The most recent time (this past weekend) I was at this location I had forgotten my phone at home. The employee who helped me was friendly, extremely patient, and very helpful. There were other cars pulling up and there was an issue with the payment system but he was unphased and got the situation straightened out. I appreciate him a bunch for his help! I also appreciate that they have a power washer which they use to get extra dirt and grime off of the car before it goes through the wash. One of my favorite places to stop and get a quick car wash. They have washes ranging from $3 (basic) - $18 (managers special). I have been at times where they were busy, but one of the best things they have is the gate operating system. I always get worried somebody's going to take my spot in line, but the gate to the car wash line opens in the order that the cars came in. Even better is that it doesn't open until there's actually space to get in the line! There are vacuums available after the wash for free with a 10 minute limit, though unless it's super busy, they're not exactly timing you. There's also spray bottles and rags to clean the inside of your car with and I've seen employees constantly walking around to pick up trash. read more

Basic wash was $4 but the business info on yelp still says $3. On previous occasions, I remember there being much more soap. The car was flooded with soap. This time you could barely see any foam action. Very basic probably won't be back even after the social distancing ends. read more

I went because they were offering a free wash. When I pulled up the attendant gave to the option of the free wash or to have unlimited washes for $10 a month. Seemed like a good deal until, so I did the 10 a month. I checked my bank account and they charged me $40. This place is shady. They aren't even full service and the wash isn't even all that great. You car still comes out dirty. I still had to clean dirt off my car and it wasn't even that dirty to begin with. I do not recommend save your money and go elsewhere. I've been happy with their top car wash service (level 5), which I've used for 3 months. I got a discount on their monthly subscription for $30/month for unlimited washes once a day. No issues with the car wash experience. They place a plastic wrap around the back windshield wiper, which always flies off during the drying process, so I don't have to remove it. At the end, if I want a perfect, streak-free shine, I just have to dry off a few spots myself, but the wash is mostly great. I did have a confusing encounter with one associate who didn't seem to be aware of how the app worked, but he corrected his mistake eventually. read more

Horrible! I went through thinking it would at the very least get the bugs off my windshield... NOPE! This carwash was an absolute WASTE OF MONEY! The kids directing you into the tracks for the wash stood there talking, finally directed me in, and didn't spray or do any prep for my vehicle. I tried this place for the first time today. I got the $4 basic wash plus 2 add ons so the total came to $12. The car wash was great. It got my car really clean. After the wash it led me to the free vacuuming station. The part I didn't like was that there were signs around the stations that stated that there is a 10 minute vacuum limit. I have two small children and sometimes it takes longer than 10 minutes to vacuum my car. There were attendants out there monitoring as well. I'm sure I went over but couldn't really get in between my seats because they don't have the vacuum pieces that get in between your seats. Overall I thought it was an ok experience. Not even Capital One can block them, every month I have to reject the $12 charge and go through the process even AFTER I changed my card, they somehow got the new information. Came here because they were offering free car washes this week. I don't know why they were doing it, but after seeing a couple of friends car's that went there, I had to go... plus it was free so why not. Pulling up to the place, the line was pretty long, like almost onto VB boulevard. So I got in the line, and it moved pretty quickly, I think I waited about 20 minutes at the most. When you pull up it's your standard car wash, you pick which one you want on the touch screen and you keep it moving. The free wash that they were offering was their $12 one, which I was pretty surprised about, I thought it was gonna be the most basic one, but nope. Going through the wash itself was pretty fun, one section stood out in particular because it was like a light show in my car. It only last for about 10 seconds but it was very cool. The part that I loved the most, and will definitely be coming back for, is the free vacuums and interior cleaning supplies. I personally think all car washes should have free vacuums, but Coastal Breeze went over the top and provides glass cleaner, interior wipes, as well as water repellent for you windshield. That's insane! Overall, this is one of the best car washes I've been to, and I will definitely be returning! read more

For $3 you can get a basic wash and 10 minutes using the vaccuum. I wanted to get as much dog hair out of my rental before returning it because I didn't want to get charged for a cleaning fee. I went to Euclid and did a U-Turn and was able to turn in. The first part you come to is the exit so you keep going until you see the entrance. You drive all the way up to the machine where you choose what type of wash you want. I was washing a rental and really just needed to vacuum so I chose the basic for $3. Once you pay and get your receipt then you drive up to where you get your wash. There is an employee inside guiding you and making sure you get on the track with your wheel. Then he points to a sign so you read to make sure you are in neutral and don't hit the brakes. The track brings you through and as your vehicle moves slowly and gets the dirt removed there are signs telling you what is happening and the type of wash you got. Once the dryer is finished there is another sign that tells when to drive out and there are arrows to tell you where to go for the vacuuming. There are signs to only use them for 10 minutes and not to blast your music. In the same area is a cart to use with window cleaner and rags. When you finish there are more arrows and cones that lead you to the exit. This place is too legit and the best part if you don't wanna go all out, the Basic Wash is ONLY $3!! read more

I love cleaning my car inside and out, but I never have good experiences at any other carwashes because they are typically in a very dangerous areas and or the service if any is very poor. My friend and I needed to clean our cars and she told me about Coastal Breeze. All I can say about the car wash is it is probably one of the most wickedest things one could ever experience! It not only washes your car spotless it is such a fun experience there are lights and everything! I highly recommend it for young kids! The customer service is impeccable, the staff who works there are very approachable when I had questions and the unlimited vacuum time is a dream come true. I personally hate when I am only given five minutes to vacuum my car, with a poor suctioned vac. Not the case at Coastal Breeze! I will definitely be going back. Go at your own risk. I always go to Grand Slam Car Wash in Kempsville and never had a problem. I decided to give this location a try because I was in the area..... a huge mistake! It tore off the shark fin antenna off my Ford Explorer. I didn't realize the antenna was missing and the radio wasn't working until much later that day. Once I did, I attempted to call their office, but they never answered. I drove to their location the very next day. I was able to retrieve my broken shark fin, told to use epoxy, and that they were not responsible. The employee pointed at the sign which is conveniently placed after you have paid, and right before your vehicle enters. You'll miss the sign because it's on the left of the vehicle and you'll be to busy trying to line up the right tire to the track. I did some research online. This is a common issue when car washes do no replace their rollers. The mops/rollers will tear and snag on to anything they can. Lastly, if they haven't maintained their rollers I can only imagine the micro scratches your car is receiving with these old, dirty, torn rollers. read more

Started at $3 but then went to $4. Still not a bad deal except for half the vacuums are closed all the time. To top it off, if the half that aren't coned off are full, they don't let you wait till one frees up and instead force you to leave. Car wash service is awesome, the vacuum afterwards is free which is cool but what is the most awesome is the customer service! I was vacuuming my car and accidentally sucked up a bottom on my dash. I asked the worker if he was able to open the vacuum can to see if we could find it. With a smile, he didn't hesitate to help me. He looked through that entire trash can! But we couldn't find the button, by this time another guy had come to help him. I told them thank you for going above and beyond for trying to find some tiny button but I said to not worry about it. As I drove off, they waved me down to let me know they found the button lodged in the hose!! They don't know it but they made my day, for them to be so nice and caring about something pretty much meaningless that doesn't effect them at all. read more

This was was one of the best "handsfree" car washes I have been to in the Virginia beach area. Yes, there were some missed marks but overall for a wash I wasn't doing myself it was great. I came in at the last minute and was still able to get a wash and the Free car vacuums gave me a good in-car clean that I haven't gotten since I lived in Texas. Coastal Breeze is an awesome car wash the staff is very attentive and there to take care of any of your concerns or needs. To those purchasing the monthly payment washes a very strong word of advice, apparently the sensor that reads your pass is extremely sensitive AND WILL read the car ahead of you "if" you are too close to it when you are next in line so give yourself MORE than enough distance between you and the car ahead as that car can literally take your wash AND add any extras at YOUR expense. They neglect to tell you this upon purchasing the pass and there isn't an attendant regulating the cars coming thru anymore, you are typically informed when you ask for assistance because your pass isn't working much to the chagrin of the car ahead of you. They really need to fix this and I hope they do going forward yet all in all a darn good carwash. read more
