Disclaimer: I never bought a car from this specific dealership Instead, I take advantage of my priorities for life. Free oil changes forever! This one tends to be less crazy than the Priority Toyota and it's closer for me. I have to schedule an appointment maybe at least 3 days in advance depending on what time of the month it is to get a decent time. I usually wait for my car and it's not that bad. The waiting area is more than just sitting in a chair. You've got a movie theater that plays old movies, massage chairs, a business center, play area for the kids, desk area for your laptop, etc... My favorite is that they have this Starbucks brewing machine for either coffee or hot chocolate. Such an upgrade to just sitting around with nothing to do. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! Never call or go back to this location!!! My car got a recall and I called them to schedule an appointment with them around Jun. The staff there told me to call back in August coz they were short in parts and basically hung up. Well thanks, didn't even give me time to ask a question. I called back in August, trying to figure out whether I can schedule an appointment. The lady who answered the phone was not nice and sounded annoyed when I asked her to check my service/parts order records. She didn't sound like she would do it but I insist. Anyways, during the whole conversation, she didn't sound like she was willing to help at all!!! I have been to other car dealerships and they have way better customer service!!! Bottom line, they are not annoyed when a customer call!!!!! read more

I came here to purchase a new vehicle after having an EXTREMELY horrible experience at Hall Honda. I called Priority to see how the could help me out. The sales manger Chris answered the phone and was very polite and professional and invited me to come in. I was immediately greeted by a receptionist who contacted Chris let him know I was there. He was great! He even gave me a tour of the facility which showed me he was proud to work for Priority which gave me confidence. I thought it was a nice touch. The whole team I interacted with during the process was amazing and so helpful. They seemed to really care about my needs and were empathetic. The whole team worked incredibly hard to make the numbers work, and I am so great full!! They have a customer for life and I will NEVER purchase a vehicle anywhere else!!! Thank you thank you!!!! read more

I can't emphasize enough what great service I received from everyone I dealt with at priority Honda! I traveled from my home in New Hampshire to be with my son & daughter-in-law for the birth of their child when my 2019 Accord would not start. I had my car towed to Priority Honda for Troubleshooting/maintenance. I was also going to need a loaner vehicle while my car was in the shop. From the superb customer service I received from Service Advisor-Amanda Greer, rental car coordinator-Mary Dickens, and Service Tech-Tyler (sorry-last name escapes me), I could not be happier. They knew I was from out of town and in a bind and was dealt with as I was one of their family! I want to take a moment to discuss Maintenance Supervisor Anthony Haynes. This man went above and beyond to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose the problem! After the car was brought to Priority the car was inexplicably able to start. The initial problem could not be duplicated. Anthony worked many hours but could not duplicate the issue. He was able to pull a code from the vehicle which indicated a potential fuel system issue. Before giving up he tried one more time and was able to verify the extended cranking before eventual ignition. His expertise told him it may be a problem with the recently recalled Accord Fuel module. He brought it back into the maintenance bay and verified that was the cause. He was able to change out the module in what seemed like no time at all and I was on my way. Anthony was obviously very knowledgeable about his craft, but what made my experience superb, was the amount of time he took to explain to me everything involved with each step of the process. He could not have been more knowledgeable, caring and professional. It was the best experience I have ever had with any dealership! read more

Bought my car here back in the summer from Ricardo and had an excellent car buying experience. Last week I had my first free oil change. In and out in about an hour. Friendly staff and prompt service! read more

It's unfortunate that the employees at dealers think customers are so stupid. I talked to a man in parts, I asked him about ordering some parts. He more or less fabricated a complete lie to just get rid of me over the phone. No problem, I won't be doing any business with this dealership. Dealerships need to get with the program. Consumers are more educated now than ever. read more

Kemonii Pollock and Priority did a great job across the board. Thank you. Quick easy and not pushy. Very satisfying experience.

I came in on 10/3/19 because a road hazard had caused my bumper to almost fall off. Upon arrival, I was quickly assisted by the service team who brought out one of their collision people, Louis. Louis provided exceptional service and was able to fix my bumper (which i thought i might have to file an insurance claim for) in the matter of 20 minutes. I will gladly bring my service back to priority Honda due to the exceptional service provided by Louis and team. Thanks! read more

These people do not care about their customers. We bought a used minivan and it wasn't until after they took our down payment and the title for our trade that they informed us the van wasn't ready for pick up. They had had a week to get it ready, but it hadn't been touched. Now, 3 days later, on the day it was promised, we can't get a call back, there is no information to be had. The managers don't care, there has been no attempt to even return our phone calls. We're having to go in and fight to get our title and payment back because at this point, it's just not worth the hassle. We finally spoke with the general manager who didn't offer an apology for our poor experience or make any attempt to rectify the situation. If this is how you treat a small sale, you can rest assured that when we're ready for a brand new car, we will not be coming to you. read more

I came here in Black Friday in need of a car. Andre greeted us right away. I told him what i was looking for and showed me two different cars. I went with a 2015 Nissan rouge. I was in and out in 4 hours he was amazing and worked with me. Well when I had purchased the car it had a scratch/ dent in my driver side and he without hesitation said they could fix it at no extra charge to me. I took my car in about 3 weeks later and got Shelby as my service advisor. She put me in a rental again at no charge to me for about 5 days and kept In touch each day about my car. She was amazing and very friendly! Thank you priority for making my first car buying experience great! read more

Always professional, always efficient. So glad I purchased my new vehicle through Priority!

Got me in quick and I didn't have to wait all day to get my service completed! Very helpful and friendly much better than priority Chevy! I will definitely go back for my service needs. read more

We purchased two vehicles within6 months last year and purchasing part was fine. We will never purchase anything from here again because of Charles Bristol ( not sure if spelling is correct) in the service dept. VERY rude and when I said something back to him he just kept telling me I was messing with the wrong guy. Not the way you should talk to a customer. Rest of the service team was friendly and got my car back from the service that day in about an hr. which was fine. But because of him we will NEVER purchase anything there again. read more

four stars for service department. but beware of sales department.....i had an appoint this past week and the morning of the appointment i had a voice mail, after checking it , it was a message from someone called andre (ondra) i called service department right away thinking my appointment had been canceled. after 10 mins with them i found out it was a salesman. i don't appreciate calls from sales people. if i wanted a sales person i would call or visit. i confronted him when i got there and he said it was company policie. i have been going there for years and have never reprieved a call from a sales person. read more

Stephen Mchale was a good sales rep when I bought my car. He helped me out while buying my car and did a good job. I would have given them a 5/5 but it wasn't until I spoke with the financial manager Denise that changed everything.. she was at first professional and soon began to speak to me in a very disrespectful manner and started saying how since I was a first time buyer my APR wouldn't be good even though my credit was overall excellent. APR has nothing to do with that.. she then proceeded to insult my wife.. then to end it all insult me.. if there's anything about this that u can take from me.. try not to have Denise be your financial dealer. Very crooked and unprofessional. read more

Just bought a Honda HRV from Priority Chesapeake. The process was so easy - I had stellar service from everyone involved. No pressure. Great deal including more for my trade in than I expected. They followed up to make sure I was happy. I LOVE the car; Honda quality can't be beat and value for the $$. Will definitely return to this dealer when I need another car. read more

I grew up in the car industry. My dad was the finance director for my entire life at a series of dealerships, so I know firsthand how cut throat the industry can be. There are also a lot of unscrupulous characters who choose the car industry as a profession. That being said, I was very impressed by TJ at this dealership. He struck me as a genuinely good person who wasn't trying to take advantage of us, and I very much appreciated that. We had been to multiple other dealerships with very aggressive salesmen who were trying to get us to pay MSRP (don't ever pay MSRP!!!). We had already researched to find out what dealer invoice was and had gotten written offers from other dealerships. I walked in with my written offers, asked TJ if he could beat them, and he got right to work. They did beat the offer from Hall Honda. They also came down significantly on the extended warranty when I showed them in writing that a friend had paid about 1/3 the price they quoted me for the exact same car at another dealership. If I based this review only on TJ, it would be 5 stars. He's a straight shooter and a hard worker. I felt he truly wanted us to get the best deal out there. The one star that was deducted is because the big bosses totally low balled us on our trade in value. That's not cool. We got them to come up about 1100 dollars on it, but our car was worth more. In the end, it was the most hassle free buying experience I've had so far. Pro tip: Go in on the last day of the month, about 3-4 hours before they close. They always have end of month quotas to make, and they are much more willing to haggle with you if you go in then. I knew this from my childhood. read more

Its horrible service there , after everything set , price and the interest 1.99% for 36 months , as they said . They brought me to see mrs Linda financing Manager . She is rude and disrespect person . The Parts department is terrible!!!! I purchased a serpentine belt from them for $70 and installed it on my car for one day and it broke. Honda would not refund me or exchange the belt! Terrible customer service, I told the manager about my phone charger cord was bite by my cat (yes this actually happened) and I returned it to the store and the store would allow me to exchange it. The manager proceeded to tell me that's not possible when I did it personally. Clearly he does not care about his customers and they are greedy and just want your money. I absolutely will not go back for parts, I'm perfectly fine using a belt from advanced auto for $35 that has a actual legit warranty unlike Honda. Furthermore I will NOT go back for any other parts! read more

It took a long time to diagnose the issue where I had to go back on 3 separate occasions but Ricky, the service adviser took excellent care of me! Want to give Priority Honda a shot at earning my business. My mistake hopefully this review will prevent you from making the same one and wasting your time at the dealership. First salesperson not thoroughly knowledgeable explain to us at the vehicle had sport mode and putting the automatic transmission into the S position was for sport. Even though we all know it's for second gear so the quality there explains a lot. Don't know if they're just trying to upsell the vehicle or images Clueless. Trade-in value got an appraisal $4,000 under what for other dealerships in Hampton Roads area we're giving me. Oh I think he looked at the wrong vehicle let me go check yeah he must have looked the wrong vehicle is that the Eagles definitely worth more than that after we said something so they're going to lowball you and try to rip you off they don't have a really knowledgeable sales staff. You walk in talk to receptionist and she's kind of trucks or shoulders when you ask your questions like is this person here is that person are little too busy doing her homework I don't know just not professional place in I wouldn't want to give him my business. There are many other reputable dealers out there we know that I think they take being in this area of Chesapeake for granted they need to do some change up on their business practices hopefully have to shake things up. read more

My experience with priority Honda Hampton has been nothing but terrible. I found the car that I had wanted to purchase and we thought we made a deal and everything was fine at the beginning. When you go to the finance department and you talk to Wes who couldn't give us lower interest rate and tried to sell us extended warranty. Wes pressured us to get a extended warranty and I said to myself ok if that's what he is offering. I didn't feel comfortable with Wes trying to sell me a extended warranty and the salesperson had never mentioned any extra warranty or anything. It took more than 3 hours at the dealership and it's not that they were very busy or anything. They are not trying to help a customer and Wes doesn't care about anything else but for you to sign the paperwork and go. Priority Honda in Chesapeake is so much better ! They actually had given us a lower interest rate than Wes! My salesperson didn't bother to call but he texted us the whole time and trying to sell this car. How unprofessional! He didn't even apologize or anything or call. This dealership has no customer service and they are just beyond unhelpful. read more

So my opinion has changed in last 11ish months. Not a huge fan anymore. They kept sending me e-mails and letters saying they really want to buy back my 2010 honda. So I humored them. I wasn't planning on walking out with a new car, but if they could get me a good deal I would highly consider it. So, I drove a new 2012. I liked it. The sales man kept saying, "Your monthly payment won't be much more than what you pay now!" That go my hopes up. He then quoted me for $205 more per month... for a car that is $3,000 less than mine was at the time of my purchase (I was willing to give up some options). He kept saying tha the car was $10k more than mine... I have no idea where that came from. When my lease is up, I will be getting out of there as soon as possible and getting a Volvo. read more

This purchasing experience was the worst of 5 in my life. There appears to be a sales culture of unethical and unprofessional behavior. First, I was told all 4 tires were new, that Priority puts new tires on all used cars they sell. I thought the car was a little noisy and more than one person at the dealership told me that's just 2011 Hondas -- common complaint. sounded like bearings going bad, but I thought that was odd for 34,000 miles. Everyone who rode in the car agreed. The service department was great -- working hard to correct things before the sales was final. Windshield with large chink in it - replaced (after a sales manager tried to have me pay for half of it--I had not written a check for the car yet!); worn through brake pedal pad - replaced; finally service looked at tires and found the rear wheels had cupping. I wondered out loud what would cause that on brand new tires so quickly. She said only the front tires were new, why did I think the back ones were new? I told her what I was told by the first salesman and she said that was not the first time the Service Dept. had heard this. Service replaced the bad tires, rotated, balanced and aligned tires/wheels. One would expect this to be done before a sale. After all of this, I decided the dealership had made good and arranged to write a check. $1,000 had been added to the sales ticket! A second sales manager argued about what his salesman's notes meant--this person was not present. He implied either I was a liar or an idiot. I tucked away my checkbook; as I was working on the words to request keys to my trade-in, this second sales manager angrily says fine, I'll take off $500. After all this, I am amazed I did not walk away. Guess I had too much time invested by then. Every time I had to raise and issue, I was treated by sales managers like I was a witch for even asking things to be made right. It took them 2 weeks to get that car into shape to warrant completing the sale. They had the nerve to say they had never let a car off the lot for so long without being paid for! I hope this is not how all Priority dealerships are, but DON'T waste your time with Priority Honda Chesapeake. There are plenty of HONDAS out there in great shape, being sold by honest, up front people. read more

I have consistently received the best service from Priority Honda since I bought my CIVIC from them in 2009. My car has been very well maintained and I'm always treated as a valued customer initially by Louis and now Ed in the service department. I don't take advantage of all the extras provided (theater, massage chairs, free manicure Wednesday) but do appreciate how much this dealership does for their customers. I always leave with a newly washed car and all my concerns attended to. I've been to other Honda dealerships and purchased from another in 2007, but none of the other dealerships goes out of their way like Priority to keep you as a life time customer. read more

I bought a used 2007 CRV from Priority in January. They didn't even bother to have the used cars they sell cleaned up. The salesman said "used cars are not a priority to them for cleanliness"! The CRV still had dog hair in it!! When I did buy it I asked for it to be cleaned. The salesman cleaned it because detailing was so lax. I was lied to by the finance man DANNY. They showed me one price I was going to pay for monthly payment, then when it came to final paperwork, Danny changed the price of my payment. I asked for compensation on the higher price he offered. He agreed to give me gas for the extra $324 I was being charged. I had to bring the vehicle to the dealership each time for the gas. After I came for my 3rd tank of gas fill up, I was refused by Danny. He said that he never told me I would get that kind of compensation! Ball face lied to me, he only cared about the sale and not being honest with the buyer!! I had even asked him in the beginning for the $324 in gas written down. He said he'd send me an email of it. He never sent it. Priority Honda staff's people who lie, who don't care how they get their money from a buyer. Danny said I didn't have to sign the contract. I said fine I want my trade in back. He said he couldn't it was sold. These people are NOT honest at all. I refuse to give them anymore of my business. BUYER BEWARE, LIARS AND THIEVES RESIDE THERE! read more
