I took it to a mechanic in firestone he said cars from driveline dont usually have anything wrong with them. Going in to look at the car, i didnt think id be able to afford it but nick was able to provide good financing that was affordable. The sales process wasnt pressured and no "what can we do to get you to buy this car today" type of tactics like they use in hardin honda. This place buys salvaged/totaled cars at auctions, throw on a fresh coat of paint and some junk parts and sell to unsuspecting buyers. I just bought an Audi A3 TDI from Nick at Driveline Motors. He was extremely professional and honest with me. I was on the east coast for work and when I returned to the west coast I needed to buy a commuter car. I spoke to Nick multiple times via phone and email and I eventually gave him a deposit over the phone without ever seeing the car in person. When I flew into LA I got a cab to his dealer and saw the car for the first time; it was in better condition than described and for a 4 year old 42,000 mile vehicle it looked brand new. We had been actively searching for my dream car for the past 2 years; a Mercedes SLK. I found one on line with Nick which met all our specfications. The only "problem" we could see was that it had a salvaged title. We spoke with Nick over the phone for nearly 2 hours off and on, at which time he explained the title and backed up his words with emailed documentation. He showed insurance reports and photos. With a reassurance that we had nothing to worry about, we made the almost 2 hour drive to Brea to see Nick and this beautiful red SLK. The car was everything Nick promised and more. He sat down with us and went over all the insurance documentation which made it a salvaged title. Throughout this process, Nick was completely transparent with every detail. He was personable and upbeat without one bit of the high pressure salesman one almost expects in this situation. The only part that i figured would be stressful was the price negotiation and it was not. Nick and my husband came up with a price which was agreed upon quickly without stress. The sales paperwork was simple and not drawn out. The car was washed and gassed up while we finished up. We have now had this beautiful roadster for almost 3 weeks. True to Nick's word, the car is perfect, and even the 40,000 mile service we just had on it proved so. Nick is devious and unprofessional. I came by after seeing how cheap the cars are on his site-- I knew it was too good to be true.
