Stopped here on the way from Chicago to Cleveland for lunch. Service was a bit slow but the 4 egg gyro feta omelet was terrific! Egg was soft and fluffy, gyro meat was great and feta was tasty. The food took long, only saw the waitress twice and then it's the bill there as also the gratuity that is added without you getting changes of tipping. It's not fancy but the food is great. Lots of choices besides breakfast food. I had a butcher omelette and it was a teo meal size omelette. Very tasty. The others had various eggs and pancakes. I Just had the Cinnamon Apple Pancake. It was loaded with Apples and Cinnamon and had a fantastic taste to it. This is a must try at least once. My waitress was Juana which is my favorite. I frequently eat at this restaurant and most times I get the 4 egg fuffy omelette. This time when the server brought it to the table I asked what was going on as I'm sure if they are still using 4 eggs they are small eggs as it was about half the size of what it normally is. The manager said this is the new size but the price is still the same as previously charged. I guess if you never frequented this restaurant you probably won't notice the difference but us regular's surely will. read more

My family stopped here for breakfast during a recent visit to Notre Dame. My wife and I have had breakfast here before but it had been a long time since a prior visit. We stopped by on a Thursday morning and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and extremely friendly. My wife had a skillet which she couldn't finish based on the size. I had the country fried steak and eggs. Absolutely delicious and fair sized portions. My oldest had strawberry pancakes which he enjoyed. Opted for the short stack which was more than enough with crispy bacon. My youngest opted for chicken fingers from the children's menu which even included soup. Found this restaurant on the road to Ohio. Hit it at the perfect time as we were seated right away. By the time we finished breakfast and left, the place was full with people waiting to get seated. We knew we chose a good place to stop to eat. Sandra, our server, was very attentive, engaging and sweet. We were brought a little plate of fresh fruit while we scanned the extensive menu. Coffee was brought right away and refilled continually. My dad had the Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and my mom had the pumpkin pancakes with homemade cream cheese (Yum!). My husband had Hey Ricky and he said it was very good but disappointed that the avocado was missing. I had an egg white veggie omelette and side of fresh fruit (my typical healthy breakfast). Low-end breakfast join with poor quality food. No one wants to write that about a small business, but unfortunately it's the truth. Potato Pancakes were strangely sour. I picked at them but just couldn't stomach the strange flavor and uncooked potato strands. Less than 30 minutes later they were no longer in my body. Even the fruit garnish was unpleasant -- over-ripe melon that should have been trashed, not served. My dining partner had one of the hash brown skillets, however as another reviewer pointed out, there was nothing brown about it. Just gooey which potato globs. I hate to say this, but a chain like Cracker Barrel surpasses this place in terms of quality by miles and miles. The server was friendly but never refilled our water.
