Our favorite weekend breakfast restaurant! Copper Creek Cafe has quality ingredients, great service, and delicious food. This is our fifth time here. My go to dish is the Copper Creek Skillet. I order this because it is smothered in their homemade sausage gravy. I also order the pancake on the side. My wife cycles through a number of dishes, but had the Eggs Benedict today. Eggs were done to perfection, hollandaise was ok, ham was ok. There is also fresh squeezed orange juice on the menu! Which I love. read more

The service was phenomenal... The food was delivered quickly with good value and great taste. On a Sunday at 10:30 AM the 15 minute quoted wait time was less than five minutes... They turned their tables over quickly and have great customer service I had the eggs Benedict and they allowed me to substitute a sausage patty for the traditional ham... Today for lunch, we meet a friend at the Copper Creek Cafe for lunch. We had a Monte Christo sandwich with fries, an Eggs Benedict Florentine and an open faced hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and a cup of clam chowder. Everything was delicious. The thinly sliced roast beef was very tender. We were served by a friendly and efficient waitress. Nice homey atmosphere. read more

We do not eat here too often even though the food is good (not excellent) it is pricey for breakfast food. I would not recommend carry out. They forget side items every time. Placed a carry out order this morning (5/4/26). They forgot the salsa and sour cream with my quesadillas; they forgot the side of gravy which we paid an extra $3.99 for and they gave us toast with no butter. If you do order carry out make sure you go through the bag and make sure you have everything you ordered. I did tip 15% bc I work in the service industry. I'd recommend eating at Copper Creek but not carry out. read more

The service was excellent. I was really disappointed that they were all out of the fried mush, which I was looking forward to eating since very few restaurants in Indiana serve it. Consequently, I substituted a bowl of grits, which was one step down from mediocre: tasteless and lumpy. After eating grits in enough southern restaurants, I am spoiled and need that mild corn flavor and creamy texture to get a five-star rating. Hands down my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Michiana. The Original Pancake House and the American Pancake Houses are okay/decent, but the menu selection and variety at Copper Creek Cafe cannot be beat. I also find it to be cooked cleaner less oily/greasy and way fresher ingredients. They are willing and able to make substitutions and changes to menu items for dietary restrictions and individual taste. Many vegetarian options here as well, whereas a Metro Diner or Nick's Patio could never as it's all mostly dishes centered around animal meat. I've dined in twice and ordered several times and the service has always been great. Wish they were opened past 3pm! The only reason I give it four stars instead of 5 is because the dining rooms interior ambiance could be improved. During this most recent visit our server was fantastic, so attentive and the food was so fresh and tasty. I built my own skillet (home fries topped with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, cheddar, & two eggs over medium, with fresh tomato slices and an orange slice garnish.) read more

A gluten free mom looking for breakfast while her kids are in sports camp... the food was just so-so for me. I ordered a gluten free ham and cheese omelet and a pancake on the side. The pancake was a typical GF cake that was bland and slightly undercooked. My waitress was great and made sure my coffee was full when needed... quick service -- and friendly. Sunday morning, parking lot was packed but we were seated immediately. Our server Sophie was amazing! She was prompt, kept our cups filled and had a great personality. Food came faster than expected. Everything was good, decent size portions. The Copper Creek skillet w bacon and over easy eggs was yummy! The food was bland and my omelet was burned. Toast was drenched in butter. Service was good but the food was as not worth the money.

Went for Mother's Day & our waitress was wonderful!!!! Our food came out hot & tasted amazing! We had some things missing but our waitress got right on them & brought them to us. We really enjoyed our brunch! Love the amount of seating & that you aren't right on top of each other. It's so bright & happy in there! And the fresh OJ is to die for!!! read more

When we went to pay our bill my friend gave the cashier her money the cashier said it wasn't enough. My friend explained she gave her a $20. The cashier put the money away so she didn't have it in front of her to see (big mistake) The cashier wouldn't bend. My friend paid more than she should have. My second friend was charged 6.99 more than the bill said. He argued the point but lost. Too bad for Copper Creek they lost good business today. My friends won't be back. Copper Creek needs to train their cashiers better. Poor customer service read more

Waited 15 min till waitress came. ABSOLUTELY FREEZING IN THERE. Said something to 3 people all just said ok and did nothing. The thermostat was in a locked box on the wall. Everyone was wearing their coats-so makes for a not enjoyable breakfast. THEN when I got my usual skillet it was WAY LESS than what I have been getting in past. So I assume-not raising prices (Eggs issue) but going to give less food. Cashier was not at all friendly when leaving. Date March 3/1. Charges a up-charge if you use credit card. We were extremely disappointed with your breakfast Monday May 30 The restaurant was short staffed and overwhelmed with the business in the dining room. It took almost fifteen minutes for a server to show up and get us coffee, and when we did order breakfast, that took another 50 minutes to show up. The lady that waited on us was very pleasant, but couldn't take care of everyone in her section. I,we realize that these are difficult times for the people working in the restaurant business, but if you are going to be open, control how many people you let into your dining room. That way those seated will receive excellent service. read more

We were just passing through Granger, IN and wanted to stop for a brunch. Stopped in Copper Creek Cafe because parking lot was quite busy (always a good sign). We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and seated right away. We had an awesome waitress (who was also the manager) and we ordered breakfast omelets. The food came out in a timely fashion, it was hot and delicious. We'll certainly come back again, when traveling through the area! read more

I really want to love Copper Creek Cafe, but unfortunately I cannot. It takes forever to get seated, they will pass you by repeatedly for the usual customers and locals. Service is really hit or miss once you get seated, depending on your waitress. The girl we've dealt with at the front counter several times has a snippy little attitude. Food is delicious if you can ever get seated. Prices aren't the best, but it is what it is. Overall restaurant is clean, well lit and looks nice. read more

Came in ordered 2 eggs benedict ask if we could get a little extra sauce since 1Tablespoon is all that was on it she said sure, brought us some and found out she charged us 2.95 X2 extra on bill when i ask her about it she says she has to charge it I told her she might want to tell her customers there will be that much of a charge !! Done with going there ,2nd time a mishap on there part i felt Don't like surprises like that and its obvious they put VERY LITTLE sauce on them to start with or I wouldn't have ask for a little more. Breakfast / brunch / lunch place in granger with a fairly large menu. The omelettes and breakfast sandwich on a bagel are a couple of my favorites. Naturally, breakfast is the focus but there are a good amount of non-breakfast items as well. Their sandwich choices are generally good as well. I want to like the place. It is nice inside and they do keep it clean. However, they need to be more attentive to quality control. Last two times we went there I ordered omelets that came out painfully overcooked. I am not that picky, so to be clear, I would have eaten them if they were not so badly overdone. Pancake was overdone as well. I had to set it all aside and didn't order anything else. Wife's pancake was cooked better but was cold. Daughter had a roast beef au jus and it was good. We've dined here several times before and now after Covid. They have no idea how to manage timing for seating guests and what the wait staff and kitchen can handle. They continue to seat tables knowing it's going to be an hour wait from the time guests are seated until the time your food is served. I am not exaggerating! I understand the fact that everyone is short staffed, and am sympathetic to the situation. Having been associated with food serve, I feel it's far better to block off or remove tables instead of seating guests knowing the staff is already overwhelmed and won't be able to attend to the table in a timely manner. We were fortunate to sit right next to the coffee station so we could serve ourselves a coffee refill while waiting for our breakfast, others were not so fortunate. I'm giving them 1 star because the food is decent. The acoustics are not good to the point that it's difficult to give your order to the wait staff without yelling. Heard about this place from a friend. We decided to try it. Firstly the decor is very nice, it's homey but not like weird homey like roosters and chickens homey. If you get what I mean. It's clean, and smells fresh. The coffee is amazing! Best I've had from a breakfast place. The food is very good, lots of menu choices. Flavor of food, good, portion size, perfect. The only reason I gave his a four star was because if the service. I believe the server to be new, so I won't criticize too much. There were several tables and booths filled, but our hostess -- with the biggest smile -- seated us immediately in a booth. Carol -- with another great smile -- poured us coffee and offered menus. We found many choices, from egg scramblers, to pancakes to omelets. Never got to the lunches, but bet there are multiple choices there, too. Tip...bring your appetite, you'll be well satisfied. Very disappointing. We walked in and the hostess never said hi how are you, she said how many in a very snotty way. She seated us and we said thank you, and her words were uh huh! Took our waitress 10 minutes to great us and come to the table. We placed our drink and food order since we had plenty of time to look over the menu. When our food arrived our order was wrong, food was semi warm but the American fries were cold and the cheese was not melted in the Hungary man skillet and we had no silverware, So we had to wait longer. When we went to leave and pay for our bill, the same hostess with the attitude never asked us how everything was or smiled once. There's enough family breakfast/lunch places in the Michiana area that beggers can be choosers. Rated against the others in this category, Copper Creek Cafe is definitely in the top tier. Breakfast and lunch menu have enough variety that you never get bored. Very good prices, portions usually have enough for take-home, and the quality has always been good. Kids menu is very well-priced, and quite a few selections. Service is usually superb. Friendly, fast, and clean. No real complaints. Since this category is so crowded, I'm saving five stars for Allie's Cafe and Curve Cafe in Mishawaka (15-20 minutes away, however). However, if you're in the area and want a great breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong with Copper Creek Cafe. read more
