Service was very friendly. Hostess was very great and the waiter was very nice. Very excellent service. The food was excellent! The salad was great! The steak was even better and the zip sauce with the steak is amazing. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for good food and great ambiance. The live music was a great touch. read more

The American Wagyu made me jizz my pants. Not even joking, took my first bite and asked my wife to excuse me so I could clean myself up down there. Then what do you know, I took my second bite and it happened AGAIN. My balls felt like raisins at this point from nutting twice like that unexpectedly. I didn't have the energy to go fix myself up again, so I just put my napkin over my groin area to cover the stains that were beginning to seep through my Lulu pants. I continued to take bite after bite, still accompanied ejaculation, time and time again. My wife was pissed because it was our anniversary and I couldn't have sex with her after that, but I mean, c'mon, I came 14 times during dinner. All in all, great experience!!! Can't wait to go back, or should I say cum back? read more

service and management were terrible and unresponsive. we ordered a drink from our server and 20 minutes later she was still not back with them so we left. saw the manager walking around but no help whatsoever. you would think on New Year's day they would be more prepared. read more

The wagyu filet is hands down the best steak you can get in the Detroit area! Mind you I haven't eaten everywhere but wow it's amazing

I brought my girlfriend here for her 21st birthday because it was inside of the casino. The service was terrible, staff didn't even want to be there. They were constantly trying to rush us, which I sort of get because it's in a casino so they want to get you back out on the floor throwing away your money, but i was spending over $100 on dinner in there anyway. At the end of dinner, they didn't even bring out a desert for my girlfriends birthday. I will say the food was pretty good, but the service was overwhelmingly horrible. read more

We went for dinner on November 7. The drinks and appetizers took over an hour. They were just vodka sodas and wine nothing fancy. The apps where Ok at best. The food then took another hour. The steak was ok nothing to write home about. The Sea Bass was RAW cold in the center just terrible. They took the dish and said basically nothing else. We had to ask for the bill and when we go it the bass was still on it. It took another 30 min to get the bill corrected. The whole thing took about 3 hours and it's was a pretty terrible experience all around. I'd never recommend this to anyone or go back. read more

We were heading to Santorini for my birthday when we found they were closed. It was rainy and we were looking for a more upscale restaurant (no other real offerings for that at ground level in Greektown) so we searched open table and Prism had an open reservation. The menu looked good so we decided to head up (fyi, none of us were excited about walking through the smokey casino to get there but it was dry). What a lovely experience. I am a pescatarian (vegetarian who also eats fish) and my sis and best friends are card carrying carnivores. There was something special for all of us. My sis had a filet mignon that she ate with a perma-grin on her face, my friends shared the porterhouse for 2 (beautiful presentation) and I had the halibut....which i would eat every night if i could! The waitstaff were great, very friendly and attentive. A terrific find! read more

Great staffing so far and live music ringtones that are pleasing to my ears. Good stuff so far, waiting on king crabs, steak and 3 sides. Only gamble 20$. Good stuff and good friends. read more

Wonderful good & service. The ambience is noteworthy also. The filet w/ zip sauce is our favorite.

The food is good and Shawn is amazing waiter, love the Atmosphere. And they always try to get us in .

Prism is tucked away inside Greektown casino, so it's super easy to miss. I was luckily introduced to it through a Yelp event where I really enjoyed the food. When my boyfriend's birthday rolled around this year, I knew it would be a good place to go considering he's a huge steak fan. We started with the Beef Tenderloin Bites, and at $15 I was hoping that they would be worth the money. They were worth every freaking penny. You seriously get almost an entire steak for an appetizer. Between the perfectly cooked meat to the sauce it came in, we were in love. The server (who was great) had brought bread to the table, and we literally scraped up every single drop of the sauce with the bread. My boyfriend hadn't even eaten his meal yet and he already told me that he knew he already enjoyed this meal way more than the time we went to Roast. You could honestly just go to the bar for happy hour and get a drink and this appetizer and be completely happy. However, I don't suggest you stop there if you're ready for a meal because the food is perfect. I had the sea bass, and I can't remember the last time I ate fish in a restaurant and was this satisfied. Probably because I've never had such a great piece of fish with the risotto and the sauce. Amazing. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his steak (NY Strip) as it was perfectly cooked. We were both bragging about our meal for days to anyone who would listen so that they don't miss out on this place just because it's tucked away. The only complaints I have are small things, such as live music that was a little too loud. If it were more than just myself and my boyfriend, it would have been hard to hear everyone at the table. The music itself is fine, but I would've liked it to be quieter. It's also super bright in the main area, which is just me being picky, but since every table is spread out, it just feels super open and not an intimate ambiance. I'm not asking to sit in the dark, but maybe dim the lights a bit so I can't see what people halfway across the restaurant ordered. Just a suggestion :) read more

It was my birthday and first time there. The atmosphere was nice, the food was really good and the waiter Syed was as well outstanding and will ask for him again. Syed was so smooth and was there for our every need. Along with his joyful personality. I recommend the Prism Surf an Turf. Food was presented and tasted great. As it being my birthday Syed was very attentive to our needs. I will be going back definitely!!! read more

I was so disappointed Sunday..My Friend and I made reservations on Sunday night at 6:30 specifically for the special the one and a half pound lobster. By the time our waitress came back to take our order it was almost 7 and she told us they were already completely out of the special, we asked what would be a replacement the manager came around and the best that he could do was a half a pound lobster tail for the same price. Which doesn't even compare. So we walked out, very unimpressed and disappointed. read more

The lead waitress who's been there for almost 11 years I believe she said is amazing and always makes our experience there wonderful!

My best friend and I dined in for the first time on our birthday and everything was absolutely amazing. Most definitely will be returning

Let's start with the food, it was excellent! There were 5 of us and we were all happy with our choices. The downside was the service. That being said our waiter was very nice and was doing the best he could. The issue was it was disorganized and slow. Food didn't come out together and a large lag between courses. We would definitely give it another try as perhaps they were short staffed. read more

Went there on a whim.... why I haven't seen this place before, shame on me! What a fantastic place! For a top end resturant in a casino, you would only find this quality in Vegas. Had the Filet special which was absolutely incredible! The presentation was top notch, the desert was a masterpiece combined with French Press coffee! The live singer was soothing music to dine by. My future dining will definitely include this place, and so it should be yours. Ok visit # 2 on Thanksgiving. Expected a standard turkey plate....WRONG! First is the excellent presentation from a beautiful waitress! The turkey entree was a work of art! I thought, this is not possible. The flavors were amazing with cornbread stuffing, a soup that was called Parsnip Soup, was finished to the last drop, and I'm only a Chicken Noodle kind of guy! A 5 star visit again! read more

For my birthday this year, I wanted to get a "special" dinner, something fancy and a little bit on the expensive side. Went here for dinner and was not disappointed. I ordered the American Wagyu steak, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I also got some kind of Macaroni and Cheese dish along with it. The food as absolutely amazing and the service was impeccable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this restaurant as well. Definitely exceeded my expectations all around. read more

Long review worth the read My wife and I have eaten here twice now. The first time was obviously a good experience and made us decide to go back again. However the 2nd time around was very underwhelming. I will admit the food was good. I had the delmanico steak and my wife had the braised short ribs. We shared the lamb meatballs as an app. All three items were cooked properly and had great flavor. Now on to the bad. We went the night there was a concert at Ford Field so I understand that it was a busy night for them. However when we were greeted by the host we were immediately told the kitchen was closed, it was 6:15. I told the host we had a 6:30 reservation. He then proceeded to say that's okay and we could be seated, but it would be a 2 hour wait. After asking what the point of a reservation was we then turned around and left. After some consideration of what we would do we turned back and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was more accommodating, and we decided that we would go gamble for a bit longer and they could seat us at 6:45. We returned at 6:45 and were seated right away. We waited a few minutes for our waitress to come to the table. She was friendly enough, but all in all fairly underwhelming. I'm pretty sure she forgot to put our app order in since she came back after we ordered it and asked if we were ready to order our entree, or if we wanted an app. I then reminded her we already placed an app order and she looked very confused. Our app did end up coming out eventually. It also took well over 30 minutes for them to bring bread out to the table. My wife ordered a 2nd glass of wine, and I had to ask the waitress a 2nd time for her to bring it out. When the bill came the itemized bill was for the wrong amount it had two braised ribs and a salad totaling $99, and none of the wine listed. I thought perhaps the wine had been comped due to the issue when we first arrived. I then gave the waitress my card and the receipt came back after the card was run it was for $163, which was about the correct amount, but this was not itemized, but I couldn't verify the amount. Overall the place had good food, and a nice atmosphere with live music, however our service was far sub par to what it should be for a $200 dinner for 2. The only reason it's a two star review and not one is because of the concert downtown, and the food. Not sure I will be going back. read more

There was a big black hair in my bread and I am bald and my wife is a blonde when I realized it the waitress was just walking by and she went and got the manager for me didn't even ask for it he was really nice and offered us a free appetizer but then it never came ‍ The surf and turf was great service everybody was nice but super slow And we left still wondering whatever happened to the appetizer we never got lol read more

Unable to make an online reservation and when you call, no one answers. Frustrating.

Everything was delish...we had the lobster Mac n cheese which was hot and had lumps of lobster...the bread crumbs were a bit excessive but other wise good...the braised short rib was one of the best I ever had...the carrot had a nice crunch and it was all flavorful... Only downfall is the smell of smoke that seeps in from the casino other than everything was A1...we will definitely return read more

It was not bad. My wife and I went on our anniversary with our sons and our sons girlfriend. It took forever for a waiter to come over, however, the restaurant was pretty empty. It took even longer to get our drinks and forever for our bread. The salmon was tasty and the soup was pretty bland. Let's get back to our anniversary..... the maitre d asked us what the occasion was and I told them our 32nd anniversary. Thinking we would get a little ice cream or a slice of cake, I mean, something..... right? Especially after charging us $70 each for 2 Filets that probably were a commercial quality at best. Will I go back? Probably not. When your restaurant has 4-5 tables on a Friday night at dinner time, something is wrong and needs fixing. read more

just now For customer service one star is being generous. For the last month I've made three attemps to make a reservation for a large group birthday party in December. I was told I would need to speak to a manager. I have either been told to call back or have left messages. Five days ago I tried once again only to be put on hold then disconnected. When I called back the lady apologized and said she would have someone call me back "shortly". Again, no return call....my last attempt was today to be told they are not open on Mondays and to call back. At this point I was fed up and told the lady I would write a review due to lack of follow up and her response was "Ok". If attemptinf to make a reservation is this challenging I can't imagine what the actual dining service is like! read more

This is a belated review from September. My boyfriend and I came to Prizm as sort of a last minute choice. Our reservation was for the same time the dining room opened and you have to kind of mingle around the door in the casino until the minute they open which was unusual there would be no lounge to sit in but whatever... We noted there was a mobile deal on Yelp for a free appetizer during happy hour but that was not what brought us there. Lisa was our server and she was wonderful. She suggested the rock shrimp appetizer, which was one of the largest appetizer portions I have ever encountered as well as one of the tastiest. I highly recommend. There was a slight confusion as to if we could use the yelp deal while dining not at the bar but management allowed us. (It would have been silly not to. Between sitting at the bar getting drinks vs. spending $150 on dinner, it seems the dinner choice would bring more benefits to the consumer) I would have been pretty upset otherwise just off the pure ridiculousness of that policy - glad it was waived. Honestly, I will still order the shrimp regardless of the deal. I began with the Harvest Salad which was a great choice and interestingly enough had oranges I actually liked - and I am not big on oranges. Not sure where they get their oranges from but they surprised me. My date had French Onion soup which he also said was very good. For my entrée, I had my usual steak choice of a petite filet - Oscar style. I was thoroughly impressed. I had been pretty hit or miss last year with steaks - even from some great steak houses - but Prism's execution was perfection. My date chose the Prism burger which I admit I made fun of him for ordering a burger at a steakhouse, but he waved on it. I tried a bite and indeed it was a very good burger - and very large too. I agreed not to harass him on his occasional choice of burgers at fine dining spots ever again. Another neat addition was the live music (guitar and vocals) that began mid-way through our meal. An unexpected and pretty memorable touch. All in all, I have visited other dining spots in Greektown casino and have been very underwhelmed. I got the impression that the business relied on the convenience of location and did not have to provide the best in dish or service. Prism has shown me they have the rights to stand alone. I was surprisingly pleased. read more

Not the same as before! I am not apposed to change but leave the Gouda out of the whipped potatoes and keep steak simple and delicious. Been coming here for years and first time my heart broke. This app allows you to make a reservation and nowhere online or even on the website does it say that they are closed temporarily. My boyfriend and I made a reservation and even received a confirmation from Prism. We arrived at Greektown and called the restaurant multiple times to see where we should enter the building because the casino is closed. The phone calls went right to a voicemail and announced the hours (being open when we made our reservation for) , did not say that it was closed. Please be aware that they are not open contrary to what the website, Yelp, and even their voicemail says!!! read more

My hubby and I visited for dinner. We sat at the bar and drinks. The drinks were well priced and good. I had wine and he ordered a martini. We decided to order our food at the bar. The service at this establishment is absolutely abhorred. We sat down at the bar for happy hour and the bartender completely ignored us. Then she took only one drink order from our party, it took her 10 minutes to make it, she dropped it off and left. She finally took our order for apps and it took 40 minutes to get them. One person from our party never got her order. Food runners were bringing food to the wrong parties. The food is mediocre at best. Had a reservation for my birthday here, but we cancelled it. Don't waste your time. read more

This place exceeded my expectations as far as food goes. We had the bone in ribeye, wagyu burger and seafood pasta, All was prepared exceptionally well. He Mac, fries and augratin was great. Went here for a nice dinner out with the husband as we were staying at the hotel to escape the kids. Initially impressed, but when we had to ask the waitress for our beers 15 min after ordering them, was starting to get disappointed. Food was good, but not worth the money- especially when we realized the dishes we ordered (salmon and the burger) we could have ordered in the hotel room for almost $10 less per dish. Waitress eventually asked if we wanted desserts, we asked to see the menu, and then she didn't even check in with us for over another 10 minutes. If you want a "nice dinner" at the casino, this could be it. But didn't think it was worth the cost at all read more
