Elliot L.

This review is for Timothy Marfori at Private Collection. Tim was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We looked at a 997.2 Carerra, 991.1 Carerra S and a 991.2 Carerra, Tim knew about all of them. What most impressed me about Tim was his overall demeanor, ability to connect on a personal level and not be a "used car salesman". During one of the test drives we talked about his recent trip to Italy and he took the time afterwards to send me some places he recommended for my wife and I's upcoming trip. I will definitely be going back, specifically because of the experience I had with Tim!

This is the screen I get when trying to access the Navi. No it's not searching it's location. thanks again for a defective car Judith
Tim I.

I'll preface this review by saying this is strictly from my perspective and I can't vouche for anyone else's experience. Im speaking on my experience with one employee specifically who has the leverage and ability to make things right and be ethical- Judith Barrera I inquired about a 2012 Fisker Karma. The beauty of it is I already owned one before..I knew exactly what to ask before hand. Daniel, their sales guy was as helpful as he could be and I appreciate him trying to get the info I asked about. They couldn't give me details on specifics at the time of inquiry..and would constantly refer to the "carfax" report. First Fail. Nowwwww we can talk about price. We originally agreed to a price OTD INCLUDING shipping and a technician check up at the local Karma facility. I was VERY happy about that.. I'm thinking it's allll good right? Welp...a few hrs after confirming the original deal, I get a call and they "can't" agree to pay for a technician (due to CA Law apparently) and I as the prospective buyer would have to pay it outta pocket. Second fail. So now I have my CU ready to fund and they can't send the car till payment is received and they are taking forever to send Reg on their end to complete the transaction. Now in good faith, they ship the car to me anyways...and ya know what. I appreciate that. I really do. That's dope. That's why you get 1 star Now for the not so dope- As soon as I pick up the car from the courier...like as soon as I turn it on, the Navi DOES NOT work. All the other features do. But the Navi is down. So is this why you couldn't get a technician to look it over? cuz you knew or suspected something was wrong? Usually when you sell a car...you "advertise" heated Seats, AC, Bluetooth, navigation, yada yada. And you know what- Navigation WAS offered per their online advertisement. Not one time did they say or mention anything wrong with it..and it's very unlikely that it worked before it left the showroom and when I received it, it "magically stopped". So I immediately took it to my official Fisker technician in the Bay Area "Pat's Garage". Upon reviewing and scanning, it's more than a software update (approx $3-500) to POTENTIALLY get it back working. It's a 50/50 shot it'll work. If it doesn't it's a $2500 job (not including labor). So I reach out and Judith responds. I can tell she's aggravated as she feels she did me a favor- sold it at asking price including shipping, shipping without receipt of payment, etc.. I ask for her to make it right...either pay to have the actual work done to repair orrrrr reduce my loan by the cost amount- cuz I'll pay for it...so it can be AS ADVERTISED. She told me it wasn't a "safety issue" and they've already made enough provisions to accommodate me apparently. ? Her only recourse was to pick up the car and cancel the transaction cuz apparently I was on her last nerve ensuring I was being sold a car AS ADVERTISED. She hung up quick and fast. Third fail. Really? That's what we're doing? My advice would be to ask specific questions on their cars prior to buying. It may sound rudimentary but asking does the power windows work...the power seat...the AC..the Navi....and all that. And actually test Them prior to purchase. Sounds petty...but like Judith says "if it's not a safety issue" ? I'm not saying their bad people. I'm not saying they haven't sold cars smoothly And everything went good with other clients. I see they have plenty of top notch reviews. Good for you. But not offering concessions for a problem that was clearly misinterpreted cuz it WAS advertised as "included or working" and it's NOT....welllllllll...that's the kind of experience I had with them. I'm not saying the customer is always right. But in this instance, I definitely WASNT wrong Again. Daniel...Great job bro. Judith. Check yourself please! Be honest and ethical in the future!!

My new Tesla at her first "fill up".

I worked with Zed on my purchase and communication over text was flawless. He took the time to make sure I understood the ins and outs of the vehicle and worked with me to get a decent value for my trade-in. Well worth the drive from San Diego for me. If you're in the market for an EV, do yourself a favor and start here first. Tons of cool cars on the lot.

I want to be fair with this review, so I'm going to lay out exactly what happened and let you…read moredecide for yourself. The Good: Zed runs a no-nonsense operation. No pressure tactics, no surprise fees, fair pricing, and a quick and easy transaction. It's refreshing compared to the typical used car dealer experience, and I genuinely appreciated that. The Bad: I drove off the lot and immediately noticed two warning lights on the dash: charging port fault and airbag. You know how cars flash a few lights on startup and they disappear within seconds? That's what I assumed. Besides, you're spending $50K+ on a car and you don't expect to drive away with these active warnings. I simply trusted Zed on that. Both turned out to be real issues. $1,400 paid to fix it. During my inspection, one of the Falcon Wing doors hesitated when opening. Zed said it was probably the sun, shade, or dust interfering. I took his word for it. It wasn't. $650 quote from Tesla. One week later, a steering rack warning appeared. $4,000 quote. Total damage in week one: over $6,000 on top of the purchase price. My Take: I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't know about these issues. But either way, it's clear these cars aren't being thoroughly inspected before they hit the lot. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could, but $6,000+ in repairs within a week makes 4 stars hard to justify. Would I buy from here again? "Maybe..." But next time I'm bringing my own inspector, spending more time on the test drive, and checking every light, every panel, and every moving part myself. Bottom line: Good dealer. Smooth process. But do NOT skip a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Do NOT assume the car is in good condition because you're having a good experience during your time at the dealership.

I am not going to write long review and explaining here to waste people's time and my time…read more all places have good and donw side. no bitching, not back stabbing, or no dung behind the curtain type of place so far. I stop by here frequently. and i tell my networks to do so as well. Cheers

I really wanted and intended to write a five star review of OC Autosource because initially I liked…read morethe owner, Tony Thompson and trusted him. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.

My credit is good, and I had a grand to put down-on a 12 year old car, mind you- but I had a slow month at work, so my checks were smaller than usual. Dude starts talking about a cosigner now, and how we could run my credit but there's no point, blah blah. Why didnt you mention any of this on the phone, days before I wasted time and gas to drive out here? I did have a cosigner, but why pull that on me when I get there? Why wasnt the car pulled out of the "showroom" earlier that day, if we were going to test drive it? Rude, wasted my time and gas, and apparently didnt think they'd sell me a car? Got a 2016 jetta a few days later, with the same mileage for much cheaper, and didn't need a cosigner. Skip this place
