This place is very unique being that it serves as a coffee/breakfast place and a lunch place. We came in during one of the festivals and sat on the front porch area. They also have shakes. I'd like to come back and try one. Service was quick and the servers are kind. You can dine in or out.

Blackberry Amaretto Latte

Nice coffee shop. We traveled across town just to check this place out ate reading about it in the Philadelphia Inquirer. I am glad we came, otherwise when would I ever try a Blackberry Ameretto Latte! I asked for it to be a little less sweet than usual just knowing I don't like my coffee too sweet. It was delicious! My husband had the Cortado and enjoyed it. We each had an Avocado toast, his with bacon and mine with eggs and bacon. It was okay, I can see where they tried with the everything bagel spice but overall, there was nothing special about it. There shop was cute, small and busy. People come with their laptops and there is not alot of turnover for the tables, we just got lucky getting a table when we came in on a mid morning weekday. Staff was nice. I do recommend this place.

Lemon blueberry scone. One of the best I've ever had!

Came here for some donuts since our last trip/attempt was unsuccessful, well guess what?! THEY STOPPED SELLING THEM 3 WEEKS AGO! Lol just our luck haha. Anyways went with this scone the lemon blueberry scone and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also had a lavender latte which meh not my most favorite ever but decent. The mystery kids had hot cocoa (they ate breakfast before we left and wanted donuts as a treat). Mystery man had bird breakfast sandwich with bacon and an iced pistachio vanilla latte. The pistachio vanilla latte was delicious. He really liked the sandwich too. The place was packed! Not an open seat in house always a good sign. Ambiance is nice it is coffee shop vibes with a modern/cabin type of feel. Like I said it was packed and the employees were very busy.

Stopped in mid morning on a Saturday in February. The place was packed with a line around their tables. The line moved fast. We ordered two Carmel macchiatos and two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on biscuits. The server said the sandwiches would take about 15 minutes. It ended up being half that time. The coffee and food were excellent. The service was fast and friendly. I recommend Pretty Bird Coffee if you are in the area.

The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit at Pretty Bird is unbeatable (just like the Smash Burger)! | grab one at least twice a week - it's that good. The staff? Absolutely awesome.

Good coffee, great service and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are relatively cheap & ample parking

Today was my first visit. The menu is limited. I asked if I could skip the bread and just have scrambled eggs with vegetables. The employee checked and said sure they could put it in a box. The food lacked creativity and taste. It was literally a flat egg patty, sautéed spinach, half a portobello and one slice of tomato. It was almost like it was scraped off a sandwich. Maybe salt and pepper would have helped? The lavender latte was tasting more like rosemary. Just disappointed. I have heard such great reviews.

This review is for Pretty Burger, not Pretty Bird, although they share the same space. If you are fortunate enough to have enjoyed the fresh brewed coffee at Pretty Bird on Main Street, Yardley, then you already know the location of Pretty Burger. They share the space in a well renovated 19th Century building with intimate view of Vault Brewery across the way. Their menu is limited to burgers, fries, shakes and salads, but the quality is there and the sandwiches can be customized with a long list of traditional accessories, both free and upcharged. I ordered a single smashburger without cheese, and added mushrooms, sautéed onions and banana peppers, on a commercial sesame seed bun. I also went with their fries and a PB shake to get a broad sample. I sat at a high top along a window to take in the street scene, and less than ten minutes later was served my meal by a pleasant server, who suggested trying their sauces (spicy and less so). Everything was imaginatively packaged, with the fries taking the prize - in a large cardboard container that held enough for three. (BTW, I didn't care for either sauce, as one was too salty and the other had a weird almost mustardy aftertaste). All burgers are smashed and served well done. No choice there, but it was very tasty, especially without a cheese costar. It stood well on its own with just enough grease to make it a true slider. The fries were a narrow gauge and crisp. They were salted to enhance flavor and a pleasure to consume. They were still great hours later when my family came home to enjoy the takeout from PB. I didn't fall in love with the peanut butter shake, which was a bit thin, and although the taste came through would have benefited from more ice cream to thicken and chill the drink. Not bad, just questionable at its price. Overall, I very much liked the gestalt of Pretty Burger and found it comparable in quality and enjoyment to places like Five Guys, Shake Shack and Smashburger. As I prefer supporting local businesses over chains and franchises when possible, Pretty Burger will get a fair share of my burger consumption going forward.

Really solid coffee shop. The coffee was good and in a super cute mug. The best things about the café was the seating and the variety in their menu.

Busy on a Saturday morning but the espresso was worth the wait! Pistachio vanilla hot latter was a dream, esp paired with a delicious cherry oatmeal cookie. Okay had to come back to write more - their biscuits/sandwiches are INCREDIBLE! Flakey, buttery, crusty biscuits, perfectly cooked egg, and a smash burger patty?! I live in Philly and definitely will make the drive for this brekkie again - if I was closer I'd make this my prime co-working coffee shop. Thanks, Pretty Bird!

Good food and of course coffee! The service is good and reasonably quick given the volume of eat-in and take-out.

Not only was it a delightful experience for my tastebuds, it covered the entire plate. This was one of the few times I couldn't finish my meal. It probably didn't help that I had an order of their amazing bread and butter. I love the vibe at this spot. They serve top notched meals in a casual environment. I have visited this spot at least 10 times and they don't miss. My wife has the Rye & Gochujang Radiatori. I tasted it and it was delish. I never thought to add gochujang to a pasta dish, but I will be doing that in the future. If you have room for something sweet, end your meal by sharing Brioche Doughnuts. We get them every time we visit.

Also loved the smash burger -- delicious and no pretentious frills -- but the fries were the standout; homemade, hearty and crispy. The pumpkin and pretzel casarecce pasta was very tasty as well, and the small-sized portion was plenty. Clearly the chef is talented and takes their work seriously. Given that they don't sell liquor & you can bring your own, the prices are fantastic. Cheapest dinner I've had since the early 2000s lol. They do have some N/A wines, beers and cocktails for those who don't care about booze. I could see this place being perfect for breakfast or lunch because it has beautiful views of the river. We came for dinner, and within 20-30 minutes, it was pitch black outside so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The lighting in the restaurant for dinner is too bright, which takes away from the atmosphere and makes it seem more like a takeout restaurant than upscale dining. Our server was great but the food took way too long to come out. It was about 30 minutes to get a salad. Not sure if they were short-staffed or that's just how it is but because the food was good enough, we will definitely come back to find out!

From the look of things, it has fallen into the strongest ownership and has a great chance of achieving longevity in this old river town neighborhood. If jazz is your sound, Rosetta's will fill that niche in your soul. From the moment I walked in and took a stool at the counter, the smooth jazz soundtrack kept me company. The presence of a full drum kit, electric keyboard and microphone stands in the front of the house by the entry door had me wondering if I would be lucky enough to audience a morning session. It wasn't to be, but it sure did set the mood for evening possibilities. My breakfast was simple. Sausage, fried egg and provolone cheese on rye sandwich, with side of home fries (onions & peppers added). The chef's skilled hands were visible from my seat, as was his laughing interaction with customers who called him out to acknowledge his presence. That was fun. The meal was good, but would have been exceptional had the sandwich been doubled up (2 of everything) and presented on an English muffin of Kaiser rather than sliced rye. The limited choice of white, wheat or rye for this creation missed the mark. Those taters on the other hand, were excellent and the java strong, fresh and tasty. PRO TIP - Add this big boy to the morning menu as a choice for those who appreciate what double meat, egg and cheese can do for the satisfaction of the hungry. Otherwise, it was all worthwhile. That Sunday brunch with mimosa and AYCE spread accompanied by live jazz is totally appealing, and we may drop in soon.

The service was somewhat slow, but the waitress was very nice. Their beer was in cans or bottles. I ordered a Head Hunter IPA and it had a date code from the summer, so their stock was a bit old. I split a bowl of crab bisque $15 with my son. It was ok on spices/flavor and had small strips of crab, but the body was on the thinner side and I didn't think it was creamy enough. A miss, plus the guy who brought it out must have had the soup shift on the walk over so he had his thumb on top of the spillage that went onto the rim. I should have sent it back, but we were hungry. The small cornbread muffins that we had before our meals came out were tasty. After discussing the lunch menu with the waitress she said the Yardley Burger was very popular. $19 - roasted tomato, boursin cheese, hand cut fries. My son ordered the chicken cutlet - $18 fresh mozzarella, vodka aioli and chips. He skipped the sauteed spinach that was supposed to come on it. They took awhile to come out. The burger had a ridiculous amount of boursin on it (plenty of herbs and garlic coming off it), the meat was bland and the hand cut fries were a tad soggy. Even the bun was weak, so for $19 they can keep it. My sons sandwich was much better. The vodka aioli flavor was a home run with the thick cutlets. Still not worth $18, but much better than the burger. I had a Yards Washington Porter with my burger that slightly helped my disappointment. This place only gets the 4th star because I love history and the building has it. It was just OK other than that. Maybe a dinner/date night is in order to see what these higher yelp reviews are all about. Their entree prices seem much more in line. For lunch, I'm a no.
