I have attempted to purchase a vehicle with Price Ford. I went to Ford Price recently and shared my price range with Dylan. Dylan Johnson was the internet sales director that communicated with me through email the prior week. I asked if I can test drive an F150 and he declined stating that I may not be able to afford the vehicle. He stated that the vehicle of my choice was out of my price range without running my credit. At the same time, a potential customer was given the freedom to test drive a $70,000 vehicle. All I was asking for was to test drive a $40,000 vehicle. Ok so I was getting my car fixed at heritage ford and I got the absolute worst service EVER!!!!! they tried to charge me full price for something that was covered under the extended warranty. And long story short I went to Turlock (which is where I bought my car) and they without a doubt confirmed that it would be covered under my warranty. But heritage ford had broken something so therefor Proce Ford wasn't able to fix (understandably). I finally got that done with after a week and I was very appreciative of Price and the exceptional work and amazing service. Yesterday I took my car in for a check engine light and Jeff was great and got it checked out and now it's getting taken care of. Also Curtis usually helps me and he's just great. I got an email this morning requesting a review of my experience at Ford this past week. I under any circumstances will NOT be purchasing another Ford. I have a 2014 Ford Focus. The clutch was slipping on it a year ago, Ford would not replace it because it wasn't slipping at 2k RPM. It was just under it, so I "unfortunately just have to be hard on it and wait until the clutch slips more for us to replace it." A few months goes by and it meets their policy to replace my clutch THATS UNDER WARRANTY!! Finally!!! they replaced my clutch!! BUT low and behold 1 month shy of my clutch being replaced it's slipping AGAIN, AND THEY WONT REPLACE IT AGAIN UNTIL IT SLIPS AT A HIGHER RPM!!! The solution? Adjusting the computer in my car so the clutch engages sooner. A mechanical bandage, not a replacement. I PAID 20k FOR THAT CAR!!! ITS BRAND NEW!! THE CLUTCH SHOULDN'T BE SLIPPING AT ALL!!! And 1 DAY after I took it home the clutch is slipping again! Your "policy" is a joke. You sell crap cars to people and you don't care because it's not your inconvenience. read more

My trips to this ford dealer have been excellent. When they were pattchets ford they did amazing work and now that they are price ford they still continue to do great work!!! We drove 2 hours to look at a used car they had on their lot. The salesman was very nice and tried to work out the deal we wanted but alas, it wasn't to be. The reason for only 3 stars is because although the salesman knew how far we'd come and how much we were looking to spend, when our deal fell through he did nothing to save us as customers. Drove to Turlock to look at a specific car. Two plus hour drive. I get there and the car looked nice...BUT...immediately upon driving it there was no doubt the car had a serious issue with the AC unit. Salesman was a young kid who knew nothing. Went back to the dealer and had one of the service guys check it out. Noise was evident to him as well. Bottom line was I passed on the car. Kicker was the salesman tried to get management to repair the AC compressor to salvage the deal. They said they did not have enough profit in the car to spend the money it would take to fix it. My take away was they now knew ( assuming they did not know before ) the car had a serious issue...and I hope they had open disclosure and told the next customer what was wrong...or better yet opted to fix it properly. read more

So herw I am at Price Ford for my routine service. Purchased a Pre-certified Flex wirh extended service plan. My parking brake goea out at 49,000 miles. Ford diagnosed the problem as a bad parking brake assembly and sensor. Sensor is dine Fors wantd $800 to repair. Part dor rhe kit 168 labor rest. They recommend on my previous service to do the brakes tk my surprise they want me to apy dor rotors even though the rear is at 3mm. Now rhey are stating that rhey can rurn them but it would be at a minimum. Also the finance manager stated everything was covered but tires at time of purchase. Can you say fraud. Eell they now agree that a mistake eas made and are covering the rotors. read more

Well where should I start? That 1 star I left was out of courtesy for a friend who works there. I bought a truck there in 4th of July 2017. 2 weeks later I noticed a serious oil leak. I called them and they said it wasnt there when they sold it to me. A year later after it got worse. I needed to put in over a gallon of oil a week. A hose broke and I took it to a shop, they told me the truck looked familiar and as it turns out, it was there 2 months prior with guess what? You guessed it, severe oil leak and cracked gaskets. I then called Mark Sharock over at Ford and he still denied it even though I sent him the diagnostic from Toms Truck Repair in Modesto. In all,I took it to Ford to fix it and he diagnosed it with 2 oil leaks, and my turbo was literally broken. $3800 and 1 month later, He returned it with an oil leak that he says was apart from what he diagnosed, and 1 month later the leaks were back just as bad. Only thing he fixed was the turbo and another ACTUAL mechanic told me all they did, both times (before I bought it), was seal the leaks with silicone and once the motor heats up it starts to eat away at that silicone. I'm right back where I started and am considering hiring an attorney who guarantees he'll put them through the ringer. I also called Channel 5 on your side and the better business bureau. Never buy anything from Price Ford of Turlock and if you have never use their shop. They are the definition of a crooked shop. Oh and one of their mechanics stole my new wipers and replaced them with old ones. They probably thought I wouldn't notice. I am so glad I didn't read these reviews before my wife and I bought a car from here, because honestly, we've had the best possible experience EVER with Ernie @ Patchett's Ford. We wanted a very particular vehicle, and while they had something similar, they didn't have what we wanted. However, they allowed us to test drive the similar vehicle multiple times and we ended up custom ordering the vehicle the way we wanted. Ernie went out of his way at every turn to help us out. We got the car, and everything was awesome. We didn't get pressured to do add-ons, just made aware that they were available, and a kind "no" was enough for them to move onto the next item. Lastly, we got our car in January. It is now May, and my wife managed to lock herself out of the car. She called Ernie who, since the sale has been made, has NO reason to help us, except that he is awesome guy. And he did. He got my wife the keypad code so she could get back into the car. I can't speak for the entire dealership, but I can speak for Ernie, and I would 100% guarantee you that you won't find a better, fairer, more honest guy than him. Don't do it. These guys are your typical nightmare car dealers. Kept for hours to close a deal, not willing to budge on anything and not very helpful. They kept trying to sell needless add-ons after repeatedly telling them no. I purchased a used F-150 from them whose tow hitch had been smashed in by the previous owner. The dealer did not disclose this to me, nor did I see it when I purchased the truck because it wasn't noticeable until you got underneath. I was informed by the dealer that there was "nothing they could do." The truck was sold "as-is." Instead of offering to repair the hitch in their facility or cut me some slack on the price of the part, I just got the run around. They said, "well you didn't see it either." Right, I didn't. I'm the one foolishly trusting in their reputation to not pull shenanigans like this. The assembly is just $400. Now I have to go through all the hassle of going to get the part installed somewhere else and take the time off work to do it. It was the same thing on financing. I showed up with financing in hand and because of an error on their part, they wanted me to drive back to sign additional documents. I live two hours away. When asked if they could fax it to me, there was again, "nothing they could do." The lender whose money was actually being used had no problem e-mailing me the documents. But it was a total hassle and these guys weren't willing to work to make anything easier for me. If you've got a local ford dealership, try them out first. There is absolutely no reason to come to these guys first. You can get better deals elsewhere.. read more

I will admit, I was not happy when I found out about the ownership change and the change to the Patchett's care plan oil change coverage. Nevertheless, I continued to go down to Price Ford for the complimentary oil changes (5 free) they do offer former Patchett's customers, and realized this place isn't about the pennies saved for service; Price Ford is about the core of great men and women that make this place such an outstanding dealership! I am constantly, and consistently, treated like the most important person there even though I am unable to buy the most expensive vehicle on the lot. It is this feeling, this sort of treatment, of even the basic customer that brought us back to Price Ford to purchase another brand new car! We purchased our F250 Super Duty diesel truck here in 2016 and have had all service done here. It is freezing cold in the waiting area but up until recently, I deal with it because the service has always been good. However, the last two services have me questioning that. The last appt was for a transmission service and oil change. It took almost 2 hours and the oil change includes tire rotation. They did not rotate the tires. I called and was told the diesel mechanic did the service and he doesn't normally do oil changes so he just missed this! This week I had an appt for an oil change and to have a rattle checked on the front passenger seat. While there I purchased a new ignition key which they said they would need to be programmed. this appt took 2 hours and 45 minutes and they did not have time to look at the rattle in the front seat so I'll have to take it back. This dealer is 40 minutes away from my home so that's another morning gone! If you are taking your vehicle here for service, make sure you check their work and allow plenty of time! read more

Like others, I think Price Ford made a mistake by not continuing the free oil changes implemented by Pattchets for years. I think something small like a oil change would more than pay for itself in lifelong customers, not to mention customers coming in for bigger repairs. Now, I will avoid this place altogether. I never felt pressured to buy or that they were just trying to sell me a vehicle. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles. I was impressed with how much he knew, as he was able to answer questions about minute differences between certain vehicles. Scott streamlined the entire process for me, got me better financing than I expected, AND I literally was in and out in under 45 minutes. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER! As a first time car buyer, I was intrigued when Mark Ross (the finance manager) informed me of a current promotion they have for all college students. The promotion being, regardless of your credit they'll start you out at a tier 0 (next to perfect) credit score. So I made an appointment and came in this passed Saturday to check out my dream car. The salesperson that helped me, Hillary, was super nice and helpful. She is not the person I had an issue with. I had an issue with Chuck, one of their finance guys. I put 3500$ down on the car and signed a borrowing agreement until my loan offer was approved come Monday (today). I stated over and over and over again, if there's any chance I won't get approved Monday, please don't let me take this car home. But I was reassured over and over by all that everything would be just fine. Well, it's Monday and I'm now car less and out 3500$. Oh, and my insurance policy had already been paid in full. They contacted me early this morning letting me know that despite chucks "great" efforts, no bank would approve my loan. So I had two options, 1) get a cheaper car, one without all the knick knacks or 2) put an ADDITIONAL 10,000$ down!!!!! That's crazy!!!! I'm only a college student that was intrigued by this deal BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS CATERED SPECIFICALLY FOR US COLLEGE STUDENTS!!! The reason I wasn't okay with option 1) was simply because after I had driven such a beautiful car, why would I want to downgrade and continue doing business with the people who've basically taken candy from a child. Option 2) is out of the question, I wish I had that kind of money set aside but I don't. So I was told that I had to return the car by 8 pm today. When I went to return it, they didn't have my money, they said I'd have to come back tomorrow and they'd text me when it was ready for pick up. Chuck wouldn't even talk to me directly to let me know I wouldn't be getting my money, he told Hillary to tell me. Once I left, without a car, I reached out to Hillary asking that the check be ready by 8 am so that I could take it to another place and carry out my business elsewhere. I was told that Chuck told her it'd be ready between 10-10:30 am, so I would be more than welcome to return then. No, not working for me. I called the dealership and listened to the voicemail of their business hours, it states they open at 7:30 am. So I figured 8 am would be fine. Once I again stated that I needed that check to be ready at 8, I was told there was nothing she could do and "Chuck said" it'd be ready when he said it the first time. Well Price Ford of Turlock, Shame on you for screwing a first time car buyer and making her hesitant on buying a car anywhere else. I hope you're happy with yourselves. read more

Several attempts were made on my behalf to reach the manager or supervisor. It's not the first time i'm transferred to the wrong person, their management is never available. Some employees answered with an un professional tone, attitude, and rudeness. Car problem wasn't solved. Picked up the vehicle the next morning, employees always have a serious look. No one addressed to me about anything, just brought the car over for me to take. No welcoming, no apology, no explanation. Worst experience ever. We drove about an hour and a half to come to this dealership and Joe made it well worth the trip. They buying process was quick and very easy, and they were nice enough to give us a free tank of gas for the trouble of driving out to them. PRICE FORD YOUR NOTHING NICE :-((((( I purchased a new F 150 in July of 2017 for over $30,000. I purchased the maintenance plan for $2,000. I catch a nail in my right rear tire March 9th that develops a slow leak. I call Price Ford Service Department Friday March 13th. I asked if I could have my tire fixed under the warranty. I was told the warranty didn't cover fixing flat tires. I asked if I could have complimentary service to have my tire fixed. I was told NO. There would be a Service fee. I said Thank You and hug up the phone. Price Ford wasn't going to get another penny from me to fix my tire. I take my beautiful F 150 to Les Schwab in Ceres to have them fix my tire. I expected to pay a service fee. Les Schwab professionally fixed my tire. Surprise Surprise Surprise !! I was told " NO CHARGE " !! How Cool is that to have GOOD LUCK on Friday the 13th !! Professional Customer Care is how to treat consumers. Price Ford needs to learn how to treat past customers. Les Schwab will always have my business. I will highly recommend them to anyone. Too many issues to list but in short I took my truck in for a tiny oil leak and the service advisor was more frustrating than helpful. My truck was done on a Friday and I had to call in on the following Monday to see if it was ready. Nobody called me. When I went in to pick it up my rep wasn't there and nobody could find the paperwork. They found it finally and took my truck home. The next day that I drove it I had new issues wrong with my truck that were never there before. I had my truck towed in and called multiple times for updates and I received no response from the same advisor. I finally spoke to the manager who helped a bit but when the advisor took it back over there were many issues still. I almost didn't get a rental and a ride from work to the rental place because of the slowness at which this service department performed. I got a call to let me know my truck would be ready this time and I advised I would be in around 11-1130. When I showed up to get my truck at that time shockingly my service advisor was conveniently on lunch. They were able to find my paperwork this time but he made no notes to the fact that's was covered by my warranty so I had to wait for them to call him to ask what was going on. To be honest I am not even sure if they were honest in what was wrong with it the second time... But that is a review for the BAR. I got my truck and got home to find a letter in the mail saying there is a recall on my truck so I called backed to see if they checked for the recall and shocker they did not. So now I'm going to have to take my truck into a shop for the third time in two weeks. You would think it's common sense to check for recalls when servicing a vehicle. There is more but that is the short version. I will never go back to price Ford. read more

What a terrible dealership. They can't get anything right. First they came at me with a ridiculous lowball number for my trade in. So I left while the salesman was begging me to let him see if he could do better. Then they call me to tell me they will do $11,000 better than the original-offer. So I told them to write up the deal and Email it to me for the trade in and the new truck. Still the numbers were too high. Sent him a message to come down another $3,000+ and we have a deal. They did, so I went back and told them to make sure the financing is what I want or this deal was over before it even began. My credit is outstanding so no reason the rate to be high. Told them if it's over 4%, deal is off. These guys come back with 8.9%. I wasn't amused, I told them they now have 5 min to come back with less than 4%. Then still they come up with 4.9%. We left. They started to get us to stay but at some point you have to realize they are just going to keep messing with you so you have no choice but to go somewhere else. Found another truck, with more options. Made the deal, (a better deal actually) and got 3.5%. read more
