If negative stars were a thing - this place would be getting them! So incredibly disappointed with my experience today. My toes turned out fine, but even after expressing my dissatisfaction with my hands, I was told that I was wrong and the nails were exactly as the picture had shown. After bleeding from being cut and filed into, every-time I would flinch or pull my hands back to say something my hands were yanked backed into place and I was told not to move as I was messing her up. I don't get my nails done often, and when I do it is a very special occasion (maybe once every 2-3 years). With this place being called "pretty nails" there is nothing pretty about them or their customer service. I will make sure no one else in my circles go here from the terrible customer service, pricing, and pain. Find somewhere else to get your nails done. Oh, and they also use the 'cheese grater' which is illegal in Texas - so just an FYI! read more

I really love this place, my mother comes here often... And she brought me over for a birthday Manny Petty, I have developed a little nail fungus on my big toes and a wonderful lady name. Cassandra helped me to remove the diseased part and have been helping me too healing. Two really good advice and helping to clean up the area. She is amazing and they are so helpful and friendly. I've been here 3 or 4 times and I always leave very happy. The staff is kind and does great work. It's hard to find an affordable pedicure these days, but thankfully I found this pretty nails. I would post a pic of my beautiful toes... but you'll just have to take my word for it ;-) also I just wanna read my book and relax, I'm introverted so I'm not trying to do small talk for 45 minutes straight. Went in for a fill and French tip set medium length. Took forever to finally get service and I got charged 67$. Ridiculous for a fill.

Don't usually make it a point to make a negative review unless service caused a lot of trouble after. I live 20 miles away from any city, so anytime I'm in a larger city I try to get all my errands taken care of at once. Walked in after getting my haircut next door (those ladies were amazing btw!!), was put in pedicure chair right away. The whole salon was silent expect for one out of 3 techs the entirety of my visit. The tech doing my nails had my feet soaking, then proceeded to take two separate calls walking away both times lasting about 5-10 minutes. She did apologize, however afterwards took a third call a couple minutes later leaving me in the chair for even longer. I can understand needing to take a call, I've been there, but if your business isn't getting resolved in a timely manner you need to send someone else to take care of your client- not just leave them sitting waiting for you to finish for 30 min. When she started buffing she buffed over a crack in my foot which was very painful, when I advised her there was an injury she acknowledged stopped buffing the entire foot. When the pedicure was finished I was sent to a male tech to do the manicure, he was oddly quiet also and towards the end took too much skin from one of my fingers which was very uncomfortable. My thumb was not dried properly and the gel ended up coming off on my clothes 30 min after I left the salon. I was in there for 2 and 1/2 hours. Now I have to go to my normal nail salon and pay to get the thumb fixed. Overall, everyone in the salon seemed uncomfortable, and it was giving sweatshop vibes. I was not handed a menu for nails/pedicures, a complimentary beverage was not offered. The salon was very nice interior wise and cleanliness and sanitation standards were excellent. I may have caught them on a bad day which I understand, but some behavior in customer service cannot be justified. read more

This is my go-to place for getting a pedicure when I'm in a hurry. They don't seem to have a menu of pedicures...just one basic offering with a light massage and hot towel wrap. It only takes about half an hour. read more

I have been here several times now and they always do a wonderful and thorough job! The prices are good and service is friendly. I have psoriasis so naturally I was afraid of being turned away but no one has ever judged me for it! I love that this salon is so close to my home. I have been to Linda 3 times for solar and a pedicure. I'm very picky and she exceeds my expectations. My nails don't lift in between appointments which is great!I did go once and had a pedicure by someone else she was very good. She didn't get as much callus off as I'd want but still very good. I've been getting acrylics to 25 years and Linda is GREAT! I watch the other halls and I think they are pretty darn good also! I'm sure not perfect all the time but I'm sticking with Pretty nails there odds are way better then anywhere else I've been. read more

I would have walked away giving five stars as they did do a good job on me, but at the end, I was charged more than listed. I asked why and she said she used gel. I told her u would've appreciated being asked if I wanted gel (I do not!!) and she just went on to tell me that gel is shinier and better and what I wanted. My friend and I are very experienced with nail salons. We have traveled far and wide in the Austin / Cedar Park / Georgetown area trying to find a place that we don't leave disappointed. We have FINALLY found our girl's day nail spot. Located across from the HEB and next to the Jimmy John's, Pretty Nails was busy but they were prompt and the service was amazing. We were so impressed with everything we had done which covered the spectrum from pedicures to eyebrow waxing. Linda and Cassandra asked questions and made sure we were satisfied with everything. I happened to be up in the area and decided to treat myself to a pedicure. It was the middle of the day on a Thursday I think and they were able to see me immediately, which was nice. They color selection was decent, but the pedicure was seriously lacking. It was rushed and very underwhelming even though they were slow. The paint job was decent and lasted a couple weeks before chipping, but the experience was not worth the money. On top of all that, I am fairly certain this is where my credit card number was stolen. This is the only place in Georgetown I have used this particular card in the last several months and I had several fraudulent charges over the next few days in Georgetown. Linda, the owner has been doing my girlfriends nails for over a decade and she's sent over 30+ people to linda in that timeframe and today she made an appointment with linda at 11:45am and my gf called to set the appointment for 11:30 instead since she was gonna be early and all was good until my gf showed up at a few minutes after and linda was doing a pedicure when she walked in and told my gf she was late and couldn't fit her in today come back. My appointment was at 12:30 and I told my gf we're no longer going back to her because of the way she handled this situation! She was very RUDE and not to mention I wear WT2 earbuds that translate any language to english so as they were speaking vietnamese I could hear them making rude statements about her and the last time we were in there and to me I've never liked when they speak their language in front of you because its rude and what I heard proves my point! I don't suggest this place because of what transpired in our visit for their services. It made us feel very uncomfortable and not appreciated for choosing them as a business for the services we wanted. I do NOT recommend this place at all! read more

Nail tech was really quite, she did a good job on my toes, I just got a basic pedicure, but she didnt scrub well enough it was more of a lazy scrub, once done I had her do my nails, I asked for full set and I then picked my color, I did not do gel, she clipped too short then asked what shape I wanted, I said square, she gave me more round on the edges looking nails, I told her to fix it to make it look more square she made my nails look so much shorter, she then painted my nails and I constantly had to ask her to fill in spots she wasn't getting, she had me dry, I tapped my middle finger hoping she would take the whole polish off, no she attempted to fix which made it look like crap. I was suggested this place by a neighbor. However, I did not think it was that great. My sister and I went to get gel solar nails which, cost $35. so they would last longer than a manicure. They told us that it would last two weeks, it maybe lasted two days if that. We went back a few days later, and told them what had happened. They said they could give us a polish change. I told them I wanted a pedicure, a pedicure cost $25 and they made up some excuse and basically said that they couldn't do that. I asked for my money back and they wouldn't even do that. I was very disappointed and will never go there again. I don't suggest anyone to go there. read more

A coworker recommended I come here after I got a botched nail job at another place here in Georgetown, and I'm glad she did! My nails came out great, and haven't shown any signs of lifting yet (the others were lifting after 2 days) despite the fact that I wash my hands ten thousand times a day. I have tried out a few salons in Georgetiwn and always come back to pretty nails. They do a great job and reasonable prices. My only complaint is that when I make appointments they never remember, even if I just called earlier that day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I walked in and there was 3 woman (workers) just sitting there. I told them I was looking to get a full set . The lady at the front told me were to sit. The worker looked at me and my hands and said she can't do it because she is waiting on an appointment. Which is the same thing the two other ladies said . The lady at the front told me I will have to wait until she is done with her client. I felt very uncomfortable. I will never be back to this place . Service is always snails pace slow I almost feel like they drag it out to justify charging more. Almost 4 hours for pedicure & solar nail fill is not the norm. This was my go to back up nail place but service was rushed last visit. I understand cutting corners to shorten the process & it was a newer girl I hadn't seen working before but while using the drill to shorten my nails I was nicked so deep it took several coats of nail/super glue to stop the bleeding. Then upon paying was overcharged almost $20 over what I typically was charged for the same service. I didn't even address it due to the fact I usually tip atleast that 10 for feet 10 for nails. I didn't expect or even want any type of discount but a simple apology would have been nice. Oh well on to the next. Once you make me bleed blood I won't return:( still had to give 1 star it's still better than palace nails were my nails would ache for 2 full days & it hurt to touch anything!
