My wife gets her glasses and contact prescription here. I've only ever gotten a prescription here. Dr. Lai is very kind and knowledgeable. While I've never gotten glasses here because of limited option. My wife has and I like the glasses I chose for her. The waiting room seats were comfortable. They even had baby seats for kids. They have funny posters throughout the office. For their COVID protocols, if you try on glasses, they ask you to leave it on the table so they can wipe it. read more

Great doctors, great service, and great staff! I've been coming here for the past few years even before they moved to this new location. This new facility is very clean and Dr. Chiao is always ready to offer her professional advise; whether it be a cyst on my inner eyelid, my nearsightedness, or consultation for LASIK procedure, she's always patient in explaining and makes sure I leave with all my questions answered and worries quenched. Before I had LASIK, I'd always ordered my contact lens and glasses after my annual check-up and the ETA the staff quoted me was always on time if not sooner. This one time, when they didn't have a certain style of frame that I liked in stock, they offered to order it for me. How awesome is that? Came here today for my long overdue eye examination. What a neat, well organized space. I was immediately pleased. The staffs in the front desk were warm, friendly and efficient, which is a rare amongst all the Chinese Dr's offices I've been to. Dr Chiao was very professional and thorough at her job. She patiently explained to me my symptoms, and was able to fit me with a comfortable yet improved proscription for glasses efficiently. Joann at the front desk was a great help at finding me a stylish yet comfortable frame for my new glasses. She introduced me to this Korean brand call "Review" which has super light weight yet cute frames. All of my friends and my parents are all patients of Dr Chiao's and everyone have absolutely no bad things to say about this clinic! never been happy with there service. I've had to wait as long as 30 days for my glasses. had to call my insurance to call this office on my behalf to get my glasses. this was my 3rd time with this doctor July 2014 she's a very nice lady but has never had my glasses ready when promised .this last time they called me to go in to pick up my glasses the lens were wrong they had to be send back to the lab. I asked for my money back .my wife and I will be looking for a new doctor. there quick to say there sorry but that's not helping me get my glasses. read more

Though they carry high end glasses mostly, they have a great staff that's happy to help, adjust, and recommend lenses. When Dr. Hom sold the business to the new owners, it was the smoothest transition and I was able to have an eye exam and glasses in a snap. I haven't had any issues in all my years with this new optometry. Since I've relocated and am now out of network (according to my vision plan), this review is my "thank you" for so many great years and for my family who continues to visit them! Small optometry office but the staff is friendly and the female doc is knowledgeable and answers my questions, gives me her honest opinion. Their prices are reasonable i.e. fitting fee is cheaper than other locations. The only negative i can think of is, bc its such a small place, they have limited selections. I looked through a lot of reviews before choosing an optometrist for my urgent medical condition, and a lot of them said she was knowledgeable and patient to explain things to you. (So true!) Plus I checked her school and she went to SCCO/Ketchum, and she had great reviews, so I was sold! I showed up on Saturday at 9am as the first customer. She quickly diagnosed my issue (unlike the many other physicians I visited), explained what was going on in the mechanics of my eyes/nerves, explained my current available options, and directed me to what I needed to do next. She even gave me a handwritten note summarizing everything we talked about for my next doctor! I was out pretty quick with the info I needed. My mom and I have been coming here for over 10 years. I've had wonderful experiences. The staff there are super friendly and always patient to address any questions I had. Dr Lai and Dr Chiao had helped me with glasses and fit my first pair of contacts since I was a kid. My mom also loves them. I have moved around a lot and lived in multiple cities. Me and my daughter came here for our eye exam as recommended by a friend, I have nothing but good review to say about the office from Staff to Dr. Chiao. When we arrived the office, we were greeted with friendly staff (think her name was Joanne). She explained us the flow is to have the eye exam first and then determine if a glass is needed to be order. We were able to get the eye exam right the way as we had sent in our insurance information ahead. During the eye exam, Dr Chiao make it a fun experience for my daughter that the eye exam went very smooth. After the eye exam, Dr. Chiao explain to me why my 6 years old needed to have a reading glass to delay short sighted in the future and she also recommended a frame that is so light weight that it almost don't feel that you are wearing a glasses. The staff then explain to us that the glass will take about 1-3 weeks for the insurance company to process depend on how busy the insurance company is, we actually get a call from the office 5 days later saying that our glasses are ready for pick up. I was impressed how fast the services is, will definitely come here again and recommend it to our friends. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Chiao/Bright I Care for a long time. I love her as my eye Doctor because she is patience and take care of my eyes. She found my glaucoma years ago and refer me to a specialist. And now, my glaucoma is stable. As a designer, I use my eyes a lot. I have to staring at the computer more then 12 hrs a day. My eyes look tired and red all the time. Dr. Chiao found I over worked with my eye and has very serious allergy. She suggest me to switch contact lance and get a new pair of glasses. Without any medication, my eyes are a lot better. I love the new glasses. My vision during day and night can't be better!!! Thank you Dr. Chiao for taking good care of my eyes. :-) read more

Last semester we received the note from the teacher that my son could not see the board clearly and may need to have his eyes examined. We went to Dr. Chiao's after receiving recommendations from two different friends. As you can imagine, it would be very time-consuming, if not troublesome, to conduct an eye exam on a first grader. But Dr. Chiao is very patient, explaining the purpose of each exam while dealing with my curious and active son. Turned out he is slightly near-sighted and we picked the frame with the staff's help. Came here today because I need a new pair of ortho -k. I have been wearing them for 12 years, but I have been hearing negative opinions, so I was really considering changing to day time contacts. The office is clean and the front desk is friendly and nice. I was brought in for eye exam with the staff, and Dr. Chiao came in after shortly. I must say, Dr. Chiao is so awesome! She was very detailed when explaining my options. She explained the pros and cons of having ortho-k and day time contacts. I learned new things about my eyes after her examination (e.g. I naturally have drier eyes). I couldn't ask for a better optometrist; she had experience wearing ortho-k, so I was reassured. At the end, I decided to keep using ortho-k because that is what I have been using, and I feel more comfortable about it now that I know the mechanism of those contacts.
