Dr. To recommended computer glasses for me, which had never been suggested during the years I went to Stein. I always felt my regular glasses were too strong when working close to my computer, since I sit pretty close to the screen and my nearsighted prescription made things uncomfortable at that distance. The computer glasses have made an incredible difference. I also switched to scleral contact lenses, and they've been a total game changer. My disposable contacts just don't compare--I used to experience some blurriness with them. Dr. To explained why that happens, and the staff walked me through how to properly care for the new lenses, including how to insert and remove them. I can't imagine going back to my old contacts now. I didn't really catch it in the dimmer store lighting, but once I got home I could see the tint much more clearly against my skin and decided it wasn't for me. Thankfully, JINS has a great 30-day return window, and Edwin made the whole return process incredibly easy. He was friendly, efficient, and made everything feel completely hassle-free. He scanned my receipt, had me insert the original card used for payment, even asked if I wanted to keep the case -- and that was it. So, huge shoutout to Edwin for making the return just as pleasant as the original purchase experience! I'm definitely not done with JINS though. They have great frame selections, especially for low nose bridges. Next time, I'll just be more mindful of which blue-light lens option I choose.

The interior is bright and immediately when you walk in, they have your paperwork ready and the staff was knowledgeable about your insurance, telling you upfront what the copay would be and what other payments you would be able to get today which I really appreciated. The appointment was on time, Dr. Boutros was easy going, friendly, and genuine to hear concerns and provide honest recommendations. I was able to leave with some contact lenses to test and she also provided a couple of single use eye drops because I noted sometimes my eyes get dry. I think I've found my go-to optometry and look forward to coming back.

After asking about availability, he bluntly replied, "I don't have any doctor today." I then asked a very basic question: how much my insurance would cover and what my out-of-pocket cost might be. Instead of offering assistance, he immediately responded with, "I don't know. I don't know how much you're going to pay. I don't know your plan," in a tone that clearly conveyed annoyance. I had already told him what insurance I have. When I asked whether he could check my benefits, he finally said he could, but not before muttering something under his breath. The entire conversation felt like I was inconveniencing him simply by calling. It was obvious he didn't want to be bothered doing the most basic parts of his job. Patients call medical offices every day to ask about insurance coverage, costs, and appointments. These are standard questions--not unreasonable requests. What was most astonishing was the audacity. If you work in a customer-facing role at a healthcare office, the bare minimum expectation is that you treat people with courtesy and professionalism. Instead, I was met with impatience, attitude, and a complete lack of customer service. If answering routine patient questions is that irritating, then perhaps customer service is the wrong line of work. I hadn't even become a patient yet, and the interaction was enough to make me take my business elsewhere.

Sincerely the worst…read more I got my eyes examined and ordered my new frames on New Year's Eve -- two months later on February 25th, I finally admitted defeat, ask for a refund and leave without any glasses. After THREE ATTEMPTS, the glasses they made *never once* had the right prescription, and it had to be sent back to the lab *every time* incurring a 2 to 3 week delay, each time. Often they would not alert me that the glasses had come in, or claim that they had called and left a message when no voicemail existed. I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with this place, but something sure is.
