I had my Toyota Rav4 detailed after I did a cross-country road trip. It wasn't as dirty as he thought it would be, so he reduced the price once he saw how clean it was. I just didn't want to drive to a car wash to get it cleaned, so it was nice that he could come to my house and get it nice and clean in my driveway. He is very friendly, respectful, and courteous. I work from home so I was looking for someone who could come to me and detail my poor car that has seen better days. The roof had so much dirt the vibrant blue was a dull brown almost, the windows had so much stuff caked on it you couldn't see out of the bottom of the window pane. Also, this pine tree in my yard blessed it with an absurd amount of sap. I knew it was time to just shell out the cash and get it cleaned up. I reached out to Pro Detailing and they sent out Tony who came on time and worked with my unique issues. My house doesn't have a hose so I needed someone who had portable water, I also needed someone who would be willing to work with me via text, like I said I work from home and am unable to leave my desk when I want to, but I can always text. He arrived when he said, took a look at the car, and started working away. It was a beast of a job for sure but I could not have expected it to come out as good as it did. The car is beautiful again making my Mazda shine made me so incredibly happy. Total time was about 2.5 hours, As I mentioned it was a beast of a job but he handled it perfectly and to my surprise, he was able to remove the sap from my vehicle windows something that has irked me for a long time now. Over the past few weeks, I was looking around to have some general detailing done for my car. The car is almost five years old and I have never done a car detailing before. After looking at different places, I saw this one on Yelp and that they had a deal as well. In the end, I ended up having my car detailed by Tony (the owner). My car was detailed on July 12, 2021. The time of my appointment for this work was at 9 am. A few minutes after 9 am, he was outside and getting ready to get started. Since I had already purchased this through a deal, no additional payment was needed that day, so it was just a quick meeting and I let him get to it. It was a full interior and exterior detail. The overall detailing took about 3 hours. There is definitely a lot of work that goes into it, and he was very detailed when it came to the detail work. My car was in pretty good condition, so it wasn't too bad and nothing else was needed in the end except for the original detail. There were some spots that needed attention, such as older stains and such, but it was all taken care of in this detail. The car is a 2016 Ford C-Max. After everything was done, the car looked great. It looked like it was just coming out of the dealership as a new car. He had brought everything needed in his own van, so he didn't even need to use my water either. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the experience on having the car detailed. The next time I need to have the car detailed, this is who I am having it done by. I bought my car secondhand and there was some smoke residue and dirt in the ceiling of the car. And then I accidentally left my sunroof open during a torrential downpour and soaked the inside of my car. Long story short the car started to smell and needed some deep cleaning. I'd been looking for a mobile detailing service and found Pro Detailing here on Yelp. They had excellent reviews and there was also a $95 for $125 deal--so I was sold! I purchased the deal, figuring that I would have some incidentals based on the size and condition of my car, especially the interior. I have 2 large dogs and they ride with me about once a week. This was my first time using Pro Detailing and Tony was responsive and scheduling was quick. He worked on my vehicle for a couple of hours and he did a pretty good job. I gave a 3 star review because at the end of the job he proceeded to tell me that in the future this would have been a more pricey job. This is information I would have preferred to receive at the start of the job because then we could have worked out the cost based on the condition of my vehicle and I could have potentially gotten a complete detail. read more

I was not happy with the result of my detailing service. Although the outside was well cleaned, nothing about the inside seemed to be thoroughly detailed. The whole point of paying for the detailing service is for the small places/crevices most average car washes don't reach to get taken care of. Not only were they not, but even the basic items did not get cleaned such as the seats, dash, etc. When we called to complain, Tony did show up the next day to fix the areas that didn't get cleaned, however, they still weren't taken care of. This is the first Mobil wash that I have had while living in Virginia. When living in Florida I had a regular service that washed my car while at the office and it was terrific. So when I needed our family van detailed after a big trip with kids I researched Mobil vs. brick and mortar. Pro Detailing by far as the best reviews on the Yelp system as well as great pics too! So I contacted Tony by voice-mail, however he did not get back to me for a few days due to a death in the family. But when he did follow up, he got me on his books ASAP! The cost was confirmed on a special that shows on Yelp at $95 with an upcharge of $15 for Van/Suv, so total was $120. Per Tony he said allow 2.0 to 2.5 hours for a van/suv detail. There is also a yelp check-in offer for Clay Bar. However, his address is Norfolk and did not allow me to check in. Once he makes contact with his customers you will have his cell which you can use to confirm appt's and text if necessary. So on the 4th of July he completed the work on my van. Shocking that he works on holidays, but sure enough this is not unusual, he works everyday except Sunday. He works long hours as a solo proprietor. He has an extended van that has all the equipment that he needs to do a fantastic job. For those that have seen work vans from not only Mobil car washers, but painters etc. this does not look like one. It is as neat in appearance as Tony. He arrived on the scheduled time to the minute. Tony introduced himself and we went through the van on a few items to make sure he saw to give attention to. The service provided on a full detail is a complete wash, wax, wiping down of all interior panels, vacuum, carpets washed, engine compartment cleaned, wheel fully dressed. He will not need a water source since he has his own tank with solution. However, he will need a power source for vacuuming. At around the hour point I checked on him and waxing was just being completed and looked great. He mentioned that additional work on the roof was necessary due to some mold that accumulated from parking outside under a tree. So he used clay bar which is typically an upcharge, but he kept the quote the same. I again checked on him at around the two hour point and he said he was beginning to wrap up and he completed the job around two hours and fifteen minutes. I looked over his work and although there were a few small areas that we addressed it was a really sweet job and looked better than it had in years. I was not only impressed with the detail and level of attention to his work, but Tony himself. After talking to Tony a bit I learned that he provides yelp users a special day to move them through faster. So I was impressed that he did this and thought it was a great win for the yelp community. His normal wait time can be 30 days out, he has a very large client list and some smaller commercial accounts. An interesting story he told me was about a young male customer in Norfolk that had a new Bentley. He does not follow the NFL, but later learned this was former Maury HS stand out and Seattle Seahawk Kam Chancellor. His parents still reside in Norfolk. I thought this was a cool story. I would recommend Pro Detailing for both hand wash and a full detail alike. I hope to have a few neighbors to quickly refer that saw him working in my drive. read more
