Really nice guys. Had a staircase crack in my brick outside my house that led to a big crack in my basement wall. The previous owner had patched over both, and it looked like the basement crack was letting bugs in. I'm finally able to sit down and write this review! After trying to wade through the replies via yelp for help on the violations in my building (and also almost being scammed by someone I did not go with), Eduardo quickly replied to my request and was able to come out the same day to look at the work that needed to be done. Eduardo and his uncle Hermilio were really nice, concise and went through why putting down a coating of concrete over my existing crappy walkway didn't make sense versus making a new concrete walkway (I was on a very tight budget). Their quote was very fair and Eduardo was really responsive via email and text to send me the contract as well as their insurance, etc. When they said they could do the work the next day, I was sold. I only had a limited time before temps got too low to pour concrete and finding an honest contractor that can actually do the work is very stressful. I was able to give half of the quoted moneyafter the first day was done, which was great, as I've had contractors ask for money up front, etc and do a really bad job. That being said, we just love our walkway and the masonry work will def let us off the hook for the violations (I hope!) We needed our roof repaired this fall, because our Owen's Corning Shingles started coming apart due to ice damming. The shingles were supposed to be 50 yr shingles, but started to go bad at the 18-19 yr. We decided file a claim with the manufacturer. Eduardo went above and beyond. He came out several times to take pictures so we could file our claim successfully. We filed the claim and won due to all the help Eduardo provided. His price to do the re-roofing was competitive and the cleanup was superb. We will definitely have them back in the Spring to do the rest of the roof. My wife and I purchased a new home two months ago, and despite having it inspected we realized it was leaking pretty badly during the most recent storm. We contacted a few places but once they realized we were on the southside they ghosted us. I called Eduardo and he showed up the next day to look things over. We recently bought a flat roof brownstone in Chicago and after considering the roof, decided to add another layer to it. After reviewing yelp for Chicago roofing companies, called Eduardo on Wednesday morning, he arrived Wednesday early afternoon and gave me the options and costs. Signed the contract with him that later day. Next day was Thanksgiving. On Friday Eduardo and his crew arrived and by Saturday noon had finished the roof on the house, along with the garage. Eduardo is a pleasure to work with. Highly professional, respectful, and responsive. He and his crew worked non-stop and did a great job including applying new roofing tar to a number of clay tile joints in the front section of the building. Cleaned everything up afterwards. Walked me thru all the work they did when finished. I won't. be worrying about any roof leaks for a long time. Even removed the crappy old Dish Network antennas on the roof.
