We were in need of some immediate roof repair work at our "For Sale" suburban home. Closing was in 12 days and the inspector told us we had some damaged shingles. We located Lightning Contractors LLC online and spoke with Maria. She was very understanding and told us someone would be out to assess the work that same day. Daniel took many photographs of the work that needed to be done. He and his team were here the next morning and in about 3 hours time, all the damaged shingles and ventilation pipes were replaced or repaired...and all for a very reasonable price! Oh yes, they supplied us with numerous before-and -after photographs to give to the new owners. I would highly recommend Daniel and his team for any roof repair work. Timely...good quality workmanship...and all at a very fair price. Job well done! R.G.H. read more

I hired Daniel and his crew to do some work around my house and they were so competent, kind, and super timely. I'm glad I found them - will hire again! read more

Daniel responded to me on a Sunday, and scheduled my gutter cleaning for the very next day. I knew my gutters were filled with debris, and wow but they sure cleaned out those gutters. Daniel noticed that I had a few exposed nails on the roof (which can cause leakage!) and he silicone sealed the areas (additional charge). Great communication, and will definitely have them back for future work. read more

I went with Lighting because they were my first and best quote - I called on Monday and Daniel was out Tuesday morning. Took about 30 minutes and cleaned all the gutters, complete with before and after photos to show the work he did. He also made a couple of recommendations on what else we could do (also with pictures), but no pressure. He provided a quote for the additional work as well! read more

Had a great experience with Daniel. His crew cleaned our gutters. It was easy to schedule and their price is reasonable.

Daniel, the owner, responded very quickly and even came out the same day to inspect the roof and siding damage. He gave me a fair and reasonable quote on the spot. The quality of his work was phenomenal--everything was done professionally and efficiently. If I ever need roof or siding repairs again, I will definitely call him. Great service and great experience! read more

I'm disheartened to have to write a negative review for this contractor but they've given me little choice. I reached out to them last week to replace the siding on part of my townhouse and initially they were very responsive. They came out when they said they would for an estimate, were professional, and provided me with a well priced estimate. Unfortunately, that's when things went south. I sent them the specs for the materials required by the HOA and they didn't respond for 1+ days, when they had been replying within minutes before. I followed up the following day just for them to tell me the materials were "very expensive" and it'd be better if I ordered them and they just charge for the work. This was a very strange response as the materials are not expensive at all and they would be completely compensated for their cost anyways and contractors always take on the responsibility of procuring materials, that's just part of the job. I didn't quite understand but continued trying to move forward with them, stating that if I am the one to purchase the materials, they needed to provide me with exact info on what to purchase, with them responding "Yes, of course. I can tell you what we need". At this point, I asked for a formal quote to be sent to my email and for basic info like licensing and insurance information. I didn't hear from them again for over a day, at which point I texted again, and again didn't hear, until I texted again after another half day asking them to just tell me if they didn't want to or were too busy to do this job and they finally responded saying they had been busy and yes they could help with the material but not that they couldn't do the job. I then reiterated that I needed them to tell me what materials were needed and I needed the other info I asked for. Never heard from them again and it's been over 5 days. An interesting thing is that the contractor has read receipts on their messages, so I could tell they read the messages almost as soon as I sent them... I don't know why they didn't want to do the job after they spent time coming out to quote it and why they didn't just say they didn't want it even after multiple attempts from me to get a response. This is an unfortunate lack of professionalism that I just don't understand. Hopefully no one else has this same experience. read more

I hired this company for roof repair work and had a very good experience. Daniel was polite, professional, and very responsive. He came out the same day I requested a quote, took pictures of the damaged areas, and provided his estimate. The quote was competitive and included a 3 yr warranty for the work. Once hired, he readily provided proof of insurance and a write up of the project quote. They arrived on time on the day of the job, provided before and after pictures of their work, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend. read more

They cleaned out my mom's gutters that had not been done in quite awhile for a very fair price. They were able to accommodate with our schedule on this too. Very friendly and helpful by suggesting other things that might need fixing on our gutters in near future since they are nearly 40 years old. Thank you for your work! read more

I had a leaking roof and needed quick turnaround on a repair. I contacted 3 companies and they were the most responsive. They performed work the next day, which was a holiday. The following day I had more rain and a week later, a major rain storm. The work has held up and I would use them again. read more

quick, efficient. even did neighbours at same time. pictures to assure job was completed. will use again.

This company lives up to its name with its responsiveness and completion of a project. My home's aluminum siding and gutters had some damage from a recent storm so I reached out to Lightning for a free quote. They were able to send somebody out the next day to take photos and give me an estimate and once I made the decision to proceed, they had a team out at 8 am the next morning. The siding and gutters were fixed quickly and the work was very good. They communicated well throughout and prices are lower than other businesses in the area who took longer to respond or didn't follow up. I will definitely use Lightning again for any roofing needs and will recommend highly to others. Thanks to Nadia and Daniel for a job well done. read more
