I've been the the Morning Mule six or eight times now. The breakfasts have all been really good. I really like the Fighting Irish bowl. I'd like a bit more heat from the horseradish tho. Other items I've tried have been good as well. Great portion sizes too. There's a good amount of space inside. Plenty of outdoor tables too. Get here early if you can on the weekends. Otherwise, you're waiting a stretch, based on the crowds outside. Now for the complaint. Service. Not rude or impersonal. Just inattentive. I should not have to ask for any coffee or water refills. Doesn't matter to me which restaurant or where. This place simply cannot seem to get that. Today I was in. My server, while very nice, literally set the coffee pot on the table to serve my meal. Then turned and walked off. I had about a quarter cup of coffee. Had to ask for the refill. This seems to be the practice here, based on my experiences. read more

This morning. 9/15/2026 my friend and I ate at Morning mule. My first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Very upscale-citified. The pricing was spot on. I was expecting a higher price range due to the location. The door was constantly opening and closing. Very busy @ 10:00am. Now. The reason for my review. Just as our food was served by Fah ( i think that was her name), my friend received a phone call. Tragic news. Her Son in Law had passed away. Of course. Brunch is now not the priority. No one hurried us along. Our server remained professional. Letting us sort out the next 1/2 hour in peace. Thank you Morning Mule. I will be back. Came in with some work-friends for lunch the other day to see what all the talk was about! We stopped in during the well around lunch and it was fairly slow. We were seated right away and we ordered our food and everything was pretty good. The chicken skewers were dry, the eggs bland, and the copper cups gave the water a funny taste. The server was not the one who brought us our food which is fine but she never came to check on the food or us except near the end to refill a water and bring out bills for us. The interior is nice and clean and the bathrooms and nice and clean. read more

The service was top notch. Jimmy was our server and he was hilarious. He introduced our table to the drink special which was the boss. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very cute inside. The food and service were extremely disappointing. Our breakfast was so bad that we barely ate a quarter of what was served, and not once did anyone check on us or ask if there was a problem. It was frustrating to pay $40 for a breakfast that we couldn't even enjoy. What a pleasant surprise! The 40 minute wait was worth it as we had a very enjoyable breakfast. We were greeting by a very friendly young lady who was hosting and directing a full complement of patrons waiting along the windows that line the front of the restaurant. We elected to wait in our car to stay warm with the frigid temperatures outside affecting the comfort just inside the restaurant's entryway. When our table was ready, we were seated just inside to the right at the front booth by the windows. Other than it being very cold, the rest of our experience was excellent. Alexa was our server and she was very sweet, friendly, and attentive. I had the buttermilk pancakes and my wife had the stuffed biscuits and gravy. Both were exceptionally delicious. We both had coffee and it was satisfactory. They offered multiple types of milk or half and half to go in it. The atmosphere was nice and will be more enjoyable when it's not so cold outside that it affects the inside of the restaurant. We will return soon! read more

This a great breakfast or lunch place! I had the Grand Marnier French Toast which was delicious! The service was friendly and fairly fast despite being pretty busy. The restaurant has a cool kitchy vibe. There's lot of things on the menu. It's definitely on my list for a return visit. read more

The service was slow considering the restaurant was not that busy. one of had the lox Benedict and the other had a regular breakfast with 2 eggs, meat, potatoes and toast. We both had coffee. Terrible breakfast!!!! I ordered something that had chicken skewers and they were so dry I couldn't even eat them. The potatoes were basic! We were a little concerned about the 1 star reviews - now just confused. Hostess was very pleasant and server (Gabby) was friendly and attentive. Waited about 15 min for our dishes, but coffee was topped off the entire time. Food was presented well on the plate and was tasty. Went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast with friends. Hopefully they can get some sort of vestibule soon, because it was freezing where we were sitting due to the opening and closing of the main door. $4 for coffee and it was AWFUL. Extremely bitter, almost burnt tasting. None of us drank our cups. Food wise, I ordered the biscuits with gravy. Taste was odd-not savory almost sweet like a hint of almond. Friends had the fighting Irish (potatoes, eggs, sausage bowl). She said it was just average.
