i was really excited to try this cafe, it looked like a super cute and chill place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. To start, the parking is by garage only. They do validate but its already a hassle to find parking and walk over to the cafe. I ordered a smores latte, which was not good. The coffee tasted stale and the syrups tasted too artificial. The baristas and cashier were also not friendly. I wouldnt go back which is a shame because it looks like such a nice calming area to rest and relax.

I had seen this place recently opened up. As I was driving by I. Priced it and decided to make a quick stop before my other errands. They have parking validation for two hours, it's nice and clean. Lots of outdoor seating and calm vibes. I ordered a basic iced latte and plain croissant. The coffee was good you can def taste it unlike some other places that are pretty watered down. The croissant was nice and flaky. Service was nice, friendly, and quick which is appreciated.

The matcha latte was super bitter with super cheap matcha powder. I asked the staff lady if I should get iced or hot and she recommended iced, I couldn't help but think this is because iced drinks are filled with ice. The mug design was asinine as was the latte art orientation and they really don't think about helping customers make photographable experiences. The beignet was very unmemorable. The staff lady was pretty darn rude when I ordered just a beignet and matcha latte (she wanted me to order more expensive items) and didn't even acknowledge me when I came to pick up my latte when it was ready nor when I brought it back after taking a sip because it was disgustingly cheap and terrible-tasting. The vibe was only half decent because of the location in a corporate plaza area with sunshine. Just a super cheap place that skimps on just about everything except trying to hook customers on impressions that can't be substantiated.

This was a cute hidden gem coffee spot tucked in a corporate plaza near John Wayne Airport. I was already in the area for a medical appointment, and I was craving somewhere I could have lunch, matcha, and work on my laptop. Press & Moka was perfect for all 3. Parking was plentiful inside a structure, and validation was available for 2 hours. The place has a beautiful outdoor area with seating and string lights that I imagine look super pretty at night! The coffee shop itself is small and cute, and at the time I went it was decorated for Valentine's Day. I ordered the nova lox on an everything bagel and a matcha latte. The lox bagel was delicious and came with a yummy dill cream cheese. The matcha latte was a great afternoon pick-me-up. Service was quick and easy. I'm always looking for dog friendly spots around OC, and next time I'm in the area with my dog I will definitely think of this place's big outdoor area!

I've been here a couple times before today. We decided to come today for Newport restaurant week menu. It's a pretty good deal for a drink, sandwich from their list, and two beignets. They do validate parking when you park in their garage for two hours. They have a wide variety of seating outside, only when the weather is nice. Otherwise, there's only a few tables on the inside. I enjoyed that they have several housemaid syrups. You can have your pic of coffee. So I really do enjoy their drinks. As for the sandwich, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on ricotta bread. It was actually more bread than fillings. The chicken I thought was lacking. But it did have good flavors. My friend's avocado toast looked good, but very small for the price. The beignets were basically two donut holes, so I wouldn't get that again. Overall, I would come back for their coffee drinks. SYOY!

First Visit To Press & Moka!! Cute Modern Coffee Shop Located Irvine!! Relaxed Ambiance & Nice Vintage Decor!! Friendly Staff!! Limited Indoor Seating!! Wanted to try a new place and was really hoping to love this place but was overall disappointed. The only upside is the cute outdoor area. Got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk ($1 extra for oat milk feels criminal). The oat milk was so overpowering I couldn't even taste the espresso - $7.50 for a super lacking drink. I went back to tell them and the girl working said they recently changed their oat milk and agreed that it wasn't very good. I had them make me a different drink and got a hot mocha. It was definitely better but the ink on the cup completely rubbed off onto my hand. This place needs some serious attention to detail. Unfortunately won't be back.

A charming coffee nook with a classical interior design with plenty of patio seating and inside seating. The staff was friendly and fast with their service. I ordered from their seasonal menu a Buddy The Elf's Sugar cookie hot latte, which was pretty good and a plain beignet.

What a cute little coffee shop and more! Nestled in a little area along Von Karman, it's quite a delight! I was needing an afternoon snack so I walked over from my office just minutes away. The manager was so nice and helped my manager and I! We ordered a salad, a pumpkin loaf with chocolate chips and a mini muffin for my colleague! They also have other items on the menu, including Panini's and more. Service was fast. Staff was very friendly, the insight is very clean, and the vibe was just great! There was space inside for indoor seating. There's an outdoor seating area with cornhole, a water fountain, and I think there was a putting green too! Stop by here and support if you're in the area!

This little coffee shop serves up delicious coffee and some yummy crepes. I had the lavender latte, it was delicious. And for my crepe I had the Toscane Veg. It was good. There's plenty of outdoor seating so on the weekends you can enjoy the beautiful weather in OC. It's also a very dog and kid friendly place. They do validate parking so don't let that stop you from trying it out.

Press & Moka Coffee is such a gem. The girls are incredibly sweet and genuinely welcoming. They always remember us, and they even remembered my Frenchie, Toast, after meeting him just once. That kind of care goes a long way. The coffee is always incredible, and their recommendations never miss. Even the ham egg and cheese croissant felt elevated and thoughtfully done, like a simple classic with a high end touch. The ambiance makes it even better. Inside feels like a cozy little Paris cafe with the wall art and charm, while outside there is plenty of seating to enjoy the sun or sit in the shade. There is even a small golf putt putt area that adds to the fun. It is the kind of place you want to linger at.

Came here for coffee with a friend to chat for a bit, and was pleasantly surprised what fantastic outdoor seating and setting to relax in. Great latte and brought home an amazing crepe. Will definitely be going back. (They do validate parking when you use the garage.)

They have a huge parking lot and they validate so we love that. The coffee is nice and strong. The service was helpful and quick. They also have a nice selection of food, crepes, sandwiches, pastries. I tried their beignets, they were fluffy and tasty. The croissants were delicious too. I'll be back to try the crepes! And stay a while bc the chairs looked comfy.

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and were glad we made a reservation in advance, as the place has a great energy and fills up quickly. To experience as much of the menu as possible, we ordered several dishes to share. We started with the Burrata and the Butcher's House Pate. Both were excellent, but a special shout-out has to go to the bread and butter. The bread quality is top-notch, and the butter is divine--it immediately reminded me of the high-quality butter I've had in France. Before the mains, we shared the Butcher's Salad. It was incredibly refreshing and the perfect palate cleanser. We opted not to add protein to the salad since we knew we had a feast coming, and it was the right call. Since they are known for their butchery, most of our group went with steaks. Two friends ordered the steak and eggs, and I went with the classic Steak Frites. The steak was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sauce was amazing. Both the potatoes and the fries were standout sides--perfectly crispy and seasoned. Toulouse Sausage was a total hidden gem! It was incredibly juicy and flavorful. I tried a bite of my friend's cod, and it proved that they handle seafood just as expertly as their meats. It was delicate and fresh. Favorite fine dining / Michelin-star restaurant in OC! Can't say enough great things about it!…read more A super intimate, upscale-casual (smart casual vibes with no enforced dress code) restaurant located in the third-floor penthouse of SCP. The space feels intimate because it's on the smaller side, and they thoughtfully stagger reservations so the dining room never feels overcrowded. You can be seated in the main dining room, on the outdoor patio, or on the indoor patio next to the penthouse shops. I come here at least once a year for my birthday because the staff are genuinely warm and make every guest feel special. They clearly care deeply about hospitality and creating a true culinary experience. Honestly, the entire team is top-notch, but on our most recent visit, Kara took especially great care of us. She remembered our preferences, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without needing to ask, and made my birthday feel special while also giving my husband and me space (I dislike when wait staff at smaller restaurants hover - they don't do that at all). The way the staff serves, takes orders, clears, etc. is like a really well-rehearsed dance - they want everything to be paced, smooth, and efficient (without feeling forced or robotic) and it really makes a difference. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, with thoughtful attention put into every detail of the flavor profile and color palette. They NEVER miss. I love how they refresh the menu a few times during the year to showcase seasonal ingredients while still staying true to the restaurant's overall identity. They also have a selection of dining experiences - I always go for the 3 course prefix during lunch and the portion sizes and timing of each course is perfect. Also highly recommend their afternoon tea on Saturdays. Couldn't find a more luxurious afternoon tea experience in OC! I genuinely hope they continue to do well! Apple (vanilla panna cotta, tatin, earl grey crumble, granny smith: compressed & gelee, green apple sorbet): You gotta come here for dessert. This was phenomenal. The earl grey crumble was delicious and plays well with the sweet tartness of the granny smiths. I'd say the component that felt out of place was the compressed pieces; they tasted like an fresh apple version of tandra which was too sweet and the layers meshed together. Main diver scallops (cauliflower, romanesco, capers, lemon confit, crostini): The scallops were so juicy and perfectly seared on the top. The cauliflowers were good but lackluster. The server told me there's cauliflower puree on the bottom which was yummy. Lemon confit who? There was an essence of lemon but nothing very present. Crostini was essentially like mini plain croutons. Wild Alaskan halibut (braised & fermented fennel, castelvetrano olives, preserved lemon): Only tried a bite of the fish and fennel. The fish was very nicely cooked and the crust on top was delightful. The fennel was sour due to fermentation but I didn't particularly enjoy it.

The food is of highest quality and it's served impeccably. The staff is always top notch and this place is run incredibly well. The dining rooms are stellar and the noise is never too much. Worth every penny.

Easily the best French food I've had in the US…read more Let's just start by admitting the truth - I'm a total carb girlie. So obviously I had to get the butter and bread. Do I hate paying for bread? Yes. But was the butter amazing? Also yes. We ended up trying 3 different butters: black winter truffle, olive oil and lemon, roscoff sweet onion. All of them were honestly awesome. The onion was particularly good and the truffle had good truffle flavor without being overwhelming. Dishes I ended up trying: -1/2 Dozen escargot cannelloni - this was so interesting. It wasn't my most favorite thing but the flavors were good and worked well together. I probably would just prefer the standard escargot. -Short Rib - this dish is PERFECTION. My god, it came with robuchon style potatoes, which are a PAIN to make if you ever do decide to try to make them yourself. But oh my god, they were so good. I could sit and eat a tub of these. Everything was delicious and everyone in my party left with happy stomachs. There's valet parking but it's pretty easy to find parking in the parking lot for self-parking. You might walk a little further, but no biggie. You probably need the walk after consuming this delicious meal. Our server was also pretty awesome and explained everything on the menu well as well as offering suggestions. I did ask some questions as whether I could sub out anything and she was quick to say since everything is made to order/fresh, they could always offer substitutions on anything they make.
