PestNOW?...not so much. PestEventually sounds more accurate. This company was recommended by 2 realtors so i am thinking it is a good option. The pest guy no called, no showed on my appointment after calling me after he was an hour late to tell me not to worry, he is on his way. When i finally called the office (no one called me to rectify the situation) they told me they could send someone out today between 930-5pm. The office closes at 5pm, so if dude no shows again there is no one to call. After I requested to speak to a manager I was cold transfered to voicemail with no name and no recording feature. I have 4 different people coming monthly( 3 4 months ),to my house, every visit didn't last more then 10 minutes. they put mouse trap that you can buy online and install yourself. I have been a customer since 8/23/23; having found them on Yelp. We had a man out and all he did was put black traps down, walked around my house and billed me $165.00. I called back and told the representative that our cat killed another mouse and also mentioned I am not happy with the service. They suggested I have someone out which I did 2/5/2024 and same deal put the black boxes down and that is all. Both trips done in 30 mins or less. Then I agreed to give them another chance and they did a quarterly checkup and they did the same thing and charged me $95.00. I recently opened the one small black box in the kitchen and found the poison had plastic around it and none of the traps caught anything.. So I called in again and they were to send a man about between 12-2 4/10/24 only to receive all call that he was running late and would be at our at 3. Well 3 comes and goes and I called him and suggested we can do it Thursday 4/11/24 in the 12-2 slot. On 4/11/24 I get a call at 10 and he is "available now" and wants to come over . I suggested at 12 as we had people still asleep. Well 12 came and went and I called the office and they tell me it is 12-2 and that is not what the tech and I talked about. Suffice it to say I have had it with this company. This has been a half-baked pile of worms from the git go and I even asked the techs do I have mice infestation and was told twice NO. I have no confidence in them and find others actually guarantee their work and don't just take your money and split. If feel totally ripped off. I paid money and still evidence of mice. read more

We inherited a Pestnow contract when we bought our house so decided to continue with an additional year of service. We unfortunately experienced issues that ultimately led us to not renew: - Pestnow offered financing from Greensky for a large project, which the inspector/coordinator insisted would not be a hard credit pull - turns out it absolutely was. The contractors we've spoken with since were appalled that this was handled the way it was, as Greensky apparently is well known for using hard pulls and anyone offering their services should know that. - Part of our annual subscription included quarterly treatments. However, we were never notified of service dates and for 3 out of 4 treatments were surprised by Pestnow showing up and were either unavailable or unable to do the full treatment. We asked every time to be notified of the next visit and never were. Everyone we've spoken with at Pestnow has been nice, but in practice we've had to deal with unwanted credit pulls and no improvement or follow-through on the issue with the inspections. It wouldn't be worth it to continue paying for service. read more

So this rating is based on communication. I have not received their service because the communication via the yelp app was so bad. Took hours to get a response and promised a tech could go out the next morning but wouldn't respond back until the next afternoon. This happened 3 times in a row so I just cancelled the request. If the communication is this poor now, doesn't make me comfortable about going with them. Tried to call in and was told I should finish my appointment in the app because they couldn't find my info. This was after 2 days of back and forth in the app and my info still wasn't in their system. They are affordable, but would recommend calling. I wanted to give a review and kudos to Will C. and his ability to show empathy and care for my situation. I am currently with child and Will came to treat the home as we are in the season transition. Well, he was very knowledgeable and proceeded to act. Citing all the risks and my removal from the home immediately before he can treat my property. From my knowledge from when I last had the home treated, the rep then did not have me leave the home before treatment and I'm just happy Will stuck with protocol and informed me of the disclosure before performing his duties. I hope that everyone employed can be as attentive and on protocol as he has clearly shown us. I was able to assess each floor and he was able to treat as needed. When I left the home as instructed, he took charge and treated the outside of my home, front and back, and closed the gate back to secure my property. But if I had to choose, I would choose him every time. I appreciate dedicated workers with empathy and care for consumers. His friendly nature and ability to be professional is quite refreshing and applaudable. I will make sure to always keep him on my route as he is someone that I prefer to work with. I had pestnow come for termite inspection and treatment. They said the treatment will be good for at least 5-7 years. So I paid around 1000 bucks for the treatment. After treatment around 3 months I saw flying termites again. And I called just to get the reply it's normal. Around 12 months I saw termites body on ground again. They said they will come to fix it. And then they asked me to buy warrenty to continue the service. Unfortunately if I don't buy the warrenty, if the termites come again. They have nothing to do with it. The previous owners of the house used pestnow for termite and hornet problems (the huge hornet nest is still in the attic crawl space by the way) and I stayed with them for quarterly pest control for almost 6 years. They are inconsistent. If all you need is exterior spray for keep bugs out they are ok. Sometimes they brushed off cobwebs, sometimes they didn't. Sometimes they sprayed the deck, sometimes they didn't. I had a hornets nest on the deck. I had to call multiple times before a tech actually believed me and removed it. I have mice inside of my house. Ive had to ask them multiple times to check and refill their bait stations. I have spent my own money on traps and poison. The last time the dispatcher said "you are going to have mice in your house. It happens." Sir? No. Unacceptable. Three different techs did little to nothing to assist. Despite my requests (and it being part of the service I pay for!) only one looked for entry points to seal them. They left bait stations open with no bait inside. Me: this is where I have seen mice. And have cleaned droppings. 3rd Tech: those droppings must have been old. I canceled the service. They didn't even ask why. I wish I had left sooner. (Senate termite and pest control has been supremely more proactive and helpful. They do not believe I should just live with mice in my home...) read more

We made the cardinal mistake of trying to DIY our roach problem. I wish we'd called Pestnow sooner. At first we did normal quarterly treatments, but the infestation was stubborn, so at their recommendation they began coming monthly, and then every 2 weeks. This helped but progress plateau'd, so they also performed a fogger machine treatment. We did have to vacate for a day, but it was worth it, problems appears to be solved (almost 2 months now with no more signs of bugs). They were committed and professional throughout. The more frequent treatments were included in the regular warranty service agreement. They really got us to solution - not just checking a box, but actually solving the problem - and we are very grateful. read more

I have been with Pestnow for 5 years, with no issues. Recently, I requested a termite inspection to review a previous issue and the inspector suggested we had issues with our insulation. He also said there was old mice activity/droppings that could result in an issue with air quality. We asked for an itemized quote to see what we could fix ourselves, while Pestnow managed the rest. The inspector said they only provide insulation repair and sanitation services as a packaged deal totaling $4000. We told the inspector we'd check with other companies to see if they offered better quotes. Three insultation/pest companies came to our home and reviewed our insulation. All three companies said they saw no issue with our insulation. They also said the previous mouse activity/droppings posed no health concern to our family. One of the companies conducted an air quality assessment of the entire house and reported no issues. Ultimately, I feel like the inspector tried to hustle us and I wouldn't be surprised if he saw our nursey and used our pregnancy to suggest "air quality" issues to scare us into spending $4000, unnecessarily. I will be cancelling all services with Pestnow. read more

I recently used Pestnow for a termite inspection. The inspector came within the scheduled time window. He performed the inspection of the home, however, he did not inspect the shed in the yard. When he was alerted to this missed spot, he inspected it and found presence of termite. The inspector would've missed it and we would've been given an incomplete termite inspection report if we did not request him to inspect it. This was a preventable oversight. Pestnow could have trained inspectors better to cover structures in the yard. Will probably use another company for future termite inspection. read more

Be careful if this company did the Termite inspection when you purchased your home. They claimed on their website that they warranty the inspection for a year, but if termite indeed happened within a year, they would never cover the treatment. That's what happened to us. We purchased our home last July, and earlier last week we saw some 'winged ants' around the front door. I called the company and a guy named Robert came. He is unprofessional and rude - he didn't look inside the basement or garage. He didn't check around the house either. He just said that if you saw it, it's termite, and you need to treat it. I asked given it's within a year, will the warranty cover the treatment cost. He said firm no and left. We then asked another two companies to inspect and both of them did a thorough inspection - check basement, garage, deck for any sign of termite damage and explain to me how to identify it. Very professional. And they informed me that I should call PestNow to check if they cover the treatment cost since it's within a year. It's the industry standard for termite company. As such, today I called PestNow again - they still claimed termite treatment is not covered. I said it's not what their website says (which says clearly that 'If there are problems we fix them, if not we warranty the inspection for a year'), then the customer representative transferred me to Robert (the guy who did the inspection) - he still claimed that they will not cover the cost and saying this is non-sense. He never had anyone ask this question before. I guess PestNow put that warranty statement on the website just for marketing purpose, and they would never cover the cost even it happened within a year. Anyway, be careful with this company! Get a written statement about what they will cover by the warranty and be specific. read more
