I don't write many reviews, but The Curve Cafe absolutely deserves the recognition. I schedule my visits around their Crab Cake Eggs Benedict because it's that good. Since it's a special and not always on the menu, I make a point to go whenever it's available. Every single time, it's been perfectly prepared and incredibly consistent. The crab cakes are delicious, the eggs are cooked just right, and the hollandaise sauce is hands down the best I've had in Michiana--even compared to some of the upscale restaurants that charge a lot more for food that doesn't come close. What really sets The Curve Cafe apart is Alex. As the owner, she's the heart and soul of the place, greeting and serving guests while making everyone feel welcome. Her passion for great food and hospitality shines through in every part of the experience. They also serve fantastic mimosas and Bloody Marys, and their Friday fish fry is another local favorite that's well worth checking out. In all the times I've eaten here, I've never had a bad meal. The food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it's exactly the kind of locally owned restaurant our community should be proud to support. If I could convince Alex to franchise this place, I would in a heartbeat. The rest of Indiana deserves to know just how amazing The Curve Cafe is. Five stars without a doubt! read more

My wife just love this place. We moved into the area and were looking for a good breakfast spot. This one fits the bill. The staff are sassy, which we love, and also diligent. They have gluten free options for my wife and I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. They also have plenty of large booths that can fit six, which is good for when we come with friends or family. Stopped by for a late breakfast while in town visiting some close friends. Trusted other yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Very welcoming and local vibe. Service was quick for seating with a laid back atmosphere. Our server Brittany was very nice and attentive throughout our time here. Coffee was fresh and delicious. We all primarily ordered a variety of breakfast items which our entire party agreed hit all the right spots ! Ordered the stuffed cinnamon roll. I thought the cinnamon roll was dipped into batter and made just like French toast is, but this one was plopped in a box and served to me. Hard, ice cold and tasted off. These stuffed cinnamon rolls used to be out of this world and much bigger, came warm and fresh. We used to go all the time until the owner started ignoring me because I complained about one of her rude servers. This place is always busy, but piss the owner off and see how good your food is after. We won't be ordering from here again. I think my cinnamon roll was their way of saying that they don't want our business. read more

Came here for breakfast when another local restaurant wasn't open. The reviews is what led me to give this place a chance however I don't see it. The Curve is always our 'go to' choice for breakfast. Solid food, good service..just a great diner. Don't go for high end but if you like eggs, pancakes and bacon, then this is your place. They are packed on Sunday mornings so be prepared for a wait but the wait is usually pretty quick. read more

We eat in this local cafe often. My husband stops in at least once a day. Today we went for lunch. I ordered the Country friend steak with sausage gravy and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Just the right amount of gravy and potatoes. The steak was not overcooked. Just yummy. Husband had a Cobb salad. He loves that and it didn't disappoint. The Curve staff is friendly and efficient. I've been here twice so far and both times we've had the best service that I've ever had at a cafe -- Alex has been our server both times and she's probably the funniest server I've ever had. Friend and I were in search of mush. It had been a two week search while visiting northern Indiana. Finally a place that said, when called, that they had mush. So off we went to find The Curve Cafe. We walked into what was obviously a well known and frequented cafe. Lots of people and lots of servers. We were seated and I ordered Decaf while friend ordered regular coffee. The decaf was hot and good. I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy and the mush that I had been looking for for two weeks. Friend ordered a hash brown casserole. The biscuits and gravy was hot and needed a touch of pepper to bring out the delicious flavor. The mush was, well, mush. It was hot and tasty. I should have ordered it a bit crispy (like Mom used to make) but it was just as I remembered; comfort food. The server was really nice-didn't catch her name-and attentive. This is a nice place to come for a meal that will never be called upscale but is good solid food. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely come back here. read more

Best family owned restaurant for a great breakfast or lunch. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I personally love their chicken fried steak smothered in sausage gravy, eggs your way and hash browns or American fries. Stick to your ribs delicious! They have all you can eat fish on Fridays. We are hoping if the employee shortage stops being a factor they can open on Friday nights again too. Then they can bring back their yummy polish style dinner. read more

This was really a nice place for breakfast in Mishawaka. This is an independent business and not a chain...so they get a bit of room on the overall experience. The inside of the restaurant was a tad old but charming in its own way. We liked the set up and booths all around for people to eat at. Lots of Townies here. It also was noisy here...you'd swear they just throw the dishes on the floor in the back, but that is just what the noise level is. Nice people...very satisfactory service and while the food came out hot it was not very quick. Expect to stay awhile on busy days, but the wait is pretty much worth it. Since the food at breakfast is the same stuff done 100 different ways, we'll review en mass. We had a breakfast sampler, a breakfast sandwich, and a chicken BLT. The sampler was very nice, the sausage gravy and biscuits steal the show. The breakfast sandwich was ok, a bit overdone but serviceable. The chicken BLT was good...you can dump the BLT stuff and just eat the chicken which was spot on. All in all a nice adventure. Three of us ate for under $24 before tip, so what's to complain about? While you will have to shout at your breakfast mates because of the noise, this is still a happening place. read more

A friend of mine and i were in town recently and wanted to grab a bite to eat before going to a concert over in South Bend. We had some time to kill, and not knowing the area, started driving to see what we could find. I literally passed by this place once and decided go around and come back. It looked like a nice little place to enjoy a sit down dinner. The restaurant did not disappoint. We walked in and were greeted by someone at the register. From the time we sat down til the time we left, everyone was friendly and great to talk to. I tried their All You Can Eat fish special (pollock with your choice of two sides...I had veggie soup and mashed potatoes with the fish) and my friend had a ham and cheese sandwich.
