I needed this outfit for an event and was so upset. I called on Monday morning and they apologized and promised to bring them that evening. Didn't show up for 3 days. When I finally picked them up myself, I was no longer in a hurry since I didn't need them, I was shocked how they changed the style of the pant and basically ruined my outfit. When I went in with 2 dresses to get buttons replaced for both of them, the girl at the front who is very young, acted sort of clueless, and said she would have to wait till the manager gets back to see if the buttons were available. Keep in mind it's freezing cold out to commute, so I was leaving my dresses there, not sure if they'd even be able to be taken care of. She said that they would text me if they did not have the buttons. I dropped those dresses off on a Wednesday, the pick up day was assigned to be Saturday. I get a text on Saturday saying that they don't have the buttons. Waiting 3 days to notify me that they did not have the buttons, not professional or considerate to the customer's time at all. It's one thing to not have the buttons in stock and not be able to check for them / see what can be done when the customer comes in, but to make them wait until the pick up day, and only text them on the official pick up day that you do not have the buttons is actually ridiculous and unprofessional. You should at least message or call the customer to make them aware soon after they came in, a day or two after is acceptable. Don't make the customer wait until the actual pick up day, as I thought I would be getting the dresses fixed. Had I known this is going to be this unprofessional, I would've dropped my dresses off elsewhere so they would've been ready for me in time. The other employees are mostly polite enough, but I don't know the name of the very young girl who works there, she was very quiet, and not knowing how to do her job. I won't be coming back here as a result of this.

For dry cleaning I've brought in my fair share of stains on silk and other difficult fabrics and am always pleased with the end result. Also for tailoring I've had a ton of designer skirts and dresses altered from silk to wool. Just today I picked up a Canada Goose jacket that was hemmed and it turned out wonderfully! This changed last week when, on account of laziness, I opted to hand over a number of t-shirts rather than hand washing them as I normally do. I was in a hurry, so I left with a receipt indicating the number of shirts, but not the price per item. Upon returning to pick up the shirts I was horrified to find that I was being charged $4.50 per t-shirt. Not for dry cleaning. Not for special care, but to launder and press the shirts. A standard button down dress shirt costs $1.50, so at least in my estimation, the price is exorbitant. Despite the on-going business relationship no accommodations were made. I paid 1/2 of the outstanding balance (because it was all the cash I had in pocket and it was the middle of a tornado watch), but was not permitted to take a single shirt until I settled the entire debt. Upon my return, I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked if he would accept the standard shirt rate. No such luck. No discount. No apology. It goes without saying that I will not return. On a semi-positive note, when I hung the shirts in my apartment, I discovered an additional shirt of mine that went missing some months ago. Apparently it had been floating around in the basement for a while. At least it finally made its way home.

One tailor said it would take two weeks before they would even start to repair the camisole. The other tailor said they would have to add material to repair--which in my eyes meant too much work and money to fix a simple repair. The tailor at Walton Cleaners not only repaired the camisole within 24 hours, she repaired it so well that one can hardly tell the camisole had been torn to begin with and they charged me a very reasonable price to fix it. I went for pick up and the owner apologized and told me that it was still at the alterations place an hour away and that he would bring it in tomorrow. (A week after it was supposed to be finished). He also insisted that these items would be free of charge because of his mistake and the inconsistency. Mind you, I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and a flight that leaves at 5 am. so I told him that I cannot wait until tomorrow, and the fact that it's over a week late is not my problem but his. I offered to pick it up and he said no, he would bring it to the shop. Well I get there to pick it up from the cleaners and he proceeds to tell me that it will be 88$. How? When you were late and you just said it was free. Meanwhile I told him that was ridiculous and he charged me 60$, only for me to try it on at home and see the end result (see photos attached) . I went back and showed him, he gave me a refund. But moral of the story, I went through hell and back for jeans I can't even fit anymore since they took the butt in and all I needed was the waist.
