for her hair too. The salon is decorated in purple and sparkles. Purple is my favorite color, so I loved the decor. Paula and her staff couldn't be any sweeter. She has 5 dogs and their pictures are artfully displayed in the salon. I thought the prices were very fair and reasonable. The girls looked beautiful and were very happy with their hairstyles.
