    Capellini Al Broccoli Di Rapa

Amarone 63 Cedar Lane Teaneck, NJ 07666 Calamari Fritti Capellini Al Broccoli Di Rapa Pollo Amarone Ravioli Special: Broccoli Rabe Ravioli Special: Beef Brisket Tartufo Tres Leches Cake Chocolate Mousse This Italian restaurant has served some of the best pasta dishes I ever tasted, especially the ravioli and the capellini. The capellini is a blend of primarily angel hair and sweet sausage. Simply add a touch of parmesan cheese and you'll be in heaven. I usually eat cheese filled ravioli with marinara sauce, but the chef put an excellent twist to this dish! The food preparer has given a new meaning to ravioli by altering the filling and the sauce making it tastier. On a slightly constructive note, I enjoyed the tartufo but it's basically a pricey version of a Klondike bar with a cherry in the middle. However, their cakes are out of this world. The tres leches and chocolate mousse has the perfect amount of sugar and consistency. Sweets like these are the reason why there are two "s" in dessert; you'll always crave seconds! From appetizer to dessert, you'll dine like a king in a suburban palace. Be sure to go the full distance with a three course meal! #italianrestaurant #njfoodie #ravioli #calamari

This is I think the third time at Amarone and it was amazing as always. Fantastic service, friendly atmosphere and a very clean place for a great meal. They have a nice outdoor patio as well as nice roomy seating areas inside. I enjoyed some delicious spaghetti with meatballs and hot sausage. The sauce was delicious with some great smoky flavor. The bread they serve is warm and fantastic. I enjoyed some delicious oysters and fried calamari as an appetizer too. Finished off dinner with a double espresso and I was so full I had to practically crawl out of the place. I will be back!

Living in Bergen County, NJ, close to Manhattan, there are many options for Italian food. Opened in 1998 across the street from the Holy Name Hospital on Cedar Lane in Teaneck, my partner, our friends, and I decided on dinner here as first-timers for some of us inside a renovated carriage house. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant, but one can park on a nearby side street or across the street in a parking lot. We had dinner reservations for a party of 7 on Saturday night by calling the main line to Amarone, clearly popular with the locals. Upon arrival at this small, quaint establishment, my partner, our friends and I were greeted by one of the owners and seated promptly in one of their dining rooms at a table covered with white tablecloth. The vibe was relaxed with dim lighting. The menu is varied, serving authentic and traditional Northern Italian fare. There's a separate menu of the day's specials. For appetizers, we decided on some specials consisting of Fried Zucchini Flowers, Pear Salad, Oyster Cocktail, Homemade Crab Cake, Calamari Fritti, and Mista Salad. Our main entrees were Lasagna, Linguini Vongole, Beef Meatballs, and Penne Con Carciofi. Complimentary bread started our meal. The food was expertly prepared to perfection. The ingredients used were fresh, and those flavors were familiar and comforting. The pastas were perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and delightful. Portions were spot on. After our meal, the staff brought a complimentary pumpkin tartufo with a lit candle to celebrate a friend's birthday.   The restaurant management made sure one felt at home, and the owners Nick and Nick would check on us periodically. Our server Juan Carlos was knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. The prices weren't really for budget-sensitive patrons. Yet at the same time, they were quite reasonable, especially given the overall excellence of the dining experience.   If you haven't been here, you should. If you have, then you need to come back again, and we can recommend this place.

We had dinner outside on a July night - The Osso Bucco was very tender and gnocchi's pretty good as well. Jimmy, the waiter brought us out some nice Italian bread and virgin olive oil organic from Italy. Nice touch. We actually started with the Caprese salad, which had a delicious roasted red pepper on top. Very nice touch! My colleague is a bit finicky with his taste, doesn't like cheese or anything, but he had two massive pieces of very nice chicken just the way he likes it. Seasoned well. I think what I most enjoyed was the waiter was willing to make changes to our meals just like we asked .

Quaint place and great service! Some dishes were fantastic but I chose the bland one which is my fault. I wouldn't recommend the eggplant ravioli however everything else was great!

Very good meal! Their Pinot noir bottle was delicious and reasonable. Every appetizer was wonderful. We enjoyed the chef cheese plate, the calamari, and three different salads. Everyone was satisfied. Water was refilled promptly. Service was excellent. Dinner was amazing. My daughter had the steak and said it was tasty. Husband had the duck - perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on inside. I had the salmon, it could have been cooked a tad longer but that is my own personal preference. Everyone else at the table Enjoyed their meals. Solid 4.5 stars!

First time to place a delivery order from Amarone Rest. Delivery was early The salmon was amazing and interesting: medium crispy in the sides; it was fresh, tasty, good amount. Great presentation. It comes with steamed vegetables and 1/2 pc. of baguette on the side. The salmon goes with A little soft, sweet sauce with peas and Mustard; Bravooo!!! salad was fine. $$ price I will recommend this place for sure. God bless you, guys

Amorone is a friendly, welcoming and warm Italian restaurant right across the street from Holy Name hospital. My fiancé and I ordered the grilled octopus as our appetizer, which came with cannellini beans. I would have never thought of the two paired, but it was surprisingly good. I then ordered the Black Linguine Tuttomare as my entree dish. It came with homemade black pasta, shrimp, calamari, mussels, clams, garlic and tomato sauce, this dish was also just good. Overall I thought both dishes lacked flavor. It needed some spice or some type of oomph to it.

Celebrated my moms birthday here covid style and it was a hit amongst our family! Got to try a few dishes including the fried calamari, grilled octopus, lobster ravioli, black linguini tutto mare, veal, and a chicken dish which were all so deliciously prepared. BUT if I were to choose the absolute essentials you MUST order from here, you really cannot go wrong with the grilled octopus and black linguini... both dishes were so yummy and truly like no Italian food I've had in this area. In particular, it was my first time trying octopus and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I found myself grabbing for more. I think a restaurant that can make octopus appetizing is a true winner in my book :-) To top it all off, our waiter was soo friendly-he constantly checked up on us and struck up conversation every so often which added a very personal touch to the service. He even brought out a few extra candles in an attempt to keep us warm from the cold October evening which was very considerate. All in all, Amarone is a gem in the area that you don't want to miss :) definitely recommend!

Great spot for classic Italian vibes. Tres leches cake was a good addition, impulsive but worth it. Perfect night for soup and branched out for the duck. Next time, I'd try the pasta dishes vs the duck.

Five star service from the time we walked in we were greeted warmly and seated inside at a very cozy table for two. Amazing tasty cuisine... grilled octopus with beans, linguine tutto mare, grilled fresh fish , and for our sweet ending we had the decadent tiramisu with delicious cappuccino. They were very well staffed, truly five star service!!! We were very well taken care of!!! Compliments to your Chef and entire staff!!!

Very Good food, very nice service, the ambience is also nice. When there for lunch last week and expend there like 4 hrs, they very kind and with an smile on their face all the time! Love this place, being here several time and never got disappointed.

( Note: actually 3.5 Stars if I could) Amarone has been at its current location for many years. Street parking with outdoor dining offered, and the interior is a lot bigger than I thought from an outside view. Staff is very nice & helpful with questions. But I gave it a mediocre review because I felt the food & presentation were, well....mediocre. And there is nothing wrong with that. Nice menu that has a lot of choices at VERY fair prices. From the interactions I saw, they have a very faithful, regular customer base. Restaurants like these succeed because you probably get a good meal at a very decent price consistently. Enough said. ( Note: I know people who order chicken parm at EVERY Italian restaurant they go to. Why? Because there are no " bad" surprises. ) I assume that's the rationale of this steady crowd. It's a good place for a good meal. After work. Instead of cooking. I can't recall what we had as it has been approx 2 months and nothing really POPPED out and said wow. However I do not recommend the fried calamari as I'm pretty sure it is the frozen variety. Very good wine list though

The red sauce and shredded parmesan cheese went well with the main and the side. The chicken parmesan is served with mixed vegetables. Substituting the veggies is not allowed, so I ordered a side of pasta for an upcharge. Although I enjoyed this meal, the minor drawback is the substitution policy. In my personal opinion, I feel that pasta is the ideal side dish for any CP entree. Vegetables should not the side dish unless I'm ordering chicken marsala or chicken francese. Otherwise, I was still satisfied with the food, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

We went on a Wednesday night around 7PM and while there were a good amount of people dining we were able to get a table right away. We ordered the burrata to start and it was delicious. It was served over oranges and with walnuts which seemed like odd pairings to me but it just worked. I love burrata. It's always pricey, but I'm a sucker for it and will likely order it every time. We got the skirt steak, octopus, Pizza al Tartufo, and Diavolina pizza. Everything was fantastic. The skirt steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and it was served with some greens. It wasn't mind-blowing, just a good skirt steak. I would probably skip this on a return visit so that I could eat more pizza. The octopus was cooked perfectly as well. It wasn't tough and chewy and it had a nice char to it. It was a pretty large tentacle served with an arugula salad. The salad had a citrusy dressing on it which was refreshing. I really enjoyed the pizzas. We went with a white and a red pizza. THe white pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and black truffle oil. Everything went well together and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be. The red pizza had hot sopressata, fresh mozzarella, and grana padano. The sopressata was actually a little spicy which was different from the white pizza. Both pizzas had a great crust with just the right amount of char. It was firm enough to hold up the sauces and toppings but had enough give in it so that it didn't have the texture of cardboard. Service was friendly. The place had a nice cozy feel to it. It's pricey but I'd definitely come back.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.
