My husband and I eat here nearly every time we visit Barron Lake (about twice a month). Their omelettes are cooked to order. The Greek chicken is a MUST!!! Along with the Greek salad and baklava. The chicken and rice soup is another favorite. Their ice cream is good too. The service is always spectacular and everyone always takes good care of us whether we dine in or carry out read more

Been going here before every Notre Dame game I've gone to since I was a squirt. Staff is great, food tasty and keep me filled up until game time. NEVER had a bad experience here, and that's at least 25 years. read more

I have NEVER had a bad meal here in my life. Today.... OMG!!! Beyond the best! Steak was perfect. Eggs were perfect. Just PERFECT. I must also give props for consistency. Always, consistently, GOOD. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two about efficient operations from Prime Table. read more

Absolutely fantastic breakfast!! the Service and food were both great. Plenty of room! Would highly recommend if you're in the area

Everything here is "Okay" Nothing is bad, but there's not a lot to write home about either. Except for their Baked 1/2 chicken. It's only available on Sunday as a special and it is always phenomenal. If you are going to eat here, go on a Sunday and get the baked chicken. The servers are ALWAYS friendly and attentive. They work really hard to make your experience the best it can be. You can tell a lot is expected of them as the owner is almost always present and seems to be the type to hover over them and be very stern and strict. Whatever it is she does, it seems to work. The service is always on point. read more

We took an out-of-town friend here Saturday night. Everything about the Prime Table is top notch; a very nice decent interior but nice and cozy. At such a busy time, (6:30 PM), we were seated right away after being greeted by several of the staff. The manager and others, including our waitress, checked with us many times to see if we needed anything. I ordered the fried chicken dinner, my wife ordered the shrimp stir fry, and our friend ordered the pork chops. They brought our salads right away, which were fresh and very good, (they also had a wide selection of salad dressings). When I saw how good my friends pork chops were, two big chops and about 3/4" thick, I wished that I had ordered them too. He ate everything but the bones, but my chicken was also very tasty with a big baked potato. My wife's stir fry looked very good also and she said it was fine-no other comments about that. Our waitress was very patient and concerned for our needs, while being overly friendly too. All in all, I felt like I was in a very upscale restaurant with prices I can afford. We ate for a little over $15 apiece. One more thing, as busy as they were, the noise level was low enough that we could talk without having to shout to hear each other. Thanks to Prime Table for helping us to entertain our friend with a nice evening. read more

When visiting my dad in Michigan last year, (we're currently in Arkansas), he took us to Prime Table for breakfast one morning. After one meal I was hooked and after a weeks stay we ate there at least 5 out of seven days. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and were never let down. Portions were great, food was excellent, but most noteworthy was the staff. Everyone at the restaurant was happy, friendly and accommodating. My wife has food allergies and the folks at Prime Table were very attentive to her needs. We are already planning a trip back up to see Dad and plan to eat here again! (Sorry for the late review, we're always on the go!!!) read more

We were seated immediately even though the place was full. We got our salads and appetizers right away by the entrees took a bit longer. I got the country fried stark and really liked it, my husband got the ravioli but he said it wasn't very good. Our glasses were empty fairly often but the waitress was very nice, they were pretty busy. The prices are good and they have daily specials. I would eat here again but my husband said he would not. read more

The staff is very pleasant, always smiling and happy to help. The restaurant is clean and tidy, which is wonderful to a Germa a phobe like myself. Every visit we make here is a good one. The BLT is perfectly made (it's my favorite sandwich) and the price is on point! You definitely get what you pay for here. If you're in Niles, looking for a great place to stop for a family meal, this is it. read more

Food here is the best! Waitress was extremely nice. My favorite was their clam chowder! I want them to keep up the great work!

I have been to this restaurant more than a half dozen times. I first ate there when visiting from California. I now live in New York. I wish this place was close to either location. It's a family sort of place with attentive wait staff and a good solid food. They have a variety of specialties daily. Tonight I enjoyed their fried cod. Their salads are garden fresh. I'd take my mother here and she would like it. read more

Without a doubt one of the best sit down restaurants in Niles. Tonight my wife got the country fried steak, which she said was amazing, I got the garlic tilapia. I ordered mashed potatoes and got rice instead, but if I would have known the rice was that good I would have ordered the rice, but my wife ordered soup which we didn't get. Still, if you're looking for a clean restaurant run by good people, this is where you want to go read more

We've been coming here for years and years due to the fact that they have a large variety of great food at reasonable prices. Mary is such a gracious hostess, because she always make you feel welcome and part of her family. We've never had a bad meal or experience here which makes us coming back for more. read more

Extremely poor service. The waitress never asked us how our meal was, forgot to bring us things we asked for. She should be fired immediately. The food was normal. Was no better then Denny's. read more

Been going here for many years...the menu seems the same, as are the waitresses' uniforms. It's a regular mom pop family owned restaurant. The food is pretty good. I've had the prime rib, which is excellent. Their 1/2 lb patty melt was really good, as are the soups. Some of the is specials corm with dessert! read more

This was our first dining experience at the prime table and glad to say it won't be our last! From the time you walk in to the time you leave you are treated with a friendly conversation and smiles. Our server Jennifer was courteous and very prompt. I loved that the waiting staff had uniforms. They looked very neat and professional. The steak was great as well as the burger. Very clean establishment. read more

I cannot thank the management of this restaurant enough for making an exception for me. My son and fiance were in Niles working and I wanted to get them a nice dinner. Prime Table allowed me to order a gift card for them and have it waiting. I got the feeling that is not their usually policy . I explained why I needed it to be there for them to pick up and they said " No Problem" Thank you very much!!! They posted pictures of their meal on Facebook!! You guys are the best. read more

A nice restaurant, but when it's packed on the weekends the service is scrambled just like the eggs.

Excellent service and great food. You won't be disappointed. And the soup is the best!

This is a classic family restaurant. The customers are greeted by name as if they are old friends. The food is homemade , plentiful & tasty. The menu is wide and varied. The split pea soup tonight was probably the best I've ever had. The perch was 3 good size pieces & mashed potatoes enough for 2 people. Such flavor for the value is rare. read more

Best family diner spot around The kids meals are good sized and SO reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and the service is very quick. The menu is extensive and they have weekly breakfast specials. If your child finishes their word find, they even get dessert. They also are helpful with menu substitutes and requests. read more

A nice family style restaurant with a plethora of choices on the menu. Excellent fresh hot food no matter what you order. The service is fast and friendly. Resturant is very clean, well managed, food is good with good portions, and prices are good as well.

We ate here two meals in a row, dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent, the portions were generous and the dessert was delicious. I had a full rack of pork ribs on their weekend special. Fall of the bone tender. A bit too much sauce for my taste, but that was easy enough to scrape off. Hubby had a burger, which he said was very good. We shared the Black Forest cake for dessert, and it as delicious. We decided it was good enough to try again, so we had breakfast there the next morning. Generous portions, and great service again. The home fried potatoes were excellent, the chopped steak was moist and yummy, the crepes with blue berry pie filling were good. And the bacon was excellent. We would definitely go back any time that we are in the area. read more

Excellent spot to meet friends. They have great breakfasts and can accomodate off menu requests. This restaurant has not been updated at all, service was not good nor was the food. The bill shouldn't have been what it was for the food we ordered. I still walked away hungry, Very Disappointed, will Never return or recommend anyone to this place. read more

Great place! Always clean, friendly and delicious meals! Thanks for your 25 years of service to our community.

The only reason this place has regulars is because they are elderly and don't want to drive to Indiana. The food is 'take it or leave it" no substitutions on the budget menu. The regular menu is overpriced for what you get. It's not fresh or something... The atmosphere is is best described as school cafeteria-ish. You know the new kid at school walks into the lunch room and all conversation stops and they get the once over. Even the wait staff patricipate in this practice. You're not sure if they want to refill your drink or talk about you outfit, hairstyle etc. read more

Read the Yelp reviews and thought we would try this place because it was rated rather high. Went for breakfast before the drive home. The food was just so-so. He had a ham and cheese omelet, I had regular breakfast with eggs, potatoes and sausage. Waitress was the WORST! Asked for cream for the coffee...she never returned. Had to ask another waitress, who brought it pronto. When ordering, the waitress told me she would "ask" if I could have 1/2 sausage and 1/2 bacon (doubt that she ever did) and never returned until she brought the food (40 minutes later), it was all sausage. She never came to refill our drinks or check to see how things were. She didn't even come to bring us the check and we had to go to the cashier to pay out. Service was really bad. Food wasn't anything to write home to mama about, either. read more

Large servings of delightful breakfast food all day! Love the Strawberry waffles best!

Pretty decent food, as long as you stick to the American foods (do not order the stir fry). Really good open face sandwiches. Service is decent. However it's extremely cramped and crowded inside. It's extremely difficult for my elderly father to get through the place with a walker. I feel like they need to be in a much larger space. read more
