Zappa, C.W.Stoneking, you don't hear this music anywhere around here. Started with an old fashioned which feature a "well bourbon" for happy hour. Don't recommend. Ordered two of the small plates and the highlight was the Thai shrimp. They were huge (12s?) and just fried crispy enough. The chicken wings got the job done. Came with 9, but my GLP drugs only tolerated 6. Overall I would try again, but with Bulleit Rye and just the shrimp. Or the fish and chips.

We were in a hurry because we had to get ready for an event, but as soon as we walked in we were seated right away. The first thing I saw when I looked at the menu, was a Carajillo (Which I was pleasantly surprised that they had it on the menu. It's one of my favorite drinks, especially when I need a caffeine boost and at that time I definitely did!!) I wasn't planning on drinking alcohol, but it was so perfect that I ended up having 2 of them!! Lol For food, I ordered the smash burger and got fries instead of the salad. It was pretty yummy! My cousin's wife ordered the Baba Ganoush and it was delicious!! I was pretty impressed because we had no expectations!

The food came out a little slow though but worth it. Starters: Brussel Sprouts: 5/5 delicious and made well. The skin lightly fried but not charred. The dish balance with pieces of bacon and the cheese plays well with the balsamic vinegar. Rib rolls: 4/5 The shredded short ribs could be a bit more moist and flavorful but pairs very well the horseradish aioli. Chicken Alfredo: 5/5 likely on the of the best Alfredo I have had. Grilled chicken was perfect not too dry and flavorful and the noodles cooked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful but not too heavy with cream like most places. Meat Lover Pizza: 4/5 Solid pizza! Well balanced and not overly salty. French Onion Patty Melt: 5/5 Perfect medium cook and delicious. Not too salty. Onions savory and sweet. Perfect crunch of the bread. Chicken Caprese: 4/5 It was good. Pesto brought a nice brightness to balance the heaviness of the fried chicken. Overall: 5/5 a great place that delivers well on their food. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes. You don't leave feeling overall full due to the richness of the dishes

Worst chicken piccata ever experienced...Chewy chicken, poor sauce for sure. No capers. Sauce was thick and starchy. Eggplant and chicken parm was meh. Quality was so so. Red sauce was pretty good. My wife had the beet salad, it was low quality everything. They subbed arugula for lettuce mix. Walnuts were heavily coated in sugar brittle. But my 10 year did like his bruschetta. A+ Need to up their game. I feel like quality is really suffering here. Monday night....maybe the chef was out.

Once seated, we placed our orders for drinks. One of the drinks ordered were a martini and it was brought out in a wine glass? My husband told the waiter we ordered a martini and he said sorry they were out of glasses. We decided to order appetizers and our server said he needed to place our dinner orders at the same time as the appetizers. We were given paper menus but the tables next to ours had actual menus as well? We decided on the Fried Calamari, Roasted Artichokes and the Burrata. For dinner we ordered the Tortellini and the Bronzino. The appetizers were just okay, however, we really enjoyed the Tortellini and the Bronzino - both were delicious. We saw other tables getting baskets of bread but we never got any. Our drinks were not good, and the service was not great. I know this was Christmas Eve but it was disappointing.

And they have pizza and BBQ on the weekends to take home. Think of it as a mini DiBruno's or Carlino's and you get the idea. Being lazy and hungry we decided to try the newly renovated cafe for a take out lunch last Saturday. My wife enjoyed a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with apples that was pretty good. I decided to try the signature grilled rib eye steak sandwich. It's not like a steak sandwich but a big, sliced steak in a sandwich. I ordered it rare (of course) and it's served on a steak roll with lettuce, tomato, and basil mayo and a side of French fries. It was delicious and cooked perfectly and I would get it every time. At $19 it's not cheap (and it's messy to eat with stuff dripping and slipping everywhere) but it's like having an actual steak and a sandwich all in one. I would gladly eat this every time I go there. You can eat inside the cafe or they have a couple of (rusty) tables outside where you can nibble (and in my case dribble). We also took home a mini frozen Shepards pie (just ok) and some big type of big beans (pretty good) from the charcuterie. It's a great option for some meats, eats, and cheeses if you want to save yourself a trip to West Chester, Ardmore, or Philly.

Even as a part of 7, we were seated a lot faster than I expected. Noisy inside with a lot of groups dining, but it was not hard to have a conversation amongst ourselves, even with being seated next to the front door. Seems like most of the comments here are regarding the wait for service. I'd say the only really annoying part here was waiting for our food, which took a lot longer than we expected. A few tables that were seated around the same time as us got served and left before we got our food. Otherwise, the food here was fantastic. I had the mushroom omelet, but also tried the eggs benedict, Greek salad, and mushroom that others at my table ordered. They definitely feed of the mushroom hype in the Kennett Square area, but the mushrooms here are definitely something else, in the good way. I'd recommend the place for anyone in the area visiting Longwood Gardens. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially with a large group around meal times. This place seems popular and packed!
