They did some work and said I wouldn't have a problem - the very next day we started seeing evidence of mouse activity. THEY ACTUALLY CREATED ACCESS FOR MICE THAT HADN'T EXISTED BEFORE and charged me $275! I spent a week and a half trying to reach them, got a second opinion from another company that in writing and for free verified many access points were left exposed. In trying to get my money back, Victor, the owner, continued to give me the run around - and still (as of today) hasn't issued the refund he promised. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It's a scam.

Finding Victor and Private Pest Detectives is SUCH A BLESSING. Private Pest Detectives know what they're doing! Victor is professional, respectful, kind, fair in his pricing, honest and generous. On the first visit he did exclusion work to seal off all entry points. The last company didn't use the right materials so he had to undo their mess. On the next visit he did a dusting to prevent mice in the walls outside my unit. After over 1 year of being mice free, I saw one a few days ago coming from the bathroom into the bedroom. Today Victor found a small hole in between the bathtub & pipes. Victor sealed it up. I trust there will not be any more mice. I highly recommend Victor & Private Pest Detective. A few years ago I did a lot of research to find exterminators who knew what to do. And what I found is most don't know how to help. Victor & Private Pest Detectives really do. And they're respectful & great to work with, very reasonably priced!! Thank you Victor. He's not only great at getting rid of mice, he's excellent!! What a relief! No more mice! EXCELLENT!!!

Inclusive of the original price, on multiple occasions, Rick retreated problem areas, effectively eradicating the issues. Highly recommended.

I was really impressed with my experience with AR1 group. The woman who answered the phone when I…read morerequested an appointment was polite and friendly got me an appointment in a day and a half. I was shocked when Anthony arrived on time. Maybe it's just me but so often when I call a service provider they are wide of the mark for timeliness, for pest control, appliance repair, HVAC techs, what have you. Anthony was right on time and wore his booties. He checked out the situation and told me what I did and didn't need. Because my issues are coming from the kitchen and my kitchen is being remodeled in two weeks, he recommended to do nothing at this time and explained to me why I saw the mouse I did, that he was acting erratic because he encountered some of the rat poison and it messed him up and he is probably going off to die now, which felt reassuring. He didn't charge me anything for coming, which I'm always surprised and impressed with. Anthony is super friendly and personable, I never know if I will feel uncomfortable having a male tech come to the house when my boyfriend isn't home, but he just seems like a nice normal man you can easily have a conversation with. I pray to never ever need pest control services again, but I will call Anthony if I do, and I recommend you do the same.

Moving to the sorta-country has exposed me to insects that I didn't even know existed…read more I'm talkin creepy crawlies on a Jurassic scale. Bugs so big that they've made me afraid to step out of my home. I'm a city girl and I am just not used to this... ...And I wasn't about to get used to this either, so I hopped on Yelp to gather some quotes for some much needed pest control services. Chris from First Gen was one of the first to respond, and he was by far the most professional. He was able to squeeze me in for a next day consultation and he was both incredibly personable and wonderfully professional the whole time. During our appointment, I didn't feel like I was being sold on anything. Instead of trying to pressure me into one solution or another, he took the time to ask informed questions and get a better understanding of my needs and concerns, before making any recommendations. I walked him through the areas of my property where I was seeing the most activity and he was able to take my vague descriptions to help me identify exactly what I was seeing (because I swear some of these bugs I've never seen before in my life. There must be some new ones out here!). He then developed a customized treatment plan for how to address these particular pests, and keep them away so that I can enjoy my patio, my yard, and ultimately my property with a greater degree of comfort and ease. We scheduled my first appointment for the day after our consultation. He was very mindful and respectful of my property, as well as mindful not to disrupt my workday (since I work from home) as he perform the treatments. The cost of the services was more than fair, especially given how thorough he was with the treatments... and how please I am with the results. Chris was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly, as well as explain every product he used (He even had eco-friendly pest control products!), what it was used for, and what I could expect in the coming days and weeks. At the end of the appointment, I felt like I had a good understanding of what services were performed, which products were intended to treat which problem, and what to expect from future appointments. So far, things have been just as Chris described. I've seen exponentially less creepy crawlies (most of the ones I have seen have been dead, allowing me to sweep them into the grass) and the mosquito activity has plummeted dramatically. I feel much more comfortable not only being able to go outside again, but also to have friends and family over to hang out in the yard without having to worry about us being attacked by the worst that nature has to offer. Thanks Chris! I'll see you at our next appointment.

Review for Lanes Termite Service Incorporated - 5 Stars…read more I cannot say enough good things about Lanes Termite Service Incorporated. This family-owned business has truly earned my deepest respect and highest recommendation. We recently experienced something terrifying--a massive swarm of flying termites at our front door. I'm talking thousands of them, buzzing around the entrance and creeping into the stairwell of our split-level home. I was absolutely shaken and didn't know what to do. I called Lanes Termite, and to my absolute relief, they were at our home in under an hour. Their professionalism, urgency, and kind demeanor instantly helped calm my nerves. They got straight to work without hesitation and handled the infestation with confidence and expertise--all for a very fair price. This isn't the first time Lanes has helped us--they previously handled a squirrel problem in our attic with the same care and professionalism. But this termite swarm had me truly panicked, and their quick response was nothing short of a blessing. What I love most about this company is that they've been serving families for over 40 years, and it shows. They bring not just experience, but a personal, trustworthy touch that's rare these days. You can tell they genuinely care. If you're looking for pest control you can trust with your home and peace of mind, look no further. Lanes Termite Service Incorporated is the absolute best. I would give them ten stars if I could!
