I have been meaning to visit this self serve car wash for quite some time and I finally got a chance to. The individual price plans seem a bit expensive compared to other near locations. The monthly subscription prices seem like a great when compared to the individual washes. The wash tunnel dispensed a ton of soap which properly coated my sedan. The rinse cycle was just as generous which is not always a given. The vacuums were clean and powerful. Definitely will be back. read more

I was visiting relatives in Virginia Beach and was looking for a decent car wash. Mega eas one of the best rated places in the area so I gave it a try. Or Ing was on par with Nee York City and you can choose from a menu for exterior or exterior and interior service. Prices ran from $14 to $25 which appeared to be a good price for the service they provided. Everyone there was courteous, the place was spotless and modern looking, there is a nice waiting area you can sit in while your car is being wiped down. They are well staffed and everyone was attentive to your vehicle. It seemed weird that there is a $3 charge to wipe down the car as opposed to letting your vehicle air dry. It's a little different than New York City as you sit in the car while the vehicle is being washed. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend them. read more

I'm very disappointed. This was my first time and I paid $58 for the mega wash with interior and extended cleaning. I also asked for fragrance new car smell. I stopped at target after getting wash and in the way there noticed my car smelled mildewy like dirty water (perhaps from the cloths used to wipe the interior) but it definitely smelled better before the wash. There was no new car fragrance. Also they did not wipe down my seats and the exterior was still slightly dirty. I won't be going back. read more

I was quite pleased with my visit this morning. I've never used an auto spa, though there are plenty in the Greenbrier area, but I pass Mega Auto Spa several times a week and always say "Ive really got to try that!" So today I treated myself and my vehicle to a spa visit. They have several options as you pull to the automated teller for exterior/interior services and add ons such as towel drying. They also offer free vacuums at the exit. True to form, I had a hard time deciding what to select, so a kind gentleman helped me at the teller. I asked about the membership and he informed me about pricing and what it includes. I was hesitant to commit the $50 until I saw how the car wash performed. He did inform me that I could return in 3 days if I wanted to get the membership and my purchase today would count toward the price. I selected the high end exterior, no interior service or towel dry ($25) and pulled up to the tunnel. The same gentleman guided me onto the track, did a hand wash of the front (bugs much?!) and rear, pushed in my side mirrors and also placed a protective cover on the rear wiper. Off I went! The track guides the car through the wash and blow dry process. I inspected the car after I pulled out and was very pleased with how clean and shiny it looked. Far superior to the gas station washes. I likely won't invest in the membership for myself, but I did kindly offer the suggestion to hubs for a Christmas gift. Happy spa day to me! read more

Not gonna lie, when i first got here i was a little scared. Taking your vehicle into a place as clean as this is like driving a Saturn to a Porsche dealership. I first parked my car to check the place out and figure out where to go, I realized after parking that you drive up and ask what you would like. I payed for the MEGA package with carpet cleaning because its been a few months since i have washed my car. I got the car cleaned and vacuumed and the car looks basically brand new! It did take about an hour but it was worth every second lol. There are not many car washes as good as this one in the area. Anywhere else you will pay more clean you car yourself and it will take much longer. Very confused how this place has a good rating because the service is horrible. My wife brought our car here today and it took them 2 hours to wash interior and exterior of my car. My wife sat and watched as car after car pulled into and out of the bays around her while 3-4 workers cleaned those cars but only one worker (very slow) cleaned ours. If it takes two hours to wash my car (it doesn't) then at least have the decency to tell me instead of wasting my time. I wont be back and I'll make sure my friends don't either. read more

I've always been very satisfied with the car wash (interior and exterior) that I get from this place. I always pay for the big package, and for what you get, it's definitely worth it. It's the next best thing to getting a full detail on your car. They move pretty quickly, even when they are busy and have lots of cars on a nice day. Highly recommend over Autobell and some of the others in the area, as these folks are very consistent and for some reason if you need to get something touched up or they didn't do as good of a job as you would like on a particular section, I've never gotten an attitude from any of the workers for asking and I always leave a $30-40 tip. read more

Okay! So, these guys did a fantastic job on my car; inside and out. I just wanted to get that out of the way in case someone was in a hurry. When I drove up I wasn't sure about how everything worked since it was my first time, but a guy immediately came out and explained all the options. I opted for the $45 service since we had just returned from a trip and my car really needed the extra attention. Paid with my credit card, neutralled through the car wash, drove around the building and parked inside for the cleaning. There's a waiting area with plenty of seating and a tv. I have to say that the area was really clean and those chairs were super comfy! There are His and Hers bathrooms available, and a vending machine. The only downside is they had everything available to make a good cup of coffee, except for the actual coffee. At 9am that would've been a nice little touch. The whole process took about 45 minutes. I give then an A+ and will definitely be visiting again soon read more

Needed the truck cleaned and figured I'd stop by. The store manager came out and greated me and explained the types of washes they offered. I opted for the $27 "EXPRESS" wash. When you decide which type of wash you want. You'll pull into the wash bay and attendant does a prewash before it enters the actual automated wash. After the wash you'll drive into an indoor bay greeted by detailers. The waiting room gives full view of the detailing bay, which is actually really nice. From start to finish it took less then 30min. You've earned my business! read more

I just took my Ford Ranger pick up truck to Mega Auto Spa in Chesapeake, Virginia for the second time. The first time there, I paid $50 to have my truck cleaned inside and out. They did a superb job! The second time I brought it to them, I paid $58 for interior and exterior...this time they charged $4 per floor mat (rubber) to wash. I chose to only have my front floor mats washed. The first time I came here I didn't pay extra for floor mats, it was just something they cleaned as part of the overall package. When I pulled in, the guy that sprays off your vehicle intially flipped out when I put my truck in neutral (as per the instructions on the board of directions) and my truck started getting pulled into the washer. I guess I was supposed to wait for his cue to do that, but he didn't say a word...just started spraying my truck. I guess this is the area where he does protection types of things like folding in your mirrors, etc. He started screaming, "What the Hell are you doing?!!!!" and gave me a major attitude. I politely told him I was just following the directions on the big light board behind him. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. The rest of the team was very polite and worked hard to clean my truck. They couldn't have been any nicer and my truck looks great! I can't give this place a perfect review, but the end product was great. I will definitely return and hopefully the rude guy won't even be there the next time around. I definitely recommend based on the finished product and the overall service that is provided. read more

This place is prob one of the worst automated car washes I have ever been to. I paid for the medium tier wash which includes their "tire shine" and as you can tell from the photos that is an absolute joke. Lot of the dirt on the front and rear area of my vehicle is still remaining. The vacuums are free but they free for a reason because they lack suction power and you will find that you will not be able to get most of the dirt and trash unless it's very loose. I understand that this is an automated place and expectations should not be very high but to spend $19 on a wash and walk away with a dirty vehicle is tough. This place is new so I had high hopes of being impressed but it was a huge let down. Stay clear of this place. read more

3 stars for the interior service, I was disappointed in the exterior wash, I drive a jeep and it wasn't overly dirty just pollen etc and the automatic wash just left a lot of pollen still on. Even with them wiping down alot was missed. I spent another 40 min at home cleaning out the pollen the wash missed. I would definitely come back for the interior services. I am going to try the wash with my husband's Honda and I am sure it will do a better job the other cars there at the time looked better than mine.
