Pressed is one of the most accommodating, reliable, efficient dry cleaning services out there! Not to mention, technologically savvy. Thank you Pressed for bringing an everyday, out of date service to the 21st century. Creating an account you can see and control everything! Not to mention the one on one contact you get with THE OWNERS, not just somebody behind the counter. Having the convenience of my dry cleaning dropped off also adds to the convenience factor. All in all, as a good as it gets! read more

These guys know what customer service is all about. Their easy to use website to schedule pick ups is simple and effective. I use them weekly for button dress shirts and they are very very reasonable at $2 ea picked up and delivered. I had a missing button on one of my shirts and found it returned from cleaning with a new one sewn on. Come on! That's service. Keep it up Pressed Garments. Highly recommended. read more

Best dry cleaning service in the city! (and by far!) I've been using their services consistently for a year now, and I think that it's about time to share my opinion on Yelp - which has been pretty useful to me for a while now. They pick-up your laundry and drop it off at your best convenience. They are efficient & reliable! They are very cheap. Their staff is always friendly. They are responsive no matter what your question/problem might be. Great stuff! read more

These guys are generally pretty good, and our pick-up drop-off has proceeded smoothly over the years. They did recently send me back a formal gown with stains on it. After I sent it back, they offered compensation, which unfortunately was only $94 (plus $200 free cleaning), but I appreciate that they would do something. read more

All I can say is...I wish I would have found this place long, long ago! Perfect service especially if you have a doorman. They do a beautiful job and extremely convenient. Won't use anything else from here on. read more

I've been using Pressed Garments for over a year with no complaints at all. Here's why I love them: 1. I am a woman. I wear a bog-standard Brooks Brothers dress shirt to work every day. With many, many cleaners I have to argue about why my shirts should cost the same as a man's shirt to clean and iron. This has NEVER been an issue with Pressed. I left my former cleaner because of this - my shirts got charged as blouses so more than 2x a shirt. That offends my sense of fairness and with Pressed Garments, I don't have that problem. 2. The do what they say without angst on my part. Their service eliminates things that I would otherwise have to do. 3. They will either hang or fold, adjust starch to multiple preferences in the same order - I just add a note on an index card in each bundle of laundry explaining how each of us want our shirts treated. Done. 4. Service is excellent, low contact because they get stuff right. read more

I strongly suggest that you seek alternative dry cleaning options. I have used this service twice. Both times I have had to speak with the GM- Benny. He is not easy to work with and very defensive of any complaints you might have. In fact he usually puts blame back on the client, talks over you, and does not display any empathy or understanding of client concerns in the least. In my most recent experience a seam ripped on my dress under their care.I noticed it the first time I wore it post-cleaning and emailed to inform them of this. I received a call the next day from Benny who stated it was outside of their 3 day window to make a complaint but he would "make an exception" for me by having it repaired anyway and gave me a "good faith" $25 credit (read: quiet money) for future cleaning services. To give an idea of other experiences: A button fell off one of my suit jackets and they kept it an extra day to repair. That in itself is completely understandable. When they delivered it to the wrong building and then would not correct the delivery mishap the same day as the driver was "off for the night" I began to wonder about the service. After my experience with the seam issue and the GM's questioning of me wearing it and doing it myself, I am done. I will not use this service again and hope that I don't run into Benny in any future customer service experiences. read more

UPDATE: After reading my Yelp review, Tony Sacco, the owner of Pressed Garments called me. Tony apologized and per my original request, reimbursed me for the cost of the dress that was ruined -- $52. I've been a customer for over a year and will never be using this company again. Not only did Pressed Garments destroy my favorite dress and refuse to reimburse me for any portion of the dress (which only cost $52), but the manager Ben bordered on verbally abusive when I tried to speak with him regarding this issue. As another previous customer noted below, Ben gets extremely defensive, combative and blames the customer. Ben yelled at me, refused to take any responsibility for the fact that this company literally cut or pulled the straps off of my dress and had the audacity to ACCUSE MY DOORMAN of tampering with the dress upon delivery, which is just absolutely ludicrous and so incredibly low of him to even say out loud, which he did multiple times. I've never received such horrible customer service in my life or been yelled at by a manger. I'm actually shocked at how rude this human being was and I urge the owner of this company to hire a manger who will KEEP your customers' business instead of being so rude and aggressive that the company loses business. Lastly, I sent Pressed Garments 3 emails regarding the damage to the dress, all of which were ignored. I called multiple times and finally reached an employee and I requested he have his manager call me right away. It took 4 days for the manager to even call me about this. The concept of a dry cleaner pick up and delivery service is great and luckily there are many other companies in Chicago that do this. read more

I have been using Pressed Garments for over two years now and I have never had a bad experience. They always do a great job with my cleaning, and are on time and professional when they pick up and drop off. Also, if I happen to be running late and need them to come at the later part of my time slot they are always flexible. I would recommend Pressed Garments to anyone looking for convenient dry cleaning priced like any other dry cleaner. For example - shirts are $2, sweaters are $4, skirts are $4. Considering this includes pick-up and delivery I think I'm getting a bargain. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

They are great! I love these guys and they are terrific! They come to where you live to pick up and deliver your laundry which is better than your mom (you have to take your cloths to mom yourself)! And it is better than mom because of no nagging, "why can't you do this yourself "! Kidding aside it is cheaper and better for Pressed Garmets to do your laundry. It is cleaner and comes back fresh and folded! I had my winter jacket, pillows and blankets dry cleaned and they did a super job and it was darn cheap. If you are a bachelor, or senior or hate to do laundry it is probably better and cheaper if Pressed Garmets does the work, trust me...it's not worth the aggregation to do it yourself with this group! They are very nice, really good guys and they will make all you single guys and gals life easier! read more

I used this service before I moved to a different state. I really liked it! Had no issues - they were on time, clothes were clean. I wish they had the same service where I live now. read more

Great service! They always pick up and drop off on time and their prices are very competitive

I used Pressed Garments for over 2 years while living in Chicago. They always picked up and dropped off on time and they never lost any clothing of mine. Only once did a shirt come back with a minor mark, but they cleaned it again free of charge. One error out of 300 pieces of cleaned clothing is an excellent record in my book. Lastly, they always followed my directions for cleaning. Even though the apartment buildings I lived in had onsite locker options, I would only use Pressed. read more

I cannot express how much I hate doing my own laundry. Though my building has a laundry room, there's two washers and two dryers and they are always in use! I hate lugging my laundry down three flights of stairs to be beat out by someone first. Lazy? Probably, but everyone has that chore they hate. I would rather wash dishes for three hours than do a load of laundry. When I had enough after some of my clothes including a pillow (who takes a pillow!?) went missing, I had enough. I wanted something convenient so I went on yelp to see if there were any pick up and delivery places in my area and Pressed Garments came up! I end up spending more having my laundry done than doing it myself but the stress level is at 0 now. pressed is so convenient as I sometimes have weird work hours. They are for the most part on time, but if they aren't who cares? Things happen and the drivers are always so nice and let me know plenty of time beforehand with the opportunity to reschedule. Anyway five gracious stars! I use them every three weeks or so and I would cry if pick up laundry ever stopped being a "thing". read more

My friend Wendy, recommended I take my clothes here. Wow was I missing out. Not only do they do a top notch job, but by golly they were so speedy and prompt!! read more

Great concept but they are 1 for 2 with picking up as promised. This may be a great batting average but not for a dry cleaner. Called and no one picked up so I sent an e-mail. #ByeFelicia. Don't take your chances, unreliable. read more

Do not trust these shysters. They ruined a several hundred dollar Acne Studios silk organza couture dress from Barney's that I had special ordered. A huge rip had happened and there was a note clipped to it that said "damaged" - without any apology or follow-up. After contacting them and trying to be reasonable, with several attempts to get them to rectify the situation and reimburse me for the damage they caused, they were rude and hostile towards ME! They then had the AUDACITY to harass me via email and phone calls for over a YEAR AND A HALF claiming that I owed them. I will be reporting these guys to the BBB, its just recently gotten back on my radar that I need to do this after seeing other reviewers experiencing almost exactly the same horrible treatment that I did. At one point one guy even accused me of "fraud" when I tried to reason with them and ask them for funds to replace my dress they ruined - instead of professionally handling it with customer courtesy and polite course of action to fix their awful mistake - they kept contacting me over and over again trying to get MONEY. OUT. OF. ME! The only way I was able to get them to stop harassing me is by threatening them not with the police, but with bad press on Medium.com/Yelp/social media. This is a shady business and I am still so sad and upset about my favorite dress of all time (that I splurged my hard earned money on) that they ruined and never apologized or reimbursed me for. read more

Originally, I would have given these guys 5 stars. However, I just experienced a THREE day saga wherein they were late, my clothes were wet from the rain because the guy refused to move his van closer to my apartment, they didn't deliver an entire bag of laundry that I'd given them, they were difficult to reach so that we could fix the situation, when I did finally get my bag, it was missing a LOT and I had another girl's clothes instead, I didn't get an apology until 2.5 days into the mess, and they can't get their wires uncrossed to give me a reasonable estimate on when I need to be home for the delivered mix up. Also, when they did finally deliver my '"lost" items, the delivery guy was a jerk about the bag. Really- after all that, I have to take my clothes out in my front door so you can have the bag back?! Wow. Generally, I've never had a problem with them - they were punctual, communicated well, and were well priced, so who could complain?! But bad customer service is unacceptable. In addition to comping my laundry- which they finally offered- they should have offered something else as well. I spent a LOT of my time the last couple days getting home from them, texting, calling, emailing, etc. For a service that is meant to make life easier, that is NOT what happened. Since the costumer service with this incident was AWFUL, I am going to have to think seriously before using them again. What a shame. read more

This is the best pickup laundry service in the city. The driver will come by and pick up your laundry and/or dry cleaning and bring it back in two days. The prices are very reasonable (see their website for a list of services and price for each service). The owners are heavily involved with each part of the process. They have excellent customer service. I use them twice a month, and each experience is outstanding. read more

Pressed Garments rocks. Take one part really good dry cleaning, one part good pricing, and two parts killer customer service, and you have it. I don't use the laundry service, but after several dry cleaning / dress shirts runs, I'm tempted to sell my washer and dryer. Update 5/22/12 I've been using them now for several weeks. They've set up a standing appointment to pick up and drop off at the same time every week. This has turned out to be super convenient, and Pressed Garments doesn't even seem to mind if I only have a couple of pieces some weeks. You get a txt message before each pick up to remind you, a quick email after detailing your order. They even fix buttons and look for stains without being asked. read more

I have used Pressed Garments over the last year and have been completely satisfied with their service! Most notably, this past weekend I needed some items rushed in order to have them ready for a special event I had on Monday. Benny was responsive, returning my inquiry within minutes and willing to accommodate my rush request, completing the order within 24 hours! It was this last experience that has solidified Pressed Garments as my dry cleaner and laundry service provider despite moving to a building which offers these services on-site. I would recommend anyone to Pressed Garments, especially those who have a demanding work week. Thanks to Benny and Tony for their excellent customer service! read more

Great service. Very accommodating and fast. Nice drivers and good website. It would be great if there's an app for Android too.

I hate doing laundry -- even the chore of taking dry cleaning to the cleaners. I bought a Buy With Me to this place, and I was astonished. The process is no frills and easy. I created an account on the website, selected a pick up time (yes, the company picks up the dry cleaning from your home) that coincided with when I return from work. Two days later, the company delivered my dry cleaning back at my home at the same time it was retrieved two days prior -- 6:00. The clothes looked great. The real test was a coat that sat at the bottom of a closet for three years: It looked brand new. The prices are reasonable. Prices are a bit higher than I would pay at a mom and pop shop, but the convenience more than justifies it. Plus, the prices on the website are all inclusive, so you know exactly what you're going to spend. I will use this service again and again -- great idea and execution! read more

Pressed. Hands down is WORTH it. I pride myself as not being one of those people that dont mind taking their stuff to the store, cleaners, etc... I tried pressed because I had one busy week where I needed stuff down, but had no time to take it to the cleaners and pick it up. Pressed to the rescue...I hands down will be using them again and refer them to all of Chicago. They just delivered my items at 10pm. IT was supposed to be between from 9-9.30, and they sent me a text letting me know they were running late, and to expect me shortly. definitely 5 star service. a Must use read more

We started using Pressed last year after trying a bunch of different dry cleaners when we first moved her. We have yet to be disappointed. Their customer service is AMAZING and they continue to deliver perfectly satisfactory dress cleaning services. The drop off and pick up could not be more convenient and certainly makes our life so much easier. In my opinion, there is no other way to do dry cleaning! read more

I recently broke my foot, so I'm pretty much immobile for the next month and the washing machines that are two flights of stairs down from my apartment aren't accessable. Great Service! We use them bi weekly. The free pick up and drop off won me over!!

I have only used them once so far, but it was great. They were on time to pick up the clothes (you select a 30 minute window), two days later they dropped off on time too. The clothes look good, billing was accurate and easy, and it was cheaper than the dry cleaners nearby. I don't need dry cleaning that often, but next time I do I'll definitely use them again. read more

" Pressed Garments delivers an outstanding services and an unbeatable price for me. I always try to find ways to minimize time on household things to enjoy more of life besides a busy schedule. I am fortuned enough to have a cleaner service right next door but their hours don't fit mine and I love when my doorman tells me my cloths are back and all I have to do is take them. I would give this 5 stars and definitely recommend this service to anyone because its so flexible that it basically will work around your schedule and not the other way and pricing are great for me. The clothes are proper cleaned. I wish and and by this I mean every cleaning service here I tried in Chicago, that someone would come up with a real solution to dirt on cufflinks and sweat spots in the arm section on white clothes. Like a true great bleaching program that works. Thats all. Please continue the already outstanding service and keep me posted with improvements and offers. Thorben read more

I used Pressed Garments for the first time last week. I couldn't believe how easy it was and how accommodating Benny and his crew were. I will certainly continue to use this service and will recommend it whenever I get the chance. read more

I just HAD to visit YELP (where I found Pressed Garments in the first place) to add my own review and sing the praises of this AMAZING place. What a great find! I had read so many spectacular reviews of Pressed Garments that while I was HOPING for a really good place to send my dry cleaning and laundry, I kept thinking that all the great reviews of this place just HAD to be "too good to be true." But after giving them a try, I was totally blown away by their great work and INCREDIBLE Customer Service. I have never seen a business (in recent years) as service-oriented and on top of things as they are at Pressed Garments. Tony Sacco, is unbelievable; even sending confirming emails at almost midnight to confirm an early morning pick up the following day. The pick up and delivery service is prompt and curteous. The turn around time is extremely short. I feel very lucky to have happened upon this place and to have been prompted to try them out after having read so many GREAT reviews. It's SO refreshing to find out first hand that the service from A to Z is OUTSTANDING and consistent. Try this place. You'll love it! Wow! read more

Okay, now this is a place that is on top of their stuff. They have an easy online system to request and track tickets, and they pick up and drop off which is so convenient. Not to mention - they actually do a good job with your clothes! Their drivers are professional and courteous, and the communication and help from management is great. They respond quickly to all communication and when there is a problem they deal with it appropriately and professionally. In an age where customer service has flown by the wayside, these guys have not forgotten that customers still value this. Recommended. read more

Just moved here a few months ago, and have been trying to find a dry cleaner to use. I went to a few near me, but they didn't do a very good job. This company had amazing reviews, so I figured I would give them a shot. I dropped off 6 dress shirts and 1 pair of dress pants. They were returned to me cleaned (much more so than the other 2 I tried) in just 2 days. And with pickup, cleaning, and delivery of 7 items it only costed me $16. Awesome! read more
