~ LASHES REVIEW ~ So…read moreas previously mentioned, I caved and got megavolume lash extensions here. Now I'm addicted and have to get them forever. It's a blessing and a curse. My first lashes appointment was with Fernanda and they looked great, but they all fell out when I went on vacation and my face was assaulted by the wind and salt water of the Pacific - I also didn't know you have to wash them to prevent oily buildup, so yeah. I came back two weeks later with literally no extensions left and had to pay for a full set all over again rather than a touch-up. I do wish they had told me about needing to wash them, because I really wasn't provided with the full aftercare instructions the first time I got them. But, now I know. They sell a special foam wash and gentle applicator for the soap here, which I recommend purchasing. My second session was with Viktoriia, who is absolutely incredible. Mynx & Inks is definitely out of the way if you live in DC, but it's worth it for the fair pricing and amazing quality.

I've finally found a new doctor that uses a different kind of laser and have some hope. I was lied to and gaslighted by her. Nancy is great! She provided me THE BEST pedicure I have had in a long time…read more However, the ownership needs to bring their technology software into 2026. In fact, they should really get ahead of the game and bring it up to 2027. It is currently stuck in 1995! Let me explain. My 4th grade class gave me a very generous $150.00 gift certificate in January 2026 for Teacher Appreciation Day. But after a mani/pedi in April and a pedicure this morning, I have now paid $73.00 out of pocket. How, you ask? Yes, it actually stymies me, too. Well, first, I had to leave a $45.00 deposit when I made the appointment online. After receiving the service, I was charged the full amount for a mani/pedi on my gift certificate. Why, you ask? Because they "forgot" that I used my own credit card for a deposit. My gift certificate amount was adjusted online on their end. Okay, so they have access to my gift certificate on their end. No problem. Makes total sense! Fast forward to this morning. After leaving a $9.00 deposit when I made my appointment online, I was charged $28.00 for the pedicure I had this morning. Since they were able to access my account online back in April, I believe they would be able to access it this morning to charge me the $28.00 I owed for the pedicure. Nope! I was told they needed the actual gift certificate, or the certificate number. Of course, I did not have it with me. A small notebook was pushed towards me with the suggestion, "You can look through this to find the number of your gift certificate." Really?!? As if!!! So, as it stands now, my online account shows a higher amount than the certificate in my possession, which was signed by "Yada" or "Yoda" (the signature is illegible, but it is dated April 10th). Given my experience with the outfit after two unsuccessful visits, who are they going to believe? My online account, which they seem able to access only when it's to their advantage, or the physical gift certificate, which shows a smaller balance than my online account, which they are now mysteriously unable to access. Get it together, Eva Lash! Also, the Yelp website says I'm San Franciso. I'm now. Never been there. This is for the Bethesda Eva Lash location.

She's constantly taking new courses, and studying new techniques to grow her business. She's patient, knowledgeable, and after 4-5 years of seeing her I don't trust anyone else with my face and skincare recommendations. Thank you, Crystal!! I've been seeing Crystal for about a year now. I get so many compliments on my lashes - they look natural enough, but I don't wear any makeup except foundation so they really stand out. She's amazing and I refuse to see anyone else. Her new space is so comforting that I almost want to keep my eyes open while my lashes are being done :) now that she's in Rockville, it's not exactly an easy commute for me (living in Lake Ridge, VA), but she's so worth the extra miles. I trust her completely with my face, so I plan on getting my brows microbladed by her as well. So excited for that!
