What I appreciated most was Karick's punctuality, professionalism, and honesty. He didn't try to scare me into purchasing services I didn't need, oversell me, or present me with some astronomical package just because I was clearly anxious about having an animal in my ductwork. That kind of integrity goes a long way with me. And Karick, if you happen to see this, mystery solved: it was a bat! It eventually made its way through the vent and, unfortunately, died in my bathroom sink. To me, this is what good business looks like. The bad: we asked the technician to not use glue traps, and asked if any were used around the house. He said no, and said they were spring traps only. Not only did he set glue traps and several locations around the house, because he didn't disclose the use, he didn't disclose where the traps were set, so we have had to hunt around the house ourselves to remove them. We personally don't like using glue traps as they are inhumane and stated our preference for spring traps instead. Furthermore, today I found a centipede and one of the areas where he said at he sprayed, which as of this writing is less than 2 weeks after the service.

What a horrible experience with Orkin!…read more I signed up for service at several of my properties in January 2020 before the Covid restrictions happened. I received phone calls from field managers when I chose an attic treatment that cost a little over $3K. I got calls from technicians before they would come out to treat any of my properties. Covid happened and of course non essential services stopped. I didn't get any notice from Orkin that - they were classified as "essential." As a result I missed ONE PAYMENT of $97 dollars. When I reached out, I kept getting connected to the same rude young lady named Bayyinah. To make a long story short they reached out to my tenants and not me as they did the one service (outside of the house) I failed to pay for... Without speaking directly to me, they put that $97 dollar bill into COLLECTIONS. I'm STILL getting calls from collections after I paid the bill. I regret giving them my business. I wanted to honor the agreement and tried to switch branches from DC to Waldorf but they told me I had to start a new contract and treated me like I was delinquent thousands of dollars.

She texted him that evening to let him know that she did hear something and Scott was out the next morning to collect the rodents and dispose of them for her. He then placed more traps, etc., with the same advisement, prior to sealing the hole. His assistant came by again today to check and, finding no rodent activity, patched the entry and sealed it. We were very impressed and appreciative of the expeditious service provided by Plus 1, as well as by the extremely affordable cost.
