I was honestly a little nervous that the experience here in Virginia wouldn't measure up. Thanks to Brendan's professionalism, communication, and attentiveness, my worries were completely put at ease. He made the entire process smooth and pleasant, and I truly appreciated how well I was taken care of. Unfortunately, after the repair was completed, I discovered multiple bolts and nuts were only hand-tightened and had not been torqued to the required specifications. Considering this involves critical suspension and subframe components, this was a serious safety concern. Because I no longer had confidence in the quality of the work performed, I chose to take the vehicle to another shop and pay to have the repair inspected and corrected properly rather than return it to the facility that performed the original work. Mistakes happen, but leaving safety-related components loose after a recall repair is unacceptable. A basic quality-control inspection should have caught this before the vehicle was released. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves its workmanship and inspection process before someone gets hurt.

After Mike got done working on it and I took it down Tidewater on the way home the bike ran like brand new. Of course it helped that I had drained the tank before putting it into storage. My jeep was in the shop so I wasn't able to buy one then. I went in and talked to CAMERON THE GENERAL MANAGER, he showed me the ATV and I asked if I was able to test drive the ATV. He asked for my license and I gave it to him. I rode down their road for maybe 4 seconds. I was trying to do a U-turn only to see CAMERON THE GENERAL MANAGER, chasing me down on a dirt bike and yelling something. I went into the main road to turn around and at this point he is right next to me. He cursed at me to "turn the fuck around" and I told him that's exactly what I am already doing.... We get back to the dealership and he asked me "so what did you think?" I said what was that about, did you think i was trying to steal this? He said "you never know" I asked him if people have come here to steal before he said "well they tried but i chased them with my dirt bike." I told him I'm not sure how many thieves text you from their personal number, drive their personal vehicle, and give you their license before they would steal something. I'm wondering if those same thieves were just people that requested a test drive like me. I asked for my license back and left. He did try to claim he was chasing me because I was in the main road, but he was flying down the street before I even turned into the main road so I know that is not true, it's an excuse. Extremely embarassing . I do not adivse you to buy here if you are a person of color.

I asked him for an itemized receipt and he couldn't even do that so he sat at his computer and typed up a receipt that still doesn't show an itemization of what was done. Was also telling me that the part for my car is on a national back order but at this point, I really don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. He actually confessed to never calling me or giving me a price and still is not giving me my mom's vehicle. Wants me to pay money even though he never asked for approval and give me a price for the guy he had come out. Yeah no. This guy is terrible. I took my car to this shop after some locals recommended it to me. My engine was making interesting…read morenoises and was losing coolant and I wanted them to try to figure it out. They told me what they thought the issue was and that I shouldn't drive the vehicle. They told me that if I had the work done with them they would waive the diagnostic fee. They quoted me a price for the rebuild and told me 3 weeks. After receiving the parts, it took them 7 weeks and 2 days to get the car back to me. During this time, they decided to not waive the diagnosis fees and added extra fees without discussing them with me. I had to call them every week to get an update and they never updated the timeline. For reference during this time, my other vehicle had $10k worth of body damage repaired from a drunk driver hit and run in 3 weeks and they called me every week during the repair to let me know how things were going. After receiving the car, it sounded worse than before. They stated that my timing chain tensioner needed to be replaced (this was replaced 4000 miles ago) and that my vacuum reservoir was cracked. The vacuum reservoir was in fact fine, they had connected my vacuum hosing to a check valve backward. The "timing chain noise" was in fact an improperly torqued bolt from their engine rebuild. I called to request a partial refund due to improper work, as I had to pay another shop to figure out the improperly torqued bolt. They offered me a small partial refund and said that they would mail me a check. Well, it has been almost 6 weeks now and I have not received a check. It's very frustrating to pay over $2k for an engine rebuild minus parts and get this kind of service. I don't believe I would ever take my vehicle back to this ship which sadly renders the "warranty" they offer useless. Overall terrible experience.

Despite the amount of money I spent and the time the vehicle was in their possession, I got the car back with the same issues I originally brought it in for. New parts had been installed, but the underlying problems were still there. Ultimately, I had no choice but to scrap the vehicle. In my opinion, the mechanic's work was incompetent, and I feel I paid a substantial amount of money without receiving the repairs I was promised. Unfortunately, my experience didn't end there. After I posted a negative review, the owner began calling me from a restricted number, screaming profanity at me and then hanging up. In my opinion, that behavior is extremely unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a business owner dealing with a dissatisfied customer. I'm sharing this review so that potential customers understand that my experience reflects the current ownership and should not necessarily be compared with reviews from before the ownership change.
