Left with a bitter taste this time. I'm a returning customer and man, did this place change a lot. The first time I went in and had my Tundra tinted and it was lights out. From the service to the quality of the job, and the information I received. I was so impressed. I recommend this shop to all my friends and family. Especially because it's veteran owned and I'm active. Had at least 3 people follow suit and use this place for their tints. Well, I guess the jig is up. I went in wanting exactly what I got last visit, 20% all the way around. Front windows to match the back. Seemed simple enough. Just like last time. Instead I was charged 500 dollars for well, not that. The front windows don't match the rear at all, and there's bubbles in the tint. (Still waiting to see if the bubbles disappear after a few days) Granted I did make a mistake and didn't notice the truck had extremely light tint on it to begin with which the boss said he didn't notice until he rolled the windows down either (I bought the truck two days before) regardless I don't mind the $50 fee for removal. That's fine, but the whole experience felt extremely rushed. I arrived 15 minutes early as I always do for pretty much everything and then my tint job went from $200 to $500 because of the completely different job I was sold. Not sure if it's because the company wanted to expand and get a front desk clerk who sprints out the door at exactly 5pm and an assistant tint tech who was stressed about a softball game (might of been his kid's game so I can understand a little bit) or what but I'm really bummed and disappointed. Definitely not happy with the service nor the quality of the product/job whatsoever, especially this being one of the highest priced tint jobs in the entire area. I will not be returning to get any more of my vehicles tinted nor recommending to anyone else after this. read more

I had a great experience here! Prior to finding this place through a friend, I had gone to TNT tinting, among other "big", well-known tinting places. I had a specific need and that was to have my windshield tint removed for an inspection. I was told over and over that this "couldn't be done", that it would "break my windshield" or that it was a "huge liability". They were trying to sell me a new windshield and all these other ridiculous options. I thought this was all bullshit, so I decided to come to Portsmouth where I was told to speak with Michah (hope that's spelled right). First, let me start by saying what lifesavers Brandon and Micah are. I (stupidly) took my car to this IDIOT at Millennium Window Tinting because he was slightly cheaper. As soon as I picked my car up, I knew what an awful mistake I had made. There were bubbles, hair, dirt, you name it in my tint. It was even cut too short on the back windshield! I immediately took my car to Sun Blocked to see what they could do. They instantly took the tint off of my rear windshield before more damage could be done. They were able to get me in the next day to take off the rest of the tint and re-tint my car. They are extremely knowledgable, professional, honest, and all around good guys. They were so good that I drove to Carolina the same day and came back with my other car. I highly HIGHLY recommend them, and for the love of God, whatever you do, DO NOT go to Brian at Millennium Window Tinting!!! read more

Don't know what happened to this business but customer service has gone way down. I had one vehicle tinted here previously (2014) and everything was great. Got an appointment, quality tint install, in and out in no time. Two years later, I have a new vehicle and I've called three times to try and set up an appointment and failed to do so all three times. Person answering the phone was always curt and rude. When I ask for availability on a certain date, he answers with, "nope don't think so". I would pause to see if he would offer an alternative date but he would never offer one. I understand if your business is getting big and appointment availability is getting slimmer but at least try to work with returning or potentially new customers. Imagine if you had to come back to them for a warranty issue? What kind of treatment will you get then? There are many tinting businesses in the area that are just as good and have better customer service. You have options, skip this one. read more
