Eduardo of Eagle Roofing & Masonry was by far the most professional and responsive contractor I've ever dealt with and I'm a Director of Operations for a high rise! When I let Eduardo know, he went back and forth with me via text for about 39 minutes saying I used salt on the concrete. That was it, he took no accountability, just that I used salt and ruined my own walkway I spent thousands on. He then offered to see it in person (which he should have just said in the first place) and told me over and over I used salt during the winter. Anyone who knows me knows that I wouldn't use salt and in fact have been using sand. He asked to see the bag, I brought it up and then he said, I was using salt. He then asked how many people live in the building (not important, the city sidewalk doesn't look like this, neither does the walkway in the back, which is decades old). It was really weird and he took absolutely no accountability for what might have happened, as I only stated the work was not aging well. He just kept saying he did a good job, etc and that I used salt. After all of that, he said he could fix it (sir, you should have led with that). The price he gave was high and ultimately I didn't think I should have to pay more for work that didn't really hold up after 2.5 years. So just know if you get concrete work and it looks bad after a few years, he'll blame you over and over before finally offering an expensive solution.

I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. When you hire a company and spend good money on their work, you expect fair pricing, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, that's not the experience I had.
