As I was getting ready to attend an event this weekend, I realized how much I owe to Kevan and her amazing talents. I hardly wore makeup and when I did, it was extremely minimal. I am now confident in applying makeup whether I am just going to work or attending a special event all thanks to Kevan and her talents. Kevan is just simply amazing to work with. She is always extremely professional, really listens to what her clients want and need, knows about all different skin types, best products to use depending on the skin type & look that you want, and has a wonderful and calming personality that is comforting and reassuring to her clients. I was lucky enough to find Kevan through a referral from a good friend. I was having nightmares about finding someone to do my makeup for my wedding because I certainly knew I could not do it myself. Air brush, traditional makeup, I had no idea, all I knew was that I wanted naturally, glamorous look where the makeup would last all day and night without looking like my face was plastered on and I still looked like me. My friend showed me pictures of her sister 11 hours into her own wedding and I knew instantly that I had to talk to Kevan! Kevan and I met for my trial, we discussed the look I was going for, she made me comfortable enough to try false lashes - which I now use for all special events! She was even kind enough to assess my meager makeup case and make recommendations to fill in what I would need to achieve simple everyday looks on my own. From the trial, Kevan has assisted me with several special events where she achieved a flawless look appropriate for each event. The events included my engagement photo shoot (she even taught me how to alter the makeup to match my wardrobe change during the shoot), holiday formal, my own wedding & my attendants, as well as for another wedding that I was in. With each event I became so comfortable with Kevan's work that by the last event when she asked what I wanted, with confidence I said "I am all yours - I trust you completely, do want you think is best!" and it really was another amazing look that lasted all day and night. Kevan is absolutely the best choice I made for this wedding. Not only did she make me look and feel stunning, she also made my mother look gorgeous. And trust me when I say, my mom is not an easy woman to please. Kevan was so sweet and has an incredible personality. Though she could have been just a vendor I had hired, I would actually consider her to be a great friend now. When I asked about a touch up kit, Kevan offered to meet me at a mall near where I live. We met at MAC and she helped me to pick out lipsticks and other things at a great price. This little trip was so fun and made me feel even more excited about our upcoming wedding. On the day of the wedding, Kevan was on time. She made me look so, so incredible. (I'll probably never look that good again.) Everyone told me that my make up was gorgeous. People commented that I looked like a porcelain doll and that my skin looked flawless. (My skin isn't actually flawless. Kevan is just magical.) Kevan really went above and beyond for me and she made my wedding day extra special. I would recommend Kevan above all other make up artists to anyone who wants to look and feel beautiful. Kevan did an excellent job for my wedding day make-up! I am glad I got to choose her . I really got lucky with Kevan as my entire wedding planning had to be done within three weeks and I found Kevan two days before my event! She was very professional and showed up at the venue right on time! My bridal party was supposed to be at the house from early morning but for some unavoidable circumstances they were delayed and so was I. However, Kevan stuck around and did her best to give me my desired look! She even agreed to tweak my lipstick color at the last minute from what I had done during my trial. I feel it is a huge day for the bride and as long as a make-up artist can, they should be willing and open to making some tweaks to the look if the bride so desires after she puts on or stands next to that dress. I was highly satisfied with my makeup. In fact, I have been trying to go back to her to get my make-up done for a photoshoot. Unfortunately, she is always booked. read more

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing, can't say that enough! Kevan did both mine and my daughter's makeup for her wedding. Five minutes into the trial, we both knew Kevan would be our makeup artist. On the wedding day everything was easy, fun and relaxed yet professional. The outside wedding was on a hot and humid July afternoon. We asked Kevan to stay during for the pictures after the ceremony do any touch ups if needed. The only thing needed was lipstick touch ups. The makeup looked as good at the end of the night as when it was applied 8 hours earlier. We felt beautiful. Besides being a great makeup artist she is a kind and wonderful person. We had a death the next day of a member in the wedding party. She sent us a sympathy card and waited for settling up the final bill. I highly recommend working with Kevan D'Damery. She is very responsive and professional. She was wonderful in accommodating me on short notice and In my personal experience, Kevan is awesome. She was so responsive and professional throughout the whole process. She was wonderful for accommodating me within 7 days of my event! I was so glad to have her do my makeup and my daughters for her wedding.She was the first one to help her calm her nerves for the day. Her calming and funny personality was the thing Erika needed. We laughed, listened to music and went over old times and it made it a great experience. Kevan was great! She did baby shower makeup for me (mommy to be) and my mother. Neither of us usually get our makeup professionally done and both were nervous about looking "too overdid." Kevan was great about listening to our concerns and changing things when we weren't comfortable with them. I felt so relaxed with her. I even had a trial makeup run before the actual day. Kevan is an amazing makeup artist!! Not only did she do a fantastic job on everyone's makeup for my wedding (everyone looked GORGEOUS), but she was also just fun to be around--she had a great attitude, made great conversation with everyone, and really cared if we were happy with her work. She even offered to drive out to my venue later in the day if I needed a touch-up...but I didn't, because the makeup stayed on perfectly all day and night. Kevan does a lovely job! The entire session took about 45 min. She is open to the style you are looking for. Kevan was very gentle with my eyes and was patient with me since I had never worn artificial eyelashes! She is very knowledgeable about makeup and gave me a few pointers! The result was amazing!
