Chicken Francese: Two fairly sized tender, juicy chicken cutlets were smothered in Francese sauce. The sauce paired well with the basmati rice and even the table bread (not pictured). I enjoyed the sauce so much I requested an extra cup on the side so there was more to blend with the entrée. The chef made a wise decision to separate the grain from the francese sauce because that would given the rice a mushy texture. Linda's Chocolate Lava Cake: This decadent dessert was truly a masterpiece. It included a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The round chocolate cake was spongy on the outside while warm and moist on the inside. The best part was the warm chocolate pudding filling in the center. It is a win-win if you have the cake myself or if you combine with the ice cream or whipped cream. The whipped topping tastes above and beyond because it was freshly made in house. In addition to being a great meal, the service was on point. Server Kelly and the other staff were very attentive. They continually checked up on us and made sure we were taken care of. Salad overdressed. Get the dressing on the side: Clams Oreganata whole not chopped, not seasoned nor grilled enough. Just ok. Pasta Italiana with white balsamic & garlic sauce very tasty. Big Afogato at the end. Service very good. Very attentive and friendly waiter. Nice, quiet room. If you go on Fridays like we did don't sit in the front as it's a big neighborhood hangout and the front turns into a noisy fraternity house by 7 pm. What an incredible find! So many people I know have recommended this restaurant and I finally got here. I'm mad at myself for waiting so long. We visited on a Saturday night and it was packed, so make sure to make a reservation. With our reservation there was no wait to be seated. The wait staff is friendly and super attentive. I had a pumpkin espresso martini but I heard they have pineapple infused vodka that is amazing. We ordered an order of baked clams & fried calamari. I think these may have been the best baked clams that I have ever tasted. We ordered the shrimp parm, penne a la vodka & linguine carbonara, and were not disappointed. 20 adults and 7 kids on Christmas Day...what could possibly go wrong? At most places, much, but my family's experience was a perfect one in every aspect. From the planning, to the seating setup, to the amazing staff, my entire family couldn't stop talking about how our group was handled. As always, the food is delicious and no beverage went empty for long. The staff's attention to detail was appreciated and respected. When I lived in Bergen County I used to eat here often for dinner with my family and friends prior to when we moved away in September 2021. This restaurant has been here for a long time. My close friends requested I join them for dinner. We had a table for about 12 people. My friends still live nearby, therefore, this is their favorite place for Friday dinners. I enjoyed my two Manhattan cocktails. I also enjoyed their special 16 ounce medium rare steak with fried onions and mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. The steak was properly cooked and tasted great. Service here for a large table was also great, since my friend knows the owner and his son. I look forward to returning here after my couple years of absence in 2021. read more

It had been years since I have visited Andiamo, and it was so worth the trip. Seated in a fairly residential area, it is just a gem. The staff is great from the moment you enter until the moment you leave. I always try to observe how the staff interacts with the customers and it was very apparent that most of the customers were regulars. Our waiter in particular was absolutely outstanding. I forget his name, but he was fairly tall with glasses and a beard. Just such an incredible person who was great at his job and made you feel so welcome, he was a perfect representative for the restaurant. We tried the fried calamari and sausage appetizers and they were both great. We then went on to 2 seafood specials for the night, one veal francese and one linguine with clams. Every meal was absolutely perfect. We all just kept raving over the food. We have been planning our next trip there from the moment we left. What a great place! This is a must try. read more

Strange to see the average review so low. I ordered the rigatoni in a creamy tomato sauce and the fried meatballs with ricotta. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente and the sauce was creamy, savory, and seasoned just right. There were proscuitto slices garnished on top which was excellent. The meatballs were fantastic. BEST FOOD IN THE AREA. No competition. I love Andiamo it's my regular weekend spot because they're just so consistent and everything I get there is delicious. My favorite dish is the fettuccine bolegnese with mini meatballs it's my go to. I haven't gotten a meal there that I didn't like. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They treat you like you're special and provide top quality service all around. Location is perfect for small parties as well since there's a larger room on the backend of the restaurant that could be closed off to be more private. If you're into oysters they have a deal with $0.99 oysters on Wednesday nights. Since Andiamo is a very popular spot for a lot of people I highly recommend you make a reservation, regardless of group size, especially on the weekends. The weeknights it gets pretty full as well but the weekends it's almost a must unless you want to wait for a table. They also offer delivery and takeout as well if you don't feel like sitting down for a meal. Call ahead because delivery usually takes ~1 hr since they do delivery all in house and don't use a 3rd party delivery service. It's totally worth it though and support local! I also participate in their charity motorcycle run in support of Englewood Hospital. It's a great gathering/opportunity and for a good cause so whether you ride a motorcycle or not it's worth stopping by! read more

This place has been good up until my experience last night.. the waiter was nice and the food was good until I saw a mouse running around the floor towards the end of our dinner. I don't think ive ever gotten the check, paid and left a restaurant so fast before in my life. Being that this restaurant has been here for years I was in complete shock to see this and to see that there's other reviews written here about people seeing mice and roaches! My kids got the wife and I a gift certificate to Andiamos. We never had been there but the buzz was good on it. We were impressed by the beautiful building and the decor. Very cozy. We were greeted by the owner and welcomed warmly. Having decided in advance that we wanted to have dessert, we skipped appetizers and ordered our entrees. I had the crab cake special and my wife hade the shrimp piccata. Both were very expertly prepared and delicious. Dessert was cheesecake and we enjoyed that immensely. The wait staff is nice and knowledgable of the menu, the food is plentiful and has good quality, the owners are the nice and know the regulars real well, and the atmosphere is really fancy. CONS: The bathroom is small and the bar is located by the door making it hard to fight the crowd in the front. Parking is very limited and it can get real hot inside with everybody sitting in their small rooms. OVERALL: Very tough to critique this place. The pros outweigh the cons greatly. The best restaurant around with the nicest wait staff and something for everyone on their menu. The parking lot and bar are small and can become crowded easily while the bathroom isn't built for more than 3 people. I've lived nearby Andiamos for years and although IVe admired the pretty exterior lights on the evenings, I've never stepped inside for dinner. The parking is pretty full every time I happen to drive by. Last summer I was seeking a venue to host my sisters baby shower. I inquired via email regarding menus, pricing, dates etc. I received replies electronically in a timely manner and was pleased when I met with the owners face to face. I booked the venue for the shower, alll went as promised. The stAff was great during my event. They were friEndly, quick, attentive. Professional, knowledgeable and pleasing. I opted for buffet style menu for my event. (Sunday ladies only brunch, before restaurant hours). Although the food was great I was disappointed to see that they served my guests the food. I appreciate the service, however, most of my guests mentioned that there was not enough food and that they were quite hungry. THeRe was no food left for seconds and trust me, the first servings were not a lot. the food was DELISH, however, as a Yelper and someone who has hosted quite a number of parties and venues for a plethera of occasions and celebrations, I have never hAd anyone complain about not having enough food. That was my only disappointment worth mentioning. Besides the lack of food, the staff wAs amazing! They carry top shelf liquor which is a huge plus for our group (Johnny blue). We ordered a few appetizers, specials and regulars off the menu. All was filling, well presented, fresh and quite delicious!! At the end they surprised the special couple with a beautiful platter including desserts and beautiful note. (See photo). On this Sunday evening we had the baked oysters. WOW! Get em while you can. Awesome flavor and texture. Perfectly prepared. The fresh catch of the day was outrageously delicious. Light as a feather with outstanding flavors. The included jasmine rice was a nice balance. The famous Andiamos thin crust margarita pizza was awesome. Excellent flavor with the best thin crust around. A very nice menu with great options along with good prices. Very easy parking. The service provided by Phil our server was top notch. Where do I begin... Review of Andiamo for our private event. Highly recommend! I cannot thank Victor, Allen and the rest of the staff enough for a seamless event. Prices are reasonable and the menu has so many options to choose from- not to mention everything we ate was delicious. The drinks were flowing. We even had a cake that was out of this world. We were able to come in early to set up our center pieces, favors, and decor tables. Victor, treated this experience as if I was his own daughter. If I needed a day of coordinator for my wedding, I would want him by my side. His level of attention was unlike no other. Every guest had their drink replenished at the perfect time and food in front of them. Allen was also so helpful in the planning process and made sure everyone was set throughout the day. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet, and we can't stop raving about what an AMAZING experience we had at Andiamo for our 60 person engagement party. The appetizer we ordered came out a bit cold on the bottom. I also cook quite a lot at home and I know the difference between dishes that have been freshly cooked and dishes that have been either frozen/refrigerated and reheated and to me, that is what our dishes tasted like. My wife and I loved this place and in the past two weeks we have spent $700 dining there. Tonight we had a wonderful dinner but found it impossible to get the check because our server was extremely busy. I've been to this restaurant for dinner many times and always been happy. We even have takeout orders delivered, pizza is outstanding as well as all the food. We recently held my daughters baby shower last Sunday. We had the entire dining room to ourselves with plenty of time ahead to decorate, menu choices were excellent, our guests were so happy, said the food was outstanding. They supply the cake from a bakery, which was also excellent. And the service was impeccable.
