Went in to buy a pair of boots, and truly I lucked out. An employee named Jerry asked if I needed…read moreanything, and after a brief conversation proved to be an incredibly valuable resource. Jerry offered products, cited personal recommendations, and was an all round EXCEPTIONAL customer service employee/ manager. My visit to Coastal was truly made better with his input. Thanks Jerry! I will be seeing y'all again soon thanks to him! Oh and the check out girls were not super thrilled that I cited Jerry as an exceptional employee at check out. They actually mocked the fact that i said he was great- it was condescending and rude, and he's their team mate?! Super unprofessional. Disgusting. Dakota and Carolina??? They were both named after cities or states.... They sucked. And they did kind of throw a damper on the entire experience!!! Imagine how disrespected I felt after saying their coworker made my experience enjoyable, that he was helpful, and being personally mocked. I spent money- and I was mocked- I walked out feeling embarrassed- as if I did something wrong giving their co worker kudos! But Jerry was great!

Liars and cheats, I bought a ton of pellets on senior discount Tuesday and showed my military ID…read moreand got ZERO discount. Two employees said it was already discounted so no additional. She charged me 49 and 1 to get to 50 so I wouldn't get the discount. I did get a $25 gift card but to not get $36.90 cash off (10%) is BS. The same pellets are cheaper at Oregon farm and irrigation after the BS gift card. She screwed me over with such a straight face is what pisses me off the most. Liars and cheats may be strong but if you consider this to be a 100% BS transaction, what else are they/she doing? Check your receipts!!! Screw me once shame on you, Screw me twice shame on me. You won't get another opportunity.

Eurosports is a must-visit on any trip to Sisters. This was my second trip to Sisters in two years,…read moreand (thus) my second trip to Eurosports. This time, it was on the eve of the famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, so the beer garden was full of lively sewists enjoying some brews and live music. They had a couple of food trucks on-site, too, although the lines were long so I just enjoyed a beer (or two) and went on my merry way. The staff here were friendly, and the beer-on-tap selection, while not huge, had plenty of variety and I was able to find a nice, cold amber ale that I enjoyed immensely in the warm summer hear. Bonus: if you need some bike supplies, they've got those too!

Eurosport Bike Shop is so much more than just a bike shop!…read more My husband and I have become regulars at their Thursday trivia nights and Friday live music--both are such a blast. The vibe is always welcoming and fun, and the food carts on-site are consistently delicious. Plus, the Eurosport staff serve up great beverages with genuine friendliness. Yes, they do rent and sell bikes (and do it well). We've purchased a bike from them that we absolutely love, and they've also helped us get one of our older bikes road-ready again. Their service is knowledgeable, thorough, and never pushy. Honestly, even if you're not a cyclist, Eurosport is still worth a visit. Between the entertainment, food, drinks, and awesome community atmosphere, there's something here for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out!

SweatHawg makes a fantastic minimalist bicycle helmet liner that soaks up as much sweat as you can…read moreproduce. I recently (this past weekend) bought one of their liners and gave it a full-on test ride, in hot conditions, over a long (100 mile) ride. I usually wear another brand of "sweat guard", but sometimes got headaches from it. The SweatHawg was comfortable (I couldn't tell is was there) and worked great. On the hottest part of the ride (90+F) on a long climb, after hours in the saddle already, SweatHawg was still working hard (and I usually fight to keep sweat out of my eyes).

From the owner: SweatHawg Extreme Sweat Control Headwear…read more One Thirsty Beast No more sweat in your eyes or drips on your glasses! This sweat swilling swine has it all over the drip-sipping options already out there. Our helmet liners have a generous comfy layer of hydro-philic felt that absorbs ten times its weight in water. Revolutionary absorbency is sewn into aggressively wicking fabrics that disperse, evaporate and cool. Wicks Wet Away SweatHawgs are helmet liners. Originally intended for cyclists, they have since found homes in skate helmets, ball caps and cowboy hats. A wicking brow transfers moisture to hyper-absorbent fabric. Then the wicking head cover aggressively disperses moisture, where in evaporates and cools. Double Cool Bye-bye bandanna! Second "cool" is the clean stealthy look. SweatHawgs hide in helmets. Black material is barely visible. The hook and loop attachment option is pretty cool too. Pads come out, liner goes in, attaching to the pad system's hooks.
