Lopez Concrete poured my new patio, replaced a portion of my driveway and a new walkway. Saul was so helpful and the crew was phenomenal, they really worked together well and such a professional job. I would use them again and highly recommend. read more

We hired Saul after seeing the great work his team did on our neighbors driveway. They redid our entire garage floor and driveway. On the day of the work, he was able to accommodate a number of other requests that weren't planned. There was an issue with part of the drive after curing began, and they came out to inspect it and replaced the problem, quick and easy. It's a great team and I highly recommend. read more

We needed significant brick and paving updates and reconstruction for our home in Wheaton. After we contacted Lopez Concrete & Brick Paving, they responded immediately, listened patiently to our ideas, and offered professional guidance on how to bring our vision to life and enhance the beauty of our home. The entire team was professional, courteous, diligent, and hardworking. Each day, they showed a clear commitment to their craft and made sure the work met our expectations. In the end, we were pleased and excited with the finished brick paving. It was truly an exceptional job, and we greatly appreciated their commitment to excellence. read more

Our driveway was in terrible shape (see pictures). Lopez Concrete demonstrated a depth of knowledge that gave me confidence that they would do a good job. The final product really speaks for itself. Our driveway looks amazing and will last for years to come. This was a really big job and I wanted to make sure we selected someone who had the experience to deliver. Very responsive and even did key details (raised pavers to match the new driveway, ensured our fence was aligned) that makes the curb appeal really stand out. Highly recommend. read more

I've used Lopez Concrete 2 times now for new concrete jobs on my house. Saul and his team are extremely responsive and showed up to provide a quote quicker than anyone else. Mr Lopez & his son made it straight forward and an easy process. Juan was supervisor on our job site. The group worked efficiently and followed code guidelines. Juan, He was patient with communication and listened to what I wanted as the client. I suggest you look at samples for Pavers, as the colors differ from the book and don't appear the same. Save yourself the frustration and look at samples. I'm happy with the work and it looks nice. Thank you read more

I hired Lopez concrete to install brick pavers in my back yard and to redo my sidewalk, to say I am satisfied would be an understatement! On the day the work started a small army of men came to the my house to tear up the grass and prep the backyard. I counted 12 men at one point. Saul was very helpful and kept us updated on all the work being done. His crew works very hard, they are respectful and cleaned up after each day of work. I would highly recommend Lopez concrete to anyone in need of this work. read more

After the previous contractor didn't secure a permit for our driveway repaving - unknown to us - the village required extensive changes. Martin Lopez - Lopez Concrete 847-363-2763 - worked patiently with the engineer. The quote was very reasonable and the quality exceptional. The area was always left spotless and the work was completed in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure working with Martin read more

We had a roughly 500sqft driveway put in, including removal of a compacted gravel 'driveway.' Saul and his team we super responsive from the initial contact all the way through completion. They helped organize the inspections and kept constant communication. Saul held true to his initial estimate and was very reasonable with pricing/executing an add/change. His team came out, on-time, and were very polite and professional. They even humored my dumb questions and concerns without so much as an eye roll (I know I was annoyed with me). They made quick work of the demo and framing and were back for the pour without issue. The work itself looks awesome. We're getting compliments left and right, from neighbors, about the quality of work. Lastly, it passed inspection w/o any issue and I'm excited to enjoy the driveway for years to come. read more

Saul and his team are fantastic. He provided a quote within days, started the project shortly after, and then did an impeccable job. I highly recommend his team for your concrete needs. read more

I had a new concrete pour for a new concrete patio done by Saul of Lopez Concrete & Brick Paving done just recently. While Saul was preparing and clearing the area for the concrete pour, he damaged the underground electrical power wires leading from the house over to the garage. Consequently, I had to have an electrician run new electrical power wires underground to re-establish power to the garage at cost and have to repair my damaged lawn. read more

Saul and his team were amazing. We needed to demo an old shed and deck, old concrete and install a new concrete patio. We had some major grading issues in the back yard. Saul came up with great solutions to fix the elevation and solve our drainage issues. The patio looks better than I could have ever imagined, Saul's pricing was reasonable (I got 5 quotes and he was by far the most cost efficient and responsive) and his whole team were awesome. They got the whole job done in about 3-4 days. Thanks Saul and the Lopez team! Look forward to more projects together in the future. read more

We recently needed a section of the concrete floor replaced in the basement of our 120 year old home. It had buckled in some critical areas and become a problem. The perfect solution would have been to repour our entire basement, or at least the entire room, but that was much more than we were willing to take on right now. Saul was able to replace just the section that was most critical and it looks good and accomplished what we needed. Through the process he was responsive and took care in what he did. It took him less time than expected, and when he realized this, he reduced his price from what we had agreed upon. In this day and age, that is the type of honesty you just don't find. read more

They did a great job on our driveway. Very responsive. Do emails, phone calls, and text messages. They handled everything with the permit and quick follow-ups. At the time of the job, I was not home and there was great communication back and forth to ensure adjustments and concerns were addressed by myself and even keeping me from making a visual mistake on the design we wanted. They really want the extra mile to ensure the job was better than I envisioned and requested. read more

Lopez Concrete & Brick Paving built for us a new brick patio, plus an underground drainage system to direct water away from our house and from our property. They also replaced the concrete step to the front door of our house. My experience was fantastic from beginning to end. We couldn't be happier with the result, and love our new patio. Right from my initial request for a proposal to completion, Saul and his son were amazingly responsive. Saul came over the same day I first contacted him to evaluate the property, and he promptly gave me a clear-cut proposal at a very competitive price. In talking with Saul, his knowledge and experience were obvious. All his suggestions made for a wonderful solution for the esthetic design of our patio and for water management. The project was scheduled and completed much quicker than I would have even thought possible, with a work crew that was amazingly coordinated and efficient--and meticulous attention to detail. The project went without a hitch, and quality of work is impeccable. read more

This guy is amazing. Responded right away, gave estimate right away, started job right away. Gave us a fair price too. Sooooo polite, professional and his entire crew were nice. We took out an old deck and filled in new pavers next to our 12 year old pavers. Old school business. Super clean too. Based on a lot of trust. He got bricks and I paid for them over the phone with a credit card. I know it's silly but he felt completely trustworthy and he was exactly that-trustworthy. Don't find businesses like these now days. Top advice. Glaze them right away because they do get dirty fast. read more

I'm so thrilled with our experience with Saul and his team. He came out and quoted us within a few days of me submitting a deck. I'm 8.5 months pregnant so we were hoping to get the project done before the baby, but weren't sure that was possible. Saul over delivered at every turn and made it happened. They got the permit within 2 business days and sent out multiple crews on the first day to demo everything before the forecasted snow to make sure they didn't fall behind. That night a crew was sent to clear the snow for the inspector. The whole project started on Monday and completed on Friday. Saul was even able to fit in a larger path than we expected at no additional cost. In the end we chose the Sierra pavers and the dark charcoal as a outline (they were a little more expensive in terms of material cost but worth it). We are super happy with the outcome of this project and know we chose the right team!! read more

Better Call Saul! What can I say. Saul and his crew did a professional job. We had our driveway, sidewalks done with concrete, and the patio done in bricks. He is very experienced and knows how to get the job done right. Saul told us what the process was and let us know each step of the process. His crew was like a team that has been working together for a very long time. They were in tune with each other, and were working like they were one. Saul also is one with the crew he worked each and every aspect of the job as well makes sure he also gets a turn on the jack-hammer or shovel, or sledgehammer. That's how I knew I could trust him, he was not all talk. His work and finish was so good the Village came a few times to show off his work. I have wanted a labyrinth of my own for years but kept hitting roadblocks. Many contractors refused outright to do the project because it was so niche. Saul and his team were the ones who finally made it a reality. He made sure he understood the design I wanted and made suggestions to make the project more affordable and more durable. He always made a point to communicate promptly, even when he was out of the country. Juan was meticulous in cutting each paver to fit and making the walking path design work- truly an artist. I couldn't be happier with my labyrinth and would recommend Saul to anyone who needs a patio, especially if they want something rather eccentric. read more

Who in their right mind would use a company that never responds to messages. All I wanted was a bid for what looks to be a $20K project. If they don't respond to a request for a bid, good luck getting a response for warranty work. I messaged last year several times. Finally, the owner responds in December and apologized and says blah blah covid. So, in February I messaged that I'd like to try to get a quote again. They read the message and never reply and it's now April. I am too patient sometimes. I'm hiring someone else. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the incredible service and quality of work provided by Saul and Lopez concrete! From the first day that Saul arrived for a quote, and through 1 revision, he was prompt, and efficient. We reached out on a Tuesday, and we had it completed that Saturday. When it came time to build our new patio, the team arrived on time and ready to work. They were friendly, courteous, and respectful of our property throughout the entire process. Most impressively, they completed the entire project in just one day. Not only did the team work quickly, but the final product was absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. We have no doubt that this patio will stand the test of time. Overall, we would highly recommend this Lopez concrete to anyone in need of high-quality, efficient, and professional concrete work. They exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for making our patio dreams a reality! read more

We hired Lopez Concrete & Brick Paving to 1)replace the concrete our driveway, 2) replace broken and sunken concrete on the walk on both our side walk and garbage/recycling bins pad and rebuild, 4)build a new Unilock paver sidewalk to the street and driveway and, 5)build a limestone and Unilock front porch on top of the existing concrete porch. In addition, they power-washed our Wilmette Street Back Patio, removed and replaced the existing polymeric sand. They did a fabulous job, their attention to detail was amazing, the price was fair based on the large amount of work done and his team of workers were very friendly and always on time. This may be one of the best experiences that I have ever had with a contractor. I give Saul Lopez, who is incredibly easy to work with, the highest marks possible for a contractor. First Class/A+ work! From many of my friends who deal with contractors (don't we all), it is the results that we always wish for and somehow never seem to get. In addition, Saul recommended his carpenter to replace all of the rotted wood on our porch and it was done to perfection. Highly recommended!! read more

I received several quotes for a relatively small paver patio in my backyard. Saul was incredibly communicative, and when he came for a quote was one of only two contractors who highlighted a drainage issue and proposed a solution. He secured the permit and got me scheduled within an incredibly short time, and they amazingly dug out and installed the patio in a single day with minimal interruption to me and to my neighbors.
