The estimate was so much less than I had guessed, I added repainting one fender panel that was strangely matte, and they took a lot of effort and pride in redoing the pinstriping all around so that it now looks brand new. In October my wife's car got hit by a hit & run at the Kroger parking lot. Some blankety blank put their front wheel into her driver's door and took off, It also marked the front fender down low and wrecked the plastic trims on the door bottom. We had a body guy from church do the door work. He did a great job but he is not a painter. We tried to take it to a Bodyshop on GW Hiway. But they closed up for a few days and stopped returning calls. I took it Jason at Color Solutions. He looked it over and gave us a very fair estimate for the paint. He scheduled us for after Thanksgiving. We brought it in, and they took over the job. Two days later we got cell pics showing the re-done paint. Picked it up the next day (That was earlier today) and we are very pleased with their work. It's a two-year-old metallic silver Ford. They did a really awesome job of matching the color as well as blending it to the factory paint. You have to look really hard at the panels to notice where they blended the paints. I had Jim out recently to do some chip and scratch touch-ups on my black SUV. The repairs he performed were good. He had stated on the phone, unless he was sanding and repainting an entire panel, the scratches would be invisible from a distance, but I would still see the outline close up. This definitely proved to be true, but I don't see anyone looking at my car that close up and I like how the scratches have essentially disappeared - and there were some doozies! I'm happy with the end result. Why only 3 stars - I was contacted by Jim over the phone and he was scheduled to come by that same evening. An hour after he said he'd be by, crickets.. So I texted and asked if he was still coming and got "Oh my" in response, so I assume he forgot. He asked me to send some photos, which I did and he was able to provide a fair quote over the phone. He came out the next week to get started and, after seeing my photos, had already indicated by phone it would take 1 hour. He was able to get the paint done, but let my husband (who was home with my car) know that he'd have to come back on the weekend to finish, which we weren't expecting. So he ended up coming back at 7:30 on a Saturday morning (fine, we've got a toddler so we're up early) and finished up. I took a glance at the car - thank goodness I did - before he left - and one of the prominent chips had been missed. So we had to wait for that one to finish. My husband also asked for a quote to completely repaint the hood and roof and felt it was overpriced, especially after having the hood repainted previously for less, so we likely won't use Jim for our other vehicle just because of cost. I would certainly give him a call again for a small job and judging by the photos, it looks like he does great work on larger repairs. Overall, I'd say Jim does good work and is a nice guy, but we weren't overly impressed with his communication or lack thereof and I wish he had carefully inspected his own work before he asked us to do so. read more

I thought the paint had chipped off about a 2-inch section of my car door and it looked like it had begun to rust.
