Maria was extremely communicative even asking if I wanted business cards back in my blazer, removed pilling on the jacket, and repairing a small hole on the sweater dress. When the clothes came back to me exactly 24 hours later as promised, I was pleasantly surprised and one happy customer. Prices were comparable to my neighborhood shop if not a few dollars cheaper. When I went in with 2 dresses to get buttons replaced for both of them, the girl at the front who is very young, acted sort of clueless, and said she would have to wait till the manager gets back to see if the buttons were available. Keep in mind it's freezing cold out to commute, so I was leaving my dresses there, not sure if they'd even be able to be taken care of. She said that they would text me if they did not have the buttons. I dropped those dresses off on a Wednesday, the pick up day was assigned to be Saturday. I get a text on Saturday saying that they don't have the buttons. Waiting 3 days to notify me that they did not have the buttons, not professional or considerate to the customer's time at all. It's one thing to not have the buttons in stock and not be able to check for them / see what can be done when the customer comes in, but to make them wait until the pick up day, and only text them on the official pick up day that you do not have the buttons is actually ridiculous and unprofessional. You should at least message or call the customer to make them aware soon after they came in, a day or two after is acceptable. Don't make the customer wait until the actual pick up day, as I thought I would be getting the dresses fixed. Had I known this is going to be this unprofessional, I would've dropped my dresses off elsewhere so they would've been ready for me in time. The other employees are mostly polite enough, but I don't know the name of the very young girl who works there, she was very quiet, and not knowing how to do her job. I won't be coming back here as a result of this.

I come here so frequently that my dog actually knows the place and stops when we walk by so she can say hi and get a dog treat :) I'm really picky about my clothes so I'm always hesitant when trying a new cleaners. In fact there's several others nearby I went to first that for various reasons led me to keep looking around until I found this one! For dry cleaning I've brought in my fair share of stains on silk and other difficult fabrics and am always pleased with the end result. It literally feels like I stole the shirt of a mall cologne salesman and put it on. Not a bad smell, but just a persons smell, NOT AT ALL a laundry clean smell. When I came with another pillow (the same design, just its twin with the same problem), the lady said it was impossible to fix. When I said that she already fixed the twin pillow, that's when she finally accepted it. Now when I'm asking to her do some alterations on three shirts, she said she "wasn't professional enough" to accept them. She gives explanations like "too hard" or "too much work" and I'm left feeling like she just doesn't want my business. It's unfortunate since she is my neighborhood cleaners and tailor.
