They confirmed that we have wasps but couldn't identify where they were coming into the house from (after I paid almost $90 for an inspection). The suggestion was to let the problem get worse (ie let more wasps in the house) and they will come back and make a recommendation. I asked to speak to a manager to see if this is standard protocol but I was not allowed to speak to anyone. I'm not satisfied with this answer and hope no one gets stunned. I would have given one star but they said the next time they come back the service (not the treatment) will be free. I don't know anything about infestations but this seems irregular. read more

Bees! Carpenter bees! Burrowing huge holes in my custom, 2nd story deck. If left alone, they would make the structure unsafe causing a fortune in damage. I needed this solved, ASAP. I made several calls to local pest control operators in the area. Some didn't pick up, others asked for a credit card to secure a several hundred dollar deposit before anyone even shows up! Highly recommend District Elite Pest Management. We had an issue with ants in our home last summer. It was easy and quick to schedule an appointment and consultation. They treated our baseboards throughout the house with pet-safe chemicals. A year on, we are ant (and every other type of bug) free. I went with them because I had read recommendations for them on my local neighborhood list serve. A big point was that they may seem slightly more expensive than other services, but they make up for that in that they actually take care of the issue for the long haul rather than needing multiple follow up appointments. Customer service 10/10! One of my tenants said that they were hearing "animals" in the walls so I contacted District Elite and it was very easy to make an appointment! Quick response time and they came out the next day. They found where a few small birds had been getting into the house/walls and were able to get the birds out and seal the vent. Worth it! read more

We called re our ant problem. An appointment was made to assess the problem and recommend treatment. Since they couldn't come right away, we got some over the counter product to help in the meantime. By the time, David, the technician, arrived the ants were pretty much eradicated. But he did a very thorough job inspecting to find the possible origin of the problem and made recommendations based on what he found. He was honest and did not try to sell us something we didn't need. But he also looked at the full picture and made suggestions re what to do and not to do to ensure the problem did not recur, which included checking in with them in a week. David was very thorough and professional. Ironically, he was the same technician who had helped us with a roach problem a year ago and was equally helpful and professional then. read more

These guys are great! A couple of years ago we unfortunately noticed some mouse droppings. Called District Elite and they truly helped us get to the bottom of the issue by identifying entry points. Where do I start? I was mortified to wake up and hearing a live mouse in a glue trap (that I didn't know existed) under my refrigerator on random Thursday morning. I would then want to die when I found another mouse 2 days later. I was horrified by the building's pest control response, and I decided to call District Elite Pest Management for help. I was relieved that I could get an appointment so quickly, immediacy was critical. I live in a condo building and the more I talked to my neighbors the more horrified I became. Christian came to my place for the initial assessment, he called me when he was about 15 minutes away, and was professional and prepared. He inspected my place and gave me a run down of what he would do to address my mouse problem and let me know what to expect. Me being me, I wanted the full package. He explained everything he did, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel like I was overreacting. He made scheduling super easy. When he came to essentially mouse proof my place he was again communicative about his arrival time, friendly, and professional. I am a single woman living alone and I felt super comfortable having him in my place. I have been a customer with District Elite and getting routine maintenance for 3 years. However, I saw mouse droppings in my kitchen. Randy came for an inspection and turns out it was actually rats!!! Randy was able to start the service that day and came back a week later to seal holes. He found that the rats were coming in through from a really intricate place in my kitchen. I'm not even sure how he saw that!! He also checked throughout my entire home to make sure there were no additional points of entry. Anyways, since then, I have not seen any droppings. Even though the service has a warranty, I added a rodent service to my current monthly maintenance for extra protection. Strange to admit in a public forum (but if you are reading this, you probably also need their services), but the mice had TAKEN OVER my house. It was so gross. I was doing what I could to tackle the issue but I was losing the war very quickly. I had to act fast. I priced the big names, as well, but the price tags were crazy high. These guys had a VERY competitive rate, are a local business, and also had one of the best guarantees I could find, especially for the price!
