Absolutely delicious! The crust is amazing! We had a cheese slice and pepperoni, both perfect. Also tried the meatball sub, delicious. We found our new pizza place in town! read more

Prime Pizza - Sicilian slice Vodka slice - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

I enjoy the round cheese pie with basil on it. Yummm so good. I've tried the wings and they weren't great, but I absolutely love the cheese round pie. Delicious! read more

Not what I expected, called in my order at 10:45 said it would be done by 11:30 NOPE! Waited again for 25 minutes said he burnt the Pizza and had to make at new one? Staff is running all over the place? It's new so that's understandable but unfortunately it wasn't worth the wait. He did refund the whole bill to make it right that was deeply appreciated! read more

No line when I got there got my two slices very quickly after they warmed it up. I ate it outside after they gave it to me but the pizza was a bit cold considering they handed it to me directly out Of the oven and I ate immediately afterwards. I would have Went back in and told them to give me hot slices but the place got packed so didn't want to bother with it. Overall I don't like cold pizza personally so won't be back. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend, and it did not disappoint! All of us had something different and all loved our food for lunch. I can't wait to go back read more

The food was AMAZING and I was very impressed with the customer service. It was busy, but that's to be expected. Will go back, and signed up for the rewards program. read more

Prime Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

The pizza was good! The staff were very friendly. BUT whatever system is currently in place for getting orders out is unbearable. We placed an order for 1 pepperoni pizza for pick up before 5pm and didn't get it until 5:45. We had plenty of time to stare at the 17 pizzas that were just sitting there on racks while we waited. After all this the pizza was cold by the time we got home (and we don't live far). Hopeful to find a good pick up pizza place near us but don't think we will be back. read more

I'm a big fan of the Burbank location and was so excited to try out the one in Brea as it's closer. I got the white, Sicilian, hot pepperoni and vodka. I was so excited to dig in but when I did it was so cold. It seems like they didn't even try to put it back in the oven to try it out. It was still okay cold but the experience would have been a lot better if it was at least warm. I will come back again to give it another chance! read more

For anyone who has never had real New York pizza, I guess this would be fine. For someone like me though who has grown up eating pizza from Manhattan and the surrounding areas, it leaves a lot to be desired. The main problem is the sauce, which is very bland and has a sweetness to it. Actual New York pizza sauce is actually packed with flavor, most notably, oregano. I didn't taste even a hint of that. The crust was ok and by looking at it I guess it could pass for New York pizza. It was thin enough but that's where the similarity ends. I guess that's why they call it New York "Style" pizza. read more

Terrible the pizza was cold . I am not sure what happened and that's one of the reasons why people were upset like I was. Very disappointed and expensive. Round table and Pizza Hut are a better value than prime pizza read more

I love their square spicy pepperoni pizza. It reminds me of a pan pizza with perfect thickness. Not too thick and not too thin. Their NY style pizza is also great. read more

We love their NY style pizza! Service is good! Ambiance is just ok.... They need more seating areas.... Some people don't want to eat outside. Not sure if the next door space is theirs but if it is hope they can open it up for indoor seating! read more

Genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had! I drive 30 minutes multiple times a month for this pizza you won't regret it. I specifically recommend the vodka pizza! read more

Sorry Prime Pizza but your pizxa is not getting any better. When I order well done and pay for garlic, I expect you to deliver as ordered. It's not happening! read more

Prime pizza brea was amazing! We went on our way to Disneyland for a quick bite. The service was great. Elva was so friendly and welcoming. The pizza was delish! I got the Sicilian and it was perfectly crispy and flavorful! We also got a salad and it was the freshest lettuce and veggies! Oh and the house made ranch is a must!!! read more

Got the two slice lunch combo for almost $14. The slices are from already made pie which is displayed in the front. Still took a long time even though there were no other tickets, I couldnt understand why. Pizza was mid. Cheese was very chewy. I can't see myself coming back when I can get a neapolitan pizza straight out of the wood-fired oven for a bit more. read more

this review is probably biased because I'm a jersey boy and I've eaten a lot of NY/NJ pizza growing up, but i've now lived here now for the past 25 years and i can confidently say prime pizza is the most authentic NY pizza i've had in SoCal. i think people need to understand that pizza shops have to be judged by the overall product: ingredients, construction, and the overall outcome. Anybody can have a bad day with a pie not getting cooked right or being cold, etc., but the point is prime pizza checks all the New York style boxes: real thin crust, tangy sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. New York pizza is about the balance, and not about the largest and most extravagant toppings, etc. the crust, sauce, and cheese all working in perfect harmony here, and that is what prime pizza does in spades. the product--when presented right--is better than I've had anywhere in Southern California, and I've eaten at most all the great ones. Don't give me wrong, Apollonia's, Prince Street, la sorted, danny boys, etc., are all great, but pound for pound, prime pizza nails the New York style. I would say the slice program is where it's at, but to me, that's what New York style really is. Come here when it's not crazy busy and you will not be disappointed. read more

I have had this place in Los Angeles several times and loved it. However, when I had it in Brea, all of the pizza was overcooked, and I was very disappointed. I know that this could've been because of the current day in whatever situations that were there however I really appreciate a pizza place that is consistent and always has the same cook on their pizza so this really was a letdown for me read more

Food looks good. Too bad about the no seating part. We have your money. Here's your food. Now go away.

The sauce is bitter. Pizza is flimsy. Cost twice as much as it should. There are 20 better places to get pizza in the area so go there instead. read more

Best ny style pizza in Brea. I usually go to porkys but this is my new go to. Ordered online which was super easy for a 7:00pm pickup and got there at 6:55 and it was ready. The red pepper and Parmesan packets were a nice touch. read more

We ordered 2 slices (pepperoni & grandma style) and 1 cheese pizza on a Friday around 3pm. There were plenty of people ordering and picking up online orders. It took maybe 15 min for the whole pizza, but the slices were served out within 5 min which was super reasonable especially given how busy they were. Everything was piping hot and delicious!! Excited to go back and try other things off the menu. read more

Love Prime Pizza. Had it many times In LA. Just got out to the Brea Location on Sunday and it was fantastic as always. Square pep, round pep and the Vodka slice were great. Hopefully there's an Anaheim Location coming some time down the road read more

Grabbed a few slices here last weekend. Overall the pizza was solid but the ordering experience needs improvement. Arrived there and the outside was pure chaos. Took a few minutes to find out who was in line to order, who was waiting for food. Staff were polite. Would definitely be open to trying this place again but there needs to be some improvement and structure. read more

I am still in disbelief that we now have a Prime Pizza in OC and so close to home! Growing up in Long Island, NY and also living near New Haven, CT I was so lucky to have my pick of amazing pizza places. I had been missing Sicilian and Grandma pizza so much and a few years back, I googled where I could find some near OC. The closest place was Prime Pizza in LA. I was desperate, so my husband and I drove to LA to check it out. Well the pizza tasted even better than the pictures looked and reminded me so much of the delicious pizza I grew up on. Every delicious bite was worth every mile we drove to get there. From that point on, my husband and I were hooked and we visited almost all of the locations. Having them locally now is truly a dream come true! Check them out, you won't regret it. read more

Amazing amazing amazing. I am a pizza fanatic and this is in the top pizza I have had in my entire life. What a great group of employees too. Keep it up guys!!! read more

Let me begin with saying that I ordered a slice w/pepperoni. It was tasty but although I was there when called the pizza was not thoroughly heated as it should have been. The size of the slice was on the small size. The single slice price is on the high side for a rewarmed slice. Personally not worth going in for just a slice. Service overall was very good. read more

Worth the wait. Not even that long of a wait. Amazing pizza. Bedt pizza in town byfar. Go.

First time going with my wife the staff was very welcoming. The pizza was delicious we both got the lunch special. We both liked the different options will definitely be coming back read more

Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had next to Naples in Downtown Disney. Never getting "normal" pizzas like dominos, Pizza Hut, or little caesars ever again. read more

great tasting New York style pizza we had the supreme, a little small restaurant but has outdoor dining. Friendly service will definitely be going back again and trying some of the other items on the menu and knowing I can get it by the slice is extremely nice read more

Tried this place out for the first time. Sadly prolly won't be returning. Ordered 2 of their "signature" pizzas, the Vodka and the Spicy Pepperoni. Was given a 25 minute wait time. Understandable, since I came in at 5:40 pm and they were yet to have any customers. Just a few who ordered ahead to pick up. The kitchen looked packed with workers. I think there were over 8 or more people working. At about the 30 minute mark, I went back in and was told your pizza is finishing up and it would be just a couple more minutes. At the 50 minute mark was starting to get annoyed as I see people getting their orders ahead of me. And these are people who are ordering new orders at the register and not the phone aheads. I proceeded to ask about my order and the front gentleman went and asked about the order in the back. He came back and told me it's finishing up and it'll be another few minutes. An hour passes by, I finally get called and with no explanation, was given my pizzas. Never get asked if I wanted any of the condiments others were getting. At this point I just took the pizza and left. If you're looking to spend $70+ for two pizzas and can wait an hour or so, then come here. Otherwise you're better off going to Fuoco in Fullerton or Pietrini in Los Alamitos. read more

well this one was difficult. its a little cluster bucky going in there its a really small space like at a dominos. theres no eating there except for two tablea outside which are taken by people waiting for their pizza so its a to go place period. the pizzas themselves were pricey and good but not great. the garlic knots were not good dryand tasteless. im trying to find my go to pizza place since moving here and i havent found it yet read more

great pizza! me and my fam loved the square and circle pizzas! i do wish we could do slices of the vegan cheese pizza though. in my fam of 4 im the only one who doesnt eat dairy, so i had to order a whole pie just for myself. the pizza was great of course! just lots of left overs. read more

Prime pizza ranks up there is one of the worst imitations of New York Pizza and Sicilian pizza which I happen to be both Italian and Sicilian with New York roots and prime pizza absolutely sucks they leave their pizzas out well over a couple of hours they're dried out hardly any sauce no flavor they were just awful and then they reheat them and they come out like dried hard burnt crackers anybody who thinks prime pizza is good obviously doesn't know what the hell they're talking about they've never been exposed to really good pizza like I have BTA there's a place on Commonwealth just east of Euclid in Fullerton that I went to today that totally blows prime pizza away excellent prices excellent slice of pizza that he makes fresh on the spot not sitting around for two or three hours in a window drying up like the crappy one I got at prime pizza and their managers never did a thing to correct the problem read more
