If I could give no stars I would, ALL of the reviews past people have left has been my experience!…read more I just had work done this past May 2020 small simple job, fix a front walkway and a small patch on the side of my house. Mike who is the owner first started off very nice, then as late may went by I contacted him with no response. I then to had to contact him down again to check the status of my permit, as I did give him HALF the down payment. Finally I called the village myself and he finally contacted me. Time has gone by and they finished the job and man was it sloppy! They came back out to strip it and I pointed out their mistakes and how 2-3 family members also noticed these mistakes and the main guy on the job "EDDY" said "they are stupid, this is just a walkway and it doesn't really matter they are little things". **Mistake included many chips that will continue to chip and they were rushing they cant cut straight lines or even finish the line for that matter, (pictures to follow).** I continued to say that "it DOES matter to me because this is my house and my money". If it was free I couldn't complain of such a sloppy job. GET EVERYTHING IN YOUR CONTRACT EVEN THE SMALLEST THING! They wouldn't even come in to fill the dirt they took out for the job EXTREMELY CHEAP. I also had to clean up 12 nails so my lawn guy didn't damage his machine or anyone else hurt themselves. Finally my aunt wanted something called "a release of lein" so I kindly asked mike in text and his response was SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL i had to call him to set it straight ( **please refer to the pictures if you want to see the texts!!!**) They ARE NOT accredited by the BBB SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO WITH SOMEONE ACTUALLY DEPENDABLE!!!!!

Bruno Construction Masonry is an easy to work with masonry company who provides a high level of…read moreservice. You can easily see that they take pride in their work. They have done many projects for me over the years and always meet on site to discuss the work, point out issues they see and recommend additional work for either now or in future. This is especially helpful for budgeting purposes. When permits are required for the job, they take care of the entire process. Scheduling and work completion dates that are provided are very accurate and clean up of debris is fantastic. Overall this is a great masonry company to work with, I trust their work and opinions and will continue to do business with them in the future.

They were under contract to spot tuck-point an entire wall but instead they only did the top of the wall and then claimed that the work was completed. When confronted about the rest of the wall, they repeatedly lied saying they did the entire wall and said that I was seeing shadows. Only after producing photos (I attached a few photos) of gaping holes did they grudgingly get back on the wall to complete the job. They said "ugh, I guess we missed a few spots" Unless you plan on babysitting them throughout the project, I do not recommend them.

Regal Custom Concrete was prompt, priced right and had the best solutions for our family. They understood our concerns and arranged a date to start promptly. Regal Concrete pumped the concrete through an existing window well and they added a vapor barrier on top of the existing exposed crawlspace floor, added fiber mesh to the concrete and rebar for additional strength, treated the ceiling within the crawlspace and finished and polished the new concrete as if it was on our front porch where everyone would see it! They completed the job with no mess - they even vacuumed our basement when they were finished! Within days our home had no residual smells and breathing was easier and healthier! Thanks Regal Custom Concrete. We plan on calling them back out for driveway, sidewalk and patio jobs soon! We highly recommend them to all.

Our only concerns were with communication and project management. Our signed contract included replacing the fence as well as demolishing and removing a concrete step. A few days after the project began, we were told the concrete removal would cost extra because the step was concrete. We didn't mind paying the additional cost--we understand unexpected situations can come up--but it was frustrating that this wasn't identified and communicated during the initial estimate or before the work started. The concrete step was identified on the day work began, and he mentioned the extra charge 3 days later. Once the fence was completed, we were asked for full payment even though the contracted work had not yet been finished. We ultimately agreed to pay the remaining balance because we didn't want to go back and forth. It also seemed like multiple jobs were being worked on at the same time, which delayed completion. We were told a jackhammer needed to be rented to complete the concrete removal, but it wasn't arranged until later, adding to the delay. Overall, we're pleased with the final product and the quality of the work. I would hire Danny again because the workmanship and pricing were good. However, I would make sure the contract had more detailed terms regarding change orders, payment milestones, and project completion timelines to avoid any misunderstandings. Better communication throughout the project would have made the experience much smoother.

The whole crew came on time each day (10 min early in fact), the work is solid, they were quick, and they even put up with neighbors being salty about trucks in the alley (hi nieghbors - sorry, it's city life!) Aside from that glowing overview, the project itself was a garage tuckpointing. Much of the garage is intact but the top few feet of brick wall was completely erroded and one section of the garage was splitting and bulging away. We've wanted to get it all repaired but many contractors had quoted a price that was bordering on the cost of a whole new garage! Art's quote was reasonable and the work he recommended was appropriate. Nothing flashy, just good work. Now the garage is all fixed up, sturdy, and ready for another 100 winters - Thanks guys! The kind of crew I want to hire again even though I really hope I don't need you for a while :)
