A local cafe, bakery, foods, and gourmet restaurant at night gem. We brought various foods and baked good for our dinners at our hotel. Everything were delicious, especially the mushroom soup. We went back the next day to buy mushroom soups to take back to Baltimore, all was sold out by 12 noon. Disappointed, but we brought more baked and other food to take back. Employees we were very efficient and extremely friendly. Prices were appropriate for such high quality foods.
I stopped by Talulas during the mushroom festival and they had a great menu for the day! Risotto, mac & cheese, and soup... Of course everything with mushrooms!! Mushroom soup was perfect for the rainy day and was topped with the most delicious croutons. Quite a large portion for 10 bucks. Would love to visit the restaurant again!
Beautiful small place selling delicious specialty foods. There are 2 tables to sit. Mostly take out. Packaged and fresh foods. They have home cooked mushroom soup that is amazing. Also we purchased mushroom risotto. To die for. There is a table set up with samples to try. The mushroom dip was AMAZING! Couldn't get enough. There was also a cheese infused with mushroom. Also very good. Very pretty place with some scrumptious foods. A must!
It's a grab and go place. Not many tables inside just one long communal with 8 chairs and a booth that sits 4. They can heat whatever up for you though like the pastries, soups and sandwiches. I had the chicken soup which was good. It was a light broth and had spinach and corn in it. The chicken pieces were chunked and some were chewy. My friend got a huge scone she really liked. I got the ham and cheese croissant but they gave it to me in a baguette instead so they let me keep that one which was nice and got me the one I ordered. The croissant was much better, very flaky and delicious. Lots of ham and cheese. There is a bathroom in the back and a bunch of premade and packaged food you can buy. The flourless chocolate cake was fudgy but left a bad taste in my mouth.
Such a cute cafe and market! We actually stopped in twice on Saturday. First we got drinks and scones for breakfast and sat at one of the little tables out front! I got the Passion Iced Palmer and a Strawberry Rhubarb Scone and both were delicious! Then went back to grab a Caprese Sandwich and some chips to go. The bread on the sandwich got a little soggy but other than that tasted great. I thought the prices were decent compared to other spots in the area and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be going back because there were so many more things I wanted to buy.
Amazing. I'm so grateful for these people. I am in a new neighborhood and ordered take out after a long day of training. While en route, my phone directions stopped working and I was driving around in circles! I finally figured out where Talula's is, just minutes before they closed. But of course since I had been driving around I had to use the bathroom. They let me use their bathroom, then I needed the wifi password so I could connect yin the internet to get directions back home! It was one minute before close at this point, and most places will rush you out or make you feel like a burden. But everyone was so kind and helpful. I stood outside while connected to wifi to find my directions, and the lady came OUTSIDE to ME to make sure I was still okay and asked me if I needed anything else!!!! Like literally never had such sweet customer service. And of course, the food was phenomenal but that should come at no surprise. I loved the chicken fingers, mushroom soup, and the roast beef sandwich. Very comfortable environment and decor. I would give six stars if I could.
If you follow my Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure you know I love my kids and dog NOT other people's kids and dogs. It was early and just about everybody had a kid or dog. I went into Talula's with much hesitation. To my utmost joy they have the breakfast sandwiches, wrpapped and ready to go out the door. I got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. It had a very good zesty flavor. The people ordering drinks had a much longer wait. I'm glad I wasn't one of them.
Four of us ventured out to the opening night of Talulah's Table, for an 8 course dinner. As we arrived and were seated at the store-front nook, our two servers relieved us of the wines we brought, having chosen them based on the menu preview provided a week prior to the occasion. Once we were all served, a brief description of the preparation for each selection was announced by our poised server. Each plated offering was artistically crafted and savory to our senses. Throughout the evening, without explanation, the staff kept our appropriately configured wine glasses filled with the perfect complementary pairing. This event was a unique and unforgettable dining experience to be repeated and delightfully anticipated. Service: 5/5 Dinner menu for "Vivid Autumn Moments" Lox & Latkes: gravlax, beet relish, herbs, labneh Pan-Fried Halloumi: balsamic figs, bomba rice, brown butter, marcona almond Pâté en Croûte: troy's apples, pistachio, cider, sage, mustard cream Ricotta Gnoudi: honeynut squash fonduta, cauliflower gremolata, thyme, parmesean Seared Scallop Bearnaise: broccoli, anchovy, chilies, olive Duck Mole: root hash, brussel sprouts Muschroom & Triple Cream Crepe: kennett square conserve, rosemary Ginger Crisp: caramelized pears, cranberry
Amazing birthday celebration for my wife last night'. BYOB with advice on wine pairings sent in advance. Service impeccable. Ambiance wonderful. Food very gourmet and healthy. Only area for improvement would be more comfortable chairs. read more
Review specifically for dining, not cafe. Spectacular evening with friends at the Farm Table! From start to finish, everything was delightful! Purchasing the suggested pairings (ahead of time) added to the overall experience. We also had wines that were brought on preference and the paired wines won out every time as they perfectly complemented the prepared courses. Our two servers were friendly and attentive, explaining every course and refilling our wines without asking. Present, yet out of the way. The atmosphere is very cozy in the back of the cafe at Talula's Table - the original table as opposed to the smaller kitchen table added a few years back. Reservations still take a year (though it's easier to snag a cancelation or weekday as they recently added online reservations in April 2026). However, it was well worth the wait (and I'm not sure why I waited so long to try it)! We left stuffed between the hors d'oevres, eight courses, bread, surprise course, and plenty of wine to wash everything down. We experienced the Spring 2026 menu and look forward to dining again in another season. read more
This review is only on the chai latte I got here. We stopped in to check out the market. Their gourmet market has a lot of unique finds and yummy sounding goodies. Do know that the prices are high here. It's a really charming shop though. We were welcomed in and someone by the cheese counter was excited to tell us more about the cheeses they had. We tried a really nice cheddar. After exploring the shop, we decided to get some drinks. My friend ordered a seasonal strawberry matcha she really enjoyed and I got a delicious (very sweet) chai latte that was cozy for our walk in town. They have a lot of drink options here. I'd return and try more. read more

Just got home from an absolutely amazing time at Talula's Table for the tasting dinner. We heard about this restaurant being one of the hardest places to get a reservation for, and we waited a year for this experience. Well worth the wait! We started with a few complimentary amuse bouches, went through the entire menu, and ended with extra complimentary sweets and cappachinos! We were so stuffed at the end. The plating was thoughtful, the food was delicious, and the servers were kind and professional, never letting a glass go empty with wine or water. It's honestly some of the best service I have ever gotten, and I've eaten at restaurants all over the world, michelin and mom and pop stores. The chefs and servers were careful to bring out special dishes and drinks to my Muslim friends (no pork and alcohol) and were attentive to any of our needs. The ambiance at night is totally different than the day time as well, really communal and intimate with strong lights and comfy seating. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, even if it means waiting another year! Thanks again to Kate and Meagan for taking such good care of us! read more
Cinnamon bun scone was sooo good!! The flourless chocolate cake was delish too! I tried the chagalatte and I was a big fan. It's got mushroom blend in it with some mocha and coffee. My sister got ginger caramel oat milk latte and it was super super good. Service was so friendly. Loved how it was connected to a baked good/kitchen type of thing. Ambiance was relaxed and chill!! read more

Ventured here on an amazing co mystery picnic and got our mini cheese board. While here I decided to also give their frozen chai spice, which was being advertised as a special, a try and so glad we did. For the first weekend in fall, this had all of the fall vibes and was such a yummy seasonal treat! The shabby chic vibes inside were a great touch, and this would definitely be a great spot to return when we decide to make our next cheese board! read more

Fantastic place with fantastic service. Super hard to get a reservation but it was well worth the year wait (!!!) we were immediately welcomed with a bunch of appetizers and bread baskets with so much variety and each with its own great modern twist to the type of bread like honeyed sourdough. We continued to receive things that were not listed on the fixed menu as complimentary sides. I really enjoyed all the mushroom dishes that featured the town's specialty. Definitely worth the experience, even for the kind service alone. The food all felt really fresh and never heavy, and the use of cream in a bunch of the dishes were really well balanced. Highly recommend! read more

SO AMAZING! Came here on a Sunday evening with my entire family to celebrate my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. We were seated right away in the back private room. All staff was super attentive, friendly, and adhered to Covid protocols. The food was amazing..... everything from the small appetizers, to the breads (the corn bread muffins with the honey butter and the baguette were out of this world), to the main meals were delicious. Dessert was so cool, loved the plating on everything as well. Amazing flavors, such a cool experience! My favorite was between the tuna tartare, the ravioli, and the beef. I will 100% definitely be back for another occasion! read more

Talula's Table is a pretty unique store. Gourmet market place during the day time, then at night closes its door to small groups for a farmhouse, gourmet, set-course meal dinner. I was first made aware of this place by a relative, who told me reservations can only be made 1 year in advance almost on the dot at 7am, and it was no joke. However, you might be able to squeeze an imprompt reservation if ones are cancelled, though it's not guaranteed. A bunch of colleagues and mine decided to make a reservation, and we finally got to come! They message you around 1 month in advance asking for food restrictions, then they send you suggested wine pairings. Overall, AMAZING (pricey) experience! We arrived and the store was still somewhat opened to the public (waiting for those who are already in to leave). Street parking was easy to find. The area is a very quaint, small-town feel. We were able to start drinking wine and tapas were being served (1 serving per person), and honestly probably one of the best tapas I've ever had. We were then seated and we had a 7-course meal, with each course beautifully explained by the server. They were ALL delicious. In the end, we paid a hefty price of greater than $100 per person. Was it worth it? I'd say yes for the experience, but I can imagine some who would not think it's worth it. Would I come to this again? YES! But only for very special occasions. Do I recommend this place? YES! Come at least once in your life for the experience if you live around this area. Pros: Amazing atmosphere, cool experience, awesome staff Cons: Price, making reservations 1 year in advance read more
Prepared foods (meals, soups, etc) for taking home and heating. Selection of cheeses, crackers, spreads, coffee. We purchased the $15 cheeseboard that came with nuts, grapes, honey, toast, and a selection of hard cheeses). It was fantastic! Highly recommend. We also got crackers and a goat cheese cranberry spread. This was also very good. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely worth a stop when in Kennet Square. read more

This adorable little coffee shop/deli is the perfect spot to grab a tasty meal and cup of coffee or espresso beverage. It's great for grab-and-go style, but there's also ample seating if you'd like to sit and enjoy your selections in house. They offer both healthy and indulgent breakfast treats like quiche, frittata, breakfast burritos, smoothies, fresh fruit, and pastries. I've had the quiche, frittata, breakfast burrito, and a scone and they were all amazing. I also tried their chia seed pudding and it was so so soooo good! The ingredients were clearly listed as well, which I always enjoy. It's refreshing to know what you're eating. Service is always quick, friendly, and accommodating, and I'm always greeted quickly and with a smile. Although I was only in the area for a short while, I know I'll make a point of coming here in the future if I'm anywhere near this adorable cafe. read more
