So.. we drove from the permanently closed location at the forum in Carlsbad to this one and we attempted to purchase an açaí bowl. We arrived approximately 10 mins before closing on Friday 6/26. Per the website they are open until 9pm. One of the girls asked us what we would like and another one shut her down immediately and said they weren't taking orders. To which the other girl said "if it's easy we can make it". Once again the taller girl told her "no! we taking orders". I found this extremely rude and a demonstration of poor work ethic.Eespecially since we had already driven so far out of our way to get one (these are my wife's favorite). I would recommend maybe showing up at least 30 mins before closing unless you want to deal with the poor customer service and snobby attitude. read more

We got a tropical freeze with mango, strawberry and coconut and a chocolate freeze with almond butter, fudge and marshmallows. Both were super yummy. The service was excellent and super friendly. We made a bit of a mess and offered to clean it and they swooped right in and cleaned it for us and were very kind about it. The space is clean and minimalist. There are two or three places to sit inside and a few tables and chairs outside. I would definitely come again, but my main complaint is that they are not as healthy as it plays it off to be. I looked up the nutrition info on the app and there is a ton of carbs and sugar. I guess it's a "cleaner" option than traditional ice cream but I would not consider this to be healthy. There were two options. I sampled Green Juice #3 and a blue one. Both were refreshing but I only grabbed one. Today was a one man show. He was giving out samples and running the store as well. I last had their soft serve a few months back in Vegas, when they had the snickerdoodle flavor. During my most recent visit, I ordered the small vanilla with chocolate drizzle and chocolate chips. It's similar to ice milk, not overly sweet and in no way creamy but it satisfied my craving. This was such a bad experience, we normally love coming to pressed but this time has been one of the worst, my boyfriend got a pressed with chocolate and blueberry and it was completely melted, LIKE SOUP ! there was hardly any plant based yogurt in the cup, normally they have always given us a decent portion for $8 !!! I went there this morning to get açai bowl at the Delmar Highland location , as I walked in, I noticed the girl in charge sneezed briefly, before I placed the order I asked her if she was sick, and she said, no, I sat down to eat, and could hear her going inside the kitchen coughing on and off, and as a doctor, I could see the whole picture that she is having some upper respiratory infection. so I ended up discarding my food and ask for refund. I showed her how disturbed that she was not taking the right precautions by wearing mask, or at least taking the day off since she's sick since she is in charge of handling food, her as it was, she took Covid test the day before, and it was negative. Really! There are tons of other infections other than COVID. I really think it's poor management that they make workers come to work while they have signs of an infection, especially without wearing masks. I usually like this place, but not sure I can trust it again. read more
