My wife and I both got exams from Dr. Tsai and left very impressed. The office itself is conveniently located with plenty of parking, and everything inside looks brand new (because it is). My previous optometrist was apparently pretty old-school because I hardly recognized the equipment Dr. Tsai was using: no paper eye charts here. Despite all the high-tech equipment and new (to me) procedures, she clearly explained everything she was doing and what it meant. I ended up knowing a lot more about my eyeballs than before I went in. Once the exam was over (and having found out my previous prescription wasn't strong enough) I decided to get new glasses. Premier has a substantial selection of frames... which for someone who doesn't do a lot of "personal decoration" was kind of intimidating. Luckily, the staff at Premier Vision and Dr. Tsai herself were very helpful when it came to selecting a nice style that had the proper fit (btw, since many of their clients are asian, they have a selection of frames that fit asian facial structures better - seriously, it makes a big difference). They then talked me through the different lens options, keeping in mind what my insurance would cover, and breaking everything down so that I was entirely comfortable with the frames and lenses I purchased. As for my new frames: they're much more stylish than I probably would have picked out myself, and since I've received several compliments on them I guess I should probably seek out professional help more often. I have been going to the same opthamologist since was an infant and was really skeptical about trying someone else, but decided I could not do the 2 hour commute since I moved. I came across Premiere Vision on yelp and was pleasantly surprised to see that they take my vision insurance (Lenscrafters does not). I could not have been more pleased with my experience! They have all the newest equipment and the doctor really knows her stuff. Not only was she intelligent and good at the technical part of her job, but she was also an excellent communicator who has a lot of interpersonal sense and was able to take her time to make sure all my questions were answered. It was clear to me that she enjoys what she does and takes pride in doing a thorough job. After my exam, the receptionist helped me pick out frames. I'm quite indecisive and was not looking forward to this part so much because I feared ending up with something that I didn't like so much when it was all said and done. The lady was wonderful! I felt confident because she obviously sees many different faces in many different frames and could tell right away when something wasnt right for me. When I decided on the frames but couldnt be sure about the color from the book without seeing it in person, she offered to order them and let me pick between the color i wanted to see and the color they had in stock when my order came in. I thought that was really nice! I appreciated the flexibility and honesty and also appreciated that she cared about finding what was going to work for me in a way at didn't feel like high pressure sales. I ended up with some frames that I really loved, even though I wasn't stoked about having to wear glasses again. Upon our first visit to Dr. Tsai's office we were warmly greeted by the staff and were impressed with the display of modern frames. My husband and I both had an appointment with Dr. Tsai. She is very thorough with her examinations and you can tell she truly cares about your vision. I was especially impressed by all of the up-to-date equipment she used. My previous optometrist's office was pretty out of date, but Dr. Tsai has all the necessary examination equipment for her patients. My husband couldn't believe the clarity of his new glasses. The horrible glare while looking into on coming traffic at night has been dramatically reduced thanks to Dr. Tsai. My husband had some other issues with his eyes and Dr. Tsai was attentive and gave him some suggestions to help him out. I also got a new pair of specs and am super pleased with the result. I liked how I was able to choose from a large variety of the latest styles of frames. In addition to glasses, I also wear contacts. Dr. Tsai had me try on a trial pair of lenses she thought would work for my busy lifestyle. She even called later to check in with me to see how I liked them! Nestled in a cozy strip of small stores, I found the unexpected: an optometry Superstore. My neglected, out of focus eyes needed everything--an exam, prescription for contacts & glasses, the glasses, etc.. Categorized by the DMV as being "legally blind" and having had to wear glasses since 3rd grade, let me tell you - I've been through my fair share of eye doctors & know my way around an optometry office. There are other options in the area but I'm glad I did my research and chose Premier Vision. In a sea of countless optometry offices that seem to be stuck in the 80's in decor, expertise, technology, and personnel - this place was a true gem! Simply put, this was just THE BEST, cleanest, thorough & state-of-the-art eye exam I have ever had. Staff are extremely professional, punctual and on the ball - your time is respected with an appointment that flows and is efficient. This doesn't mean that there is a rush to get you out the door like a cookie-cutter factory, you really feel that the staff are dedicated to giving you a thorough and personalized analysis - which is rare nowadays. My favorite thing about my exam was my doctor's manner as a medical care provider - she actually took the time to explain to you what she was doing - you end up learning a lot more about your health and your body (how everything is connected) by just having her examine your eyes. Besides monitoring my eyesight, she also educated me on what to look out for and how I could better take care of my eyes for the future. Sight at last! Sight at last! Thank god almighty, I can see at last! There is a reason I gladly travel 30 miles to get all of my optometric needs addressed at Premier Vision Optometry. And that reason is quality. From the moment I walked in the door, I was met with enthusiasm and professionalism all at once. This wasn't a stuffy or drab optometry office, and certainly wasn't a mill where you feel like a number. Rosie and Christa went out of their way to make me feel like a valued individual, while also adeptly attending to the others lucky enough to be getting their eyes checked here. Rosie and Christa are so friendly and classy, and it is delightfully obvious that they truly enjoy what they are doing. The customer service is exceptional. I didn't think I could meet anyone more genuine, professional, and caring than Rosie and Christa...and then I met with Dr. Tsai. I immediately understood that the high quality at PVO flowed from the top down, and that Dr. Tsai was the source. It is rare that you see a practitioner in his/her profession so passionate at what he/she does. Dr. Tsai exudes exactly that. During my examination, Dr. Tsai was thorough and addressed all of my concerns. She was beyond patient, and took extra time to precisely calibrate my vision. And then she did the unthinkable...Dr. Tsai actually explained to me what she was doing, why she was doing it, and how my vision actually worked. Dr. Tsai definitely knows her stuff. And she explained everything to me in such a way, that I didn't feel like I was in a "medical" office or three years old, but in a coffee shop having a regular conversation. Not going back. The doctors are nice and pro. But don't trust the front staff. They lied just to make the sale. They tell you one thing, then make excuses and tell you they made a mistake or didn't know something. On top of that, they delayed getting my glasses to double the wait time. I did researched the area for LASIK eye surgery and settled on Premier Vision to take care of me. That was the best choice ever! The staff is friendly and efficient, I've never had to wait more than five minutes for my appointments, and Dr. Tsai is professional and knowledgeable. My eye surgery went great and I had 20/20 vision the very next day! I wish I had done this sooner. Premier Vision is conscientious and thorough with my care. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly receptionist. Dr. Yang was very attentive. I'm sensitive to contacts and my eyes get irritated easily. She was the first to recognize my eye allergy and recommended a brand of contacts that worked great. She's also very responsible; she gave me a week to try out the new contacts and only after making sure my eyes adjusted during post check-up, then she gave me the prescription. read more

I made an appointment with Kirsta which by the way was very pleasant to speak to. Over the phone she walked me through on what to expect on my first visit and gave me a breakdown of my coverage and cost. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Tsai her educational approach and spirited personality reassures you are in the hands of people who care. The frame selection process might start off a bit overwhelming for a fist timer like myself because the thought of having to wear glasses may be enough to take in, But Krista and Rosie are extremely honest, have a great eye for whats in and looks great, and will stir you to the perfect pair whether it's from a selection your insurance covers to other designers. I have been to quite a few optometrists, but I was very impressed with Dr. Yang and her staff. As soon as I walked in the aesthetically pleasing office, I was warmly greeted by the receptionists. Before I could sit down to wait for my turn, the staff got started on my annual check up. Immediately after my preliminary tests, Dr. Yang called me in for the eye exam. I agree with 'Darren C.' (see below). I walked into Premier Vision Optometry with a contact lens Rx for Acuvue Bifocals (discontinued). I was told that I would need to have a new eye exam in order for them to fill another brand ($$). I called my original optometrist who wrote the Rx (for Acuvue Bifocals). He told me that Premier Vision Optometry could call him and that he could change the Rx over the phone (for another brand). I then spoke with Premiere Vision Optometry, told them what my optometrist had just told me, and they backtracked - confirming that I would NOT need a new eye exam in order for them to fill another brand of contact lenses. I'm so sick and tired of businesses that are not forthright and just try to make a buck however they can. Very shortsighted. You just lost a customer who will be wearing contact lenses for years to come! read more

I wear both contacts and glasses. I absolutely love buying sunglasses and prescription glasses but the only problem that I always have is finding the right ones that will fit an Asian face. I can never seem to find cute glasses that fit. Well, my problems have been solved! Premier Vision had everything I was looking for. Not only did they carry a wide variety of different name brands of glasses and sunglasses but they all fit so nicely and the best part is the awesome price! YES...I am a bargain shopper and always looking for great service, great quality and great price! :) The hours are really good and they open on certain Saturdays so make sure you call. The staff is super friendly and was so nice about letting me try on almost every single glasses they had. Dr. Tsai was very friendly and professional. I stumbled upon PV Opt when I was having my weekly dinner at El Pollo Loco. After the old beauty shop left, I kept my eye on the new building every time I stopped by the crazy chicken. I noticed this week that they had their grand opening and had a grand opening special. I don't typically get my eyes checked on a regular basis, but I could not pass up the sweet deal. So I walked in this past week after an early dinner, and I was greeted by their wonderful front desk. The wait was minimal and I was quickly escorted to see Dr. Tsai. She knew her stuff, man! I was amazed by the new equipment she had...very fancy and new....no more of the projector style eye charts. She was able to set me up with a cool pair of black rimmed glasses (urkel style). I have been a customer since 2010. I've been going to this place because liked the optometrist. However, I had a horrible experience today. My appointment was at 2:00, and arrived 5 minutes early. However waited til 2:35 before I left the place. In this day in age, I don't believe anyone should make their patients wait longer than 20 minutes. I also agree with all the other's who gave a low review on this place. I don't trust the front staff. I always end up paying more than any other places. They add all these extra fees that you don't know what you end up paying for. Plus, the front staff also give you the wrong information about your insurance and they tend to be rude. When I inquired when the doctor will see me, one of the receptionist said "yeah, yeah, yeah." At the end, they lost my business. I am not happy with them anymore. After reading other reviews, I am not surprised that others will not be going back either. There are plenty of optometrist to choose from, for them not to honor an appointment. My workplace is near Premier Vision Optometry so not only have I now found a convenient place but I have also discovered a most trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly doctor in Dr. Tsai! The best optometrist I've ever been to!! Dr. Tsai is very thorough and professional. Unlike the other optometrists I've seen, she takes time to listen to your problems and gives you all the information you need to know when choosing which contacts are right for you. She's adamant about follow-up appointments to ensure the ultimate fit and comfort. In addition, Dr. Tsai is young and hip, so you know her frames and sunglasses are current with the latest trends. More importantly, she is great with kids! My 3 year old son was so comfortable with her that he didn't even know she was checking his eyes. Her office has the newest technology, which makes exams more efficient and accurate. (None of those old machines that measure eye pressure by puffing air into your eyeballs!!)
