The food was amazing and our waiter Miguel went above and beyond assisting us with our questions on the menu! I would definitely recommend Prime 259 if ever you're in the Rivers Edge, NJ area, and even if you're not ... it's worth the drive ! They had Jazz singer Hunter Hayes playing too, such a great atmosphere. The owner stopped by and chatted with us. I would definitely give them 5 stars for the food, service and ambiance.

Definitely an older ground of loud 65+ people, but the food and service is wonderful. Try being seated away from the bar where the older customers get too loud, and you'll have a wonderful time. The filet mignon and carbonara were really good, and they have a nice assortment of gelato though we were too full to try after dinner. I do recommend this restaurant.

Amazing as always! I didn't get photos of everything we ate tonight because we ate it too fast! Everything was served hot and delicious. We were on an eating binge! We ate too much too list.

Went with my family on my birthday, the food was delicious and the drinks were very well made. The staff was very attentive and felt "taken care of" on my special day. Will definitely return for more special occasions.

This is by far the most prejudice and disrespectful treatment I have ever received. If you are under 50 please do not patronize this business because you will be ignored and disrespected by the bar staff that will assume you are a child and treat you as such. I came in with my sister to order food to go for my mother in laws birthday and the bartender on duty Susan all but called us children. She rushed us, spent lots of time speaking to every guest at the bar but ignored us, forgot my sisters water multiple times while making small talk with other guests and 30 min later still has not been bank to check on us. This is an absolute joke. Did I forget to mention we were the only people of color in the building? The door should probably say whites 50 and over only. What a shame. Definitely won't be back.

It's a new restaurant I think individuals should try it and make your own opinion. However be prepared to pay NYC prices.

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

The dining area is one room adorned with attractive art decor and a glass wall overlooking the main road. The Caesar salad was a light, yet satisfying starter. The romaine lettuce, croutons and house made dressing blended the perfect trio! If you are looking for an appetizer with a touch of sweet and spice, the sausage & broccoli rabe will do the trick. The protein and vegetable blended well together with some diced tomatoes thrown on top. As always, I can never visit any Italian establishment without trying the Chicken Parmesan. For the most part, it did not disappoint. My sole critique is the excess amount of moisture beneath the linguini. I also used any extra mozzarella cheese as a topping for the pasta and table bread. Named after its restaurant, the chicken ciao bella was breaded and pan fried. The lemon butter sauce definitely added flavor to the cutlets and the side vegetables were just as "bella" as the main entree. The coffee flavored dessert was paradise. The taste as so rich and pure in flavor, you definitely didn't need coffee either this final course. I highly recommend this location if you want a decent meal at reasonable price. Thank you, Omar and the culinary artists for your pristine service with a smile. #ciaobella #italianbistro #newmilfordnj #caesarsalad #broccoliarabe #italiansausage #chickenparmesan #chickenciaobella #tiramisu #njeats #localspots #foodstagram #njfoodie

We started off with a salad, followed by a short rib pizza for my wife and a Mafalda pasta dish for myself. Can't really complain about either of the dishes or the salad. They were really very good. I started it off with a bloody mary while my wife had a glass of Nebiollo. Good bloody mary by the way. Today we came here at early afternoon, so we're thinking we may need to come here at night sometime to see what it's like. Once again my wife picked a good one. We started their version of a Caesar salad, which was very good. My wife craves pizza, so she went for the Short Rib pie, while I went with the Malfade pasta... Mafalde (a la carbonara, guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino & black pepper)... a dish I would order again and again. Trouble was the pizza looked so good... I just had to have a 'bite' and we ended up sharing both meals. We finished by sharing a Gelato for dessert, which was fantastic. There was a 'name' for it, but I'll be damned if I can remember it or find out what it's called online. Regardless... it goes without saying... we'll be back!

Some of my guests wanted separate checks and he managed to get it all right. He was very attentive! The management was great and kept in touch leading up to my party (I booked almost a month in advance. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food (typical bar food with some flair) and the drinks were strong and some very unique! The atmosphere is fun, casual, a bit loud, but not over the top. I didnt have to scream for someone 3 seats away to hear me. I found they place on a whim googling (bar/restaurants near me) and I definitely plan on going back! Thanks for making my 40th a Great and Memorable Night!

The space is pretty lively and would be a great place to watch a sports event. Appreciate that the space has different types of seating areas from traditional dining tables to a big bar area and a lounge area in the middle. It can get loud in there so I wouldn't go there if you're looking for an intimate vibe. The staff is pretty friendly and do a good job of attending to the patrons. The food is where it was a bit disappointing to me. I can appreciate the wide variety of items on the menu, but not when the quality varies so much. We ordered a few pasta dishes (one that was on the daily special), a few taco dishes, an order of wings and the brussel sprouts. All of the pasta dishes were huge disappoints. They looked like pasta dishes from Applebees. The sauces were very runny and the kids pastas were the most basic pastas that were way overpriced for what they were. My daughter who loves pastas only ate about 1/3 of it and told me she didn't like it. The wings were dry and not saucy enough. The tacos were OK. The brussel sprouts were the only standout dish that we ordered. I liked their extensive draft beer menu though. Lots of variety to choose from and the drinks were fresh. Overall, I'd certainly come back here and hope that I pick some better food choices or a big improvement on the food quality, but a fun place to hang out at.
