They're super nice here, and I like the açaí bowls. A little more expensive than Everbowl, but they have things like mango and other superfood options. Good to have them here!

When their holiday freeze blew up on socials, I knew I had to stop by ASAP! Even before all the craze, I've been a big fan of Pressed Juicery's freezes. They make me feel a whole lot healthier and guilt-free since they're vegan... keyword "feel." There's a good chance this isn't true as I haven't taken the time (or cared enough haha) to fact check it. Walking in, I was met with a long line of girls, all ordering the exact same thing. The Chocolate Peppermint Sundae Freeze. It features their vegan Chocolate Freeze topped with peppermint drizzle, marshmallows, and crushed peppermint candy. Super yummy and it put me right in the holiday spirit!

My favorite place to go to for a healthy treat rather than donuts and ice cream. They have the best açaí bowls and freezes (healthy protein frozen yogurts). Their prices are extremely reasonable especially if you sign up for their free reward membership program which is a no brainer. They always have such nice employees who are so helpful and always happy to answer any questions and cater to your needs. Today Ethan helped me and he deserves a raise for sure for how nice and helpful he was! the friendly employees is what keeps me coming back!

The seating is comfortable and well air conditioned. There are a few tv's playing sports and/or news in the background. Ordering is simple with a cashier. You don't have to be a member to eat here as they accept credit cards for payment. Or, you can also charge it to your membership account which will be totalled to your monthly dues. Note: breakfast is only served until 11:30a. We didn't realize this until 11:35a. But, there are several 'all day' breakfast items. You pay, get a buzzer, and go back up when your items are ready. We both opted for the breakfast sandwich which is only under $12 (after tax). It comes with fruit or a side salad. And may I just say ... it was a DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich. The multi grain bread had some sort of grilled cheese on top. The medium eggs were perfectly done. The bacon was crispy and the avocado was creamy. The side salad with caesar dressing was generous and fresh. Friend had same sandwich but in wrap form. She also enjoyed it quite a bit. There's self serve water and ice. Don't forget about the new complimentary sparkling water machine outside (exit cafe towards family pool and head right). Hope to return soon to try out more items.

For a gym, you would imagine they would have healthier choices for the kids menu. Nope it's all fried food. I kid you not they have a proposition 65 cancer warning sign displayed on the counter. I am no expert, but this is to be expected at a gas station, but at a gym cafe?!? They used to serve a famous açaí bowl with house made granola, it's gone. Before the changes, the menu was something you looked forward to trying, as everything was good. Due to Covid/corporate rebranding, it's been radically simplified with cheaper ingredients and more expensive prices passed on to the consumer.

Located in the highly coveted del mar highlands (across from one paseo). there's a plethora of shops/movies/eateries you can go to before or after you get your drink. I can at least for sure say, it's CONSISTENT with the other locations i've been to. drinks taste just as delicious. you can make things easier for yourself and preorder on the app before you get there. service was slooooow. they have a kiosk for you to order by yourself which seems like the only option to really order from. So when you get stuck behind people who don't know what they're doing, it's PAINFUL to watch. I wish their staff would be more open to taking orders at the cashier instead of just standing there. overall experience was fine, i think Irvine location was better though.

I love to do a mobile order to avoid the crazy wait times. They have a mobile pick up section at the front of the store. If you're planning on stopping by definitely preorder! The boba is always fresh. I like to get the brown sugar milk tea. It's not too sweet and made perfectly. My other go to is the Mango Coconut BOOM! This one is my favorite for wanting fresh fruit. It comes with coconut jelly and sago.

The sandwich at around $15 is pricey but feels more appropriate for what you're getting. A $12 smoothie isn't unusual in San Diego, but when the taste doesn't back it up, the price becomes a lot harder to justify. Food/Drinks: [3.5/5] Chicken Salad Sandwich -- A 3.8/5 for me. I'm from the South, so I have a pretty solid benchmark for what good chicken salad tastes like. For a healthier take on it, this one actually holds up--the dill was a nice touch and the soft whole wheat bread worked well. That said, I'm judging it on taste alone, not its nutritional value, and it's decent but not exceptional. It also came with vegan bacon bits, which I didn't mind. A solid sandwich, just nothing that wows you. Strawberry Delight Smoothie -- A 3/5. It's clearly a nod to Hailey Bieber's Erewhon smoothie and it looked the part, but the taste was just okay. I swapped the almond milk for 2% due to my nut allergy, which the staff accommodated easily, but even still it didn't wow me. At $12 I was hoping for more. Ambience: [4/5] The interior is on the smaller side but I came on a beautiful day and sat outside, which made for a lovely lunch break. One Paseo is a nice area to be in, so the outdoor experience saves it. Overall Experience: [3.7/5] Jan's is a cute concept and I get the appeal, especially in that setting. But the prices are genuinely hard to justify when you're right next door to Cava, where your money goes a lot further. I'd probably come back for the vibes on a nice day, but I'd be much more selective about what I ordered.
