So very good. The Naked Olive was a recommendation for our trip to Kennet Square. We dined early, 5pm. Over the next hour the restaurant grew to a busy humm. Our friendly server Mackenzie, started us off with black and green olives and oil, with warm bread. So soft and yummy we ate all of it. We ordered the short rib egg roll. What an unusual presentation. The bread like roll was cut horizontally on the diagonal. Very filling. We shared the arugula grape salad and pesto gnocchi. Honesty, deliciously over stuffed, we managed to order dessert of baklava. Reasonable prices, ample parking and outdoor dining.

My family was EXTREMELY pleased with our experience at the Naked Olive, a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in Kennett Square. From the hostesses to the waitress to the chef to the owner, the service was great all around. The restaurant itself, in addition, is absolutely beautiful. We loved the cozy, yet sophisticated and earthy vibes. There's enough variable space that you can get a different experience each time without feeling like you're sitting on top of someone else. They also had a lovely heated patio space. Our waitress, Hannah, was lovely. She was super attentive and was even friendly enough to laugh at our jokes (whether they were funny or not). She was also kind enough to share all the specials and was attentive to every need. Major compliments to the chef here. We had 0 complaints about the food and it was all beautiful. We ordered the fried mozzarella ($13) and spanakopita ($10) as appetizers and both were delish. For entrees we ordered the steak frites ($39), braised lamb shank ($40), seafood cioppino ($38), and the sea bass special. The food was phenomenal and presented so well. At the end of our meal, we had the opportunity to speak with co-owner, Dimitri, who was very personable and welcoming. This is a must try if you're in the area!

If you ever find yourself in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and visit The Naked Olive! OH. MY. GOODNESS was this place fun to visit, and the food was PHENOMENAL! Order the breaded eggplant sandwich, grape salad, and more! We have to give our server Mark a shoutout as well. He made the experience even better. Probably one of the best servers we've ever had. Ask for Mark for sure! He was AWESOME! It has fun decor as well. What a great experience!

First time here, four of us for dinner. We had the Spaghetti De La Nona, Kennett Square Mushroom Melt, Grilled Whole Bronzino and a Classic Caesar Salad. Everything was very good . The Mushroom Melt was the hit o, the evening. We took half of one home to have the next day, and it was great warmed up in the microwave. The spaghetti was good, and I am not sure if they make their own red sauce or if it was canned, it was good but not the best in the area. This is a BYOB, so if you want a drink, make sure you bring your own. For dessert, I had a citrus infused crème brûlée it was very good, it's not on the menu, but it was a special that night. Atmosphere is a little bland however the noise level is low. Service was very good and not rushed. There is plenty of parking. I would visit again.

Came for dinner on Christmas Eve and it was packed. We were seated in a booth and our server Brittney opened our champagne and placed our appetizers. For dinner we had the Pesto Gnocchi, Chicken Alfredo and the Seafood Cioppino. Everything was amazing from start to finish. We always have a great time here. The service & food is terrific. Can't wait for their new restaurant to open in Newark!

Weather cancelled our plans at Longwood so we stopped at The Naked Olive for dinner before heading back home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The food was excellent, nicely plated and the service was what you might find in a much more expensive restauraunt. I had the mushroom veloutte and a Greek salad, a shared plate of lamb pops and my husband had the tabouli salad. We finished with baklava and ice cream. All delicious and portions were filling. Would definitely return.

We had a fun, relaxing dinner on the outside terrace, with very good service and excellent food. Branzino over broccolini and rice was superb. Chicken Lemonde was sumptuous. The Castilla burger was one of the best veggie burgers around. We appreciated the very reasonable corkage fee for BYOB wine. After appetizers and salad, we were too full for dessert, which will have to wait until we return to The Naked Olive on our next visit to Longwood Gardens.

Stopped in after a Yelp search. The NO came up under "local favorites" and "top rated restaurants" for the area. The NO was also fairly close to my hotel which was a plus. Plenty of on site parking which seems to be unusual around here. The restaurant is a BYOB so no alcohol is served but you can bring your own. I had the raspberry tea which was delightful almost addictive. From the greater/hostess to the servers the service was exceptional. There was a birthday party going on and a fairly busy nice but I still got (3) refills. I chose the Santorini By the Sea as my supper. It was amazing. The hint of mustard in the garlic and was Devine. It added a finishing complexity that was tantalizing. The large shrimp were good but the mussels were delectable. Excellent meal and the juice was excellent for soaking the bread in. Oh my!!!!!! So good. Now the birthday party peaked my interest and my sugar cravings went wild so I was enticed into having a delicious lemon mousse cake. It was delicious. Very light and creamy. Definitely a place to add to my list so I can return.

Very cute, chic spot! It's a bit further down in Kennet square so we almost missed it but I'm glad that we didn't. The interior is very modern and they have a closed in, heated patio. It is a BYOB. We had an array of items but our favorite were the chef's board (taste of Italy), the spaghetti pomodoro, and the pesto gnocchi. The mozzarella sticks and bread were also amazing! The pasta was very light and the sauces had great flavor. Everything we ate tasted fresh and made with high quality ingredients, even the olive oil for the bread. The service was awesome - our waitress checked on us multiple times, made recommendations and our food came out quickly. Highly recommend- would like to go back and try their pizza and/or the risotto

Purchasing the suggested pairings (ahead of time) added to the overall experience. We also had wines that were brought on preference and the paired wines won out every time as they perfectly complemented the prepared courses. Our two servers were friendly and attentive, explaining every course and refilling our wines without asking. Present, yet out of the way. The atmosphere is very cozy in the back of the cafe at Talula's Table - the original table as opposed to the smaller kitchen table added a few years back. Reservations still take a year (though it's easier to snag a cancelation or weekday as they recently added online reservations in April 2026). However, it was well worth the wait (and I'm not sure why I waited so long to try it)! We left stuffed between the hors d'oevres, eight courses, bread, surprise course, and plenty of wine to wash everything down. We experienced the Spring 2026 menu and look forward to dining again in another season.

And they have pizza and BBQ on the weekends to take home. Think of it as a mini DiBruno's or Carlino's and you get the idea. Being lazy and hungry we decided to try the newly renovated cafe for a take out lunch last Saturday. My wife enjoyed a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with apples that was pretty good. I decided to try the signature grilled rib eye steak sandwich. It's not like a steak sandwich but a big, sliced steak in a sandwich. I ordered it rare (of course) and it's served on a steak roll with lettuce, tomato, and basil mayo and a side of French fries. It was delicious and cooked perfectly and I would get it every time. At $19 it's not cheap (and it's messy to eat with stuff dripping and slipping everywhere) but it's like having an actual steak and a sandwich all in one. I would gladly eat this every time I go there. You can eat inside the cafe or they have a couple of (rusty) tables outside where you can nibble (and in my case dribble). We also took home a mini frozen Shepards pie (just ok) and some big type of big beans (pretty good) from the charcuterie. It's a great option for some meats, eats, and cheeses if you want to save yourself a trip to West Chester, Ardmore, or Philly.

I wasn't sure what to make of it as I would have expected a full house on a Saturday night. I'm going to start with a few opportunities. First, the initial glass of water I was brought was not clean. There was literally some food on the side of it. Second and keeping on the topic of water, the waiter did not come back to fill empty glasses of water. Next, I was looking forward to the tomato garlic bread but it was hard when I but into it. Finally, my counterpart ordered a burger and after eating about half of the burger, each bite was like biting into a pallet of salt. It was like someone accidentally spilled a salt shaker so he obviously couldn't finish it. On the positive side, the place was quiet which was nice, the manager (or maybe it was even the owner) when we asked for more water bought us a carafe so we didn't run out again (which I love), and also when we left I accidentally forgot my takeout container on the table and again the manager (or owner) ran out after us to get it to us which I appreciated so much. Relative to the food, it was average (minus the salt side of the burger which was not good). The soft pretzel appetizer was good and I had lasagne which was decent enough. I will say it was a huge lasagne portion (two squares)! Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back with so many other options.
