MC (Master of Cheese!) Bill, my wife and me, and the real star of the show -- great cheese!

I will visit Town Clock Cheese Shop again! You may be able to find more cheese elsewhere... but you can't find MC (Master of Cheese) Bill anywhere else. We picked up fantastic cheeses, after Bill explained each one's flavor. My wife even enjoyed types of cheese she never liked... and tasted all the flavors Bill described.

Are you a cheese fan? If you are, this is a destination shopping event for you. As an aficionado, I pride myself of having tried and experienced many, many (many!) cheeses. I came out of here with 5 different, wonderful, exotic cheeses that I have never even heard of before, at very reasonable price points. Probably good that my cheesemonger is not right around the corner - it might facilitate my addiction. If you have a hankering for something truly different, find your way to Town Clock. Bring a bottle of wine, and enjoy an exceptional taste experience.

    Some great worldly cheese!

If you get to go through the gap in eastern Pennsylvania, the town clock cheese shop is a must stop for anybody who love cheeses. Bill has some of the finest cheeses from around the world. Whether you like cheddar, Swiss a mix of other cheeses, blue cheese, Gouda you name it he's got it! some of the best you can find and he's a pretty funny guy as well. He can also educate you on cheeses too! Enjoy!

This review is based off the pre-prepared/grocery side of the store (although we will CERTAINLY be…read moreback for the restaurant side.) While in town, we wandered in wishing we had already grabbed some baked goods earlier in the day. And with a mission to acquire some meat for the grill later in the day. Immediately we were met with a variety of whoopie pies (we got a traditional one and cookie one, both delicious), and most of all the BEST cinnamon roll we have ever feasted on. Not only was it tremendous but it was perfectly gooey, and the buttercream (or at least that's how it tasted) frosting in lieu of traditional icing blew it out of the water. We also grabbed some chicken bacon burgers which we grilled up and really enjoyed. Just wished the patties were initially bigger. We ended up putting 2 and 2 (out of the 4) together to make burgers which would actually survive the grill. In general the selection is everything you'd imagine in Amish country combined into one little place. Prices were excellent, quality was great. Definitely stop in!

This was my first trip to Lancaster County, PA. My daughter and I took a buggy ride and wanted to…read morewalk to a spot for lunch. Perusing Yelp, I saw Stoltzfus (a local last name that was mentioned by our buggy guide) and it was a deli/restaurant- you had me at meat! You order at a walk up counter, get a buzzer, wait as they make it fresh, get buzzed, and pick your order up. Plenty of clean seating is available. The Philly cheesesteak was awesome! Lots of meat, tender but substantial roll, and hot! I got it sauced - this was new for me. I was thinking cheese sauce, but it was a red sauce. I loved it regardless ( my daughter wasn't as happy - not because it tasted bad, but she wasn't expecting it). We didn't have to wait to order, but once we were eating-the line was easily 25-30 deep. The eating section is called Amos' Place. The meat section is Stoltzfus Meats. A wonderland of fresh, frozen, and refrigerated meats and all the accompanying side dishes! There is also a very good selection of baked goods, spices, and munchies. Oh, the white root beer was good! I will definitely be back!
